This stuff is AMAZING!!
I have used Dr. Bronner's products for several years, but recently I have been able to enjoy them even more!
If you want a great lather for hand soap, body soap, shaving etc. what I have found out is that you should put about 3 parts water and 1 part of the liquid soap into a FOAMING HAND SOAP CONTAINER.
It will extend the life of your soap supply, and you'll love the texture. Even thought this stuff may cost 15 dollars up front, it seriously lasts at least 6 months if you use it properly.
Warning!!: DO NOT USE THIS STUFF WITHOUT DILUTING IT. It's meant to be mixed with water, so don't be surprised if you experience sensitive skin if you don't dilute! 3 parts water to one part soap at minimum.

I have been using this as my body wash for many years! When I was a teenager I started getting tiny bumps on my skin and my sister, who's lived in China for many years, told me that a body scrubbing cloth and mint soap is what I needed. I've never gone back! And my skin has been so smooth ever since! It's very concentrated, so dilute as much as you want, I usually do 2 parts water to 1 part soap.
This is one of the only 100% guilt-free products I buy. I feel absolutely no guilt about corporations, environment, animals, you name it.
With my sensitive skin it is hard to find an all-in-one product that won't irritate me somehow. But for camping and backpacking I always use it. I can brush my teeth with it, wash my face, body and hair with it. I can wash the dishes without harming animals or water supplies. It's awesome. I also use the baby formula castille soap (fragrance free), and the lavender.

This is a review for the Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Soap. I always saw this product at Trader Joes, Erewhon, Wholefoods, and other places but never thought about buying it. It wasn't until I discovered Jason's Tea Tree Gel (LOVE IT) that I decided to purchase a body wash that was also organic and tea tree. It soaps up very well, like the scent, and I feel super clean after a shower. You can also use it to soap up your legs and then shave. Saves on getting a separate shaving cream! I bought mine at CVS for like $9, in the medium big bottle, not the giant size one. Although next time I will probably purchase the giant size.
I absolutely swear by this product!!!!!!! I have always struggled with acne. I've tried everything including proactive and prescription lotions and this worked even better!!!!!! I use it as a refreshing body wash, I wash my hands with it, I hand wash my clothes with it, I have even washed my car with it!!!
If the cooling element is too intense water it down a bit. Other than that - I love it. I have even washed my hair with it and received good results!
Great tip: take this soap with you when you go camping!!!! it'll clean you, your dishes, it can go in the river, and it leaves you feeling amazing out in the dirty wilderness!!
Another great tip is squirting it in a bubble bath or a pedicure solution!!!!! So fresh and clean!!!!!!!!
ps....I buy it in bulk and I always transfer this soap into another dispenser to use it more easily!

LOVE THIS STUFF! This is the most invigorating body wash I've ever used, and I always feel squeaky clean. Yes, it can feel pretty intense...down there, lol, but as long as you dilute it well and use the suds, it's not bad at all. It's a great pick me up in the shower, especially since I'm not a morning person. I only wish it had a pump, because the large bottle is awkward to hold in the shower and very easy to drop. So, I transfer it to smaller bottles. I also use it as a facial cleanser. I love the cool, tingly sensation. I don't feel that it's too drying, especially since I follow up with my Merlot Grapeseed moisturizer. I have very oily skin though, so for those who have dry/normal/sensitive skin, it may not be suitable for you. It seems to keep my skin clear and smooth. I'd like to try the tea tree oil soap next. I use this in the AM and my Cetaphil cleanser at night. I've heard that it can make hair straw-like so I have yet to try it as a shampoo. It's great for shaving your legs though. As for brushing your teeth with it...never again! I didn't like the soapy taste at all. It felt like it took forever to completely wash it out my mouth. I'll stick to my regular toothpaste. lol It really is an amazing all-in-one product though. I also use it as a shower, tub, and toilet bowl cleaner and this stuff works SO well. I couldn't believe it! I didn't even have to scrub vigorously or anything. It really does dissolve the dirt and grime. Will definitely repurchase.

Not sure what all the fuss is about this soap. I bought this and expectated it to be wonderful. It smells nice, but it's very expensive, a thin consistency and it runs quickly out of the bottle. I decided to use it as hand soap, and it is so thin that it squirts everywhere in both of my hand soap dispensers. My DH tried it in the shower and made the mistake of using it on his private parts, and it's too tingly...I am thinking about using it to clean my makeup brushes.
Disappointed and will not be buying this soap again...
A classic, versatile go-to. I have never tried this on my face, but have used it delightedly on the rest of my body. Because of the cooling sensation from the peppermint, I usually prefer to use this "flavor" during warmer months and a different one during winter. I love how well it can be customized by diluting with water or using straight. I use this to clean make up brushes (both natural and synthetic). It has recently turned into my laundry detergent as well - I just use a bit and it works well! It also becomes dish soap sometimes. I realize that it might be in a slightly higher (maybe 2, depending where you buy it) price bracket for some folks, but I buy it in bulk, which is super cheap.
this is my post-workout lifesaver. sometimes you just feel disgusting, and this is one of the few things that makes me feel clean again. it is no-nonsense, and while not as glamorous as some other bottles in my shower, it gets the job done while making you feel like you're inhaling peppermint patties. the peppermint is *intense* but very realistic - it smells like actual peppermint leaves, not like candy canes. i love the smell now, during the summer, because it's so refreshing, but i'm not sure how i'll feel come the holidays when it's inescapable!
the texture is much nicer than i was expecting - it actually reminds me of my favorite l'occitane almond shower oil. it has the same slipperiness that stays on your body, allowing a little to go a long way. it does lather if you use a loofah. it works very well for me for shaving, but my skin is not very sensitive. if you do have sensitive skin, i would suggest diluting it or keeping it away from areas with razor burn, etc.
the only thing i deducted a lippy for was that it doesn't always feel like it rinses off completely. you get that super slippery feeling, where i probably end up standing under the water for longer than usual, just making sure it's all gone. however this is definitely a staple in my gym bag, and any other time i need something heavy-duty to feel fresh again.
Wowza! My lady bits and everything else tingle when I use Dr. Bronner's Hemp Peppermint Liquid Castile Soap. (When I say that my lady bits tingle, that's my suggestion to you to use caution, as you might find that it feels a bit strong down there.)
Personally, I like the thin consistency. I barely use a few drops, but the lather is huge! Plus, with the thinner consistency, it takes a lot longer to go through a bottle of this stuff, even using it straight from the bottle, undiluted.
The peppermint scent is refreshing and strong, and the cool tingle is a much-appreciated bonus. I have a hard time using anything else, because I just don't feel as clean when I do! This is one of the few shower products on which my husband and I agree. He's even ditched his supermasculine, chemical-laden shower gels in favor of Dr. Bronner's!
This is an animal-friendly, vegan, all-natural product that truly gets me clean. I love it. I have yet to try the other uses for it (laundry, cleaning the house, pet shampoo), but I'm sure I'll like it just as much for those purposes!
