Personally, and this is based only on my skin chemistry, But the eyeliner was FANTASTIC! Granted the first time I ever wore it I smudged it but I learned how to not touch my eyes and I never smudge now. It dries fast, it has a nice dark black, it doesn't fade except for a little bit at the end of the day, but that's just because I rub the corners of my eye. It goes on VERY easily, I got a perfect line on my first try! And it's just overall great!

while its not the worst eyeliner in the world, its most certainly not the best. i like an eyeliner thats really deep black and defined and i find that this eyeliner has almost a faded black color...damn near grey. its not dark enough for me. and it also takes a while to dry and burns when its gets in ur eye. i also noticed that it wears off after only a few hours. it smudges easily which is annoying! however the tip is amazing and gives a precise line with ease.

I bought this because I'm desperate to find a waterproof liquid liner with a felt tip (since it takes me longer to apply liner with brushes as opposed to felt tips). I have to agree with many of the points made by other reviewers about this product. It's not a very deep black, more of a chalky dark grey color and worst of all it BURNS! The burning isn't drastic or anything, but because I used this on one eye while I used my usual Revlon colorstay liquid liner on the other to make comparisons, I definitely noticed the Almay caused some burning as opposed to none on the other. Never ever using this again, probably just gonna chuck the one I have.

I actually really like this stuff! I don't find it takes long to dry, and the wand is nice and short so I get more control over the way the line turns out. I wore it into the hot tub and it still didn't rub off, so I don't see how it smears. then again, I don't wear primer so that could be why? that doesn't make much sense though. anyways, I personally love this stuff and havn't had any of the problems that other people seem to have.

I do, however, know there are better liquid liners out there so I would recommend revlon colourstay liner instead.

This stuff takes forever to dry. If you don't wait long enough, it will smear when you blink your eyes. If it smears, it's terribly difficult to get off of your eyelids. By the end of the day, the color fades to a yucky grey and parts of the eyeliner are gone. I highly DO NOT recommend this.

All I can think of are negatives! This takes a while to dry, but once it does, it still smears REALLY easily even with primer! The applicator tip wasn't designed very well either; it's very hard to apply efficiently compared to the other liquid eyeliners I've used.

I don't have issues with this liner regarding irritating my eyes and I love the dark matted black color. However, this smudges sometimes for me even with a primer (I do have oily lids though). I do not like the thick felt like applicator tip because I just can't draw a good, thin line with it. I would much rather prefer brush tip applicators since i can manipulate them better to the curves of my eye lines. I would not buy this again.

This stuff is crap. I bought it because of BOGO sale, and because the bottle and brush remind me of my favorite Prestige liquid liner. Those are the only pros.

Cons:
Smudges like CRAZY for a liquid liner
Is NOT a true black, more like a dark gray.. seriously lacking in the pigmentation
Takes forever to dry
Comes off when I curl my lashes

I cannot say enough bad things about this product. Threw it in the trash after 2 uses.

After going through different liquid eyeliners, such as Maybelline and Palladio, I found that Almay has produced the best drugstore liquid eyeliner. The felt tip is easy to use and the formula is long-lasting. It doesn't smear or smudge, and it doesn't burn your lids. The color's great, not too dark. I'd like give the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eyeliner a go though; heard great things about it.
