This is so great. It's a pink and a brown duo but when you mix/layer them, they become a pretty gold! Golds are my favorite, so I loved it when the MA used it on me. I absolutley love the packaging too. The applicator has a great, soft brush on one end and a normal sponge applicator on the other. And it's got a mirror as the cover and the bottom is clear so you can see the shades. I think this was my first high end eyeshadow.

I noticed my friend who never wears makeup with shadow on one day and it looked AMAZING. I was like, "Kristy! You're wearing makeup!" and we got to talking and then I found out what shadow she had and had to get some for myself. I do really love it. The brown could be a bit sheer-er though. The translucent pink is fantastic. And I love the applicator it comes with.

My friend had this on one night and I immediately went out and purchased it because I thought it looked really pretty on her. I've never been a huge fan of Clinique products, but was really impressed with this eyeshadow.

It glides on smooth, and I liked the fact that it was packaged with a small brush and a sponge so that I didn't have to pack my angled brush on trips to do the crease. The colors blend so easy that I didn't have to worry about getting the crease to dark, I can easily lighten it up with my fingertip.

The colors do have a lot of shimmer to it, so if you don't like shimmer, I wouldn't recommend it. But they're warm and fairly neutral colors that will look great on a skin tone with a slight tan.

I thought this product was great. It went on nice, looked beautiful, and wasn't too dark, which is my usual complaint about brown eyeshadows. My only problem with it was that the pink was translucent, and it didn't show up very well against the brown. It's definitely worth buying, though. :D

Beautiful, if you have fair to olive skin and dark hair this will compliment you well. Has good staying power even without a primer. Worth the price.

I love this eyeshadow. It goes on really smooth, and layers wonderfully. It's awesome how many different looks you can create with just these two colors. It's quite metallic when it's on your eye-so if you don't like that, I would steer clear. I love how the pink looks goldish. Just lovely, all around!

These 2 colours are gorgeous....I got this as GWP, I use the darker mocha/burgundy shade as e/l and the golden-pink shade under my lower lashes and the colours are beautiful. Clinique's Colour Surge e/s are very pigmented and have the silkiest texture - they're a real pleasure to use. I'll definitely be purchasing this as well as other colours once my GWP runs out. Whilst the green packaging with the GWPs are quite plain, I really like the packaging of the non-GWP ones (sleek silver).

This is my HG eyeshadow!!! I am always on the lookout for a new shade and new look, but I just can't do it!! I always go back to using this!!! It's very versatile too in how you apply the two colors to mix things up. It looks good with or without eye linter, too. I hope they never discontinue this set.... it will be a staple in my makeup bag.

I received this as a gwp, and it's nice enough on my pale, cool-toned skin that I've been using it. I like the pink as a wash and the brown in the crease. But I prefer matte makeup, so I won't repurchase this duo because of all the shimmer.

This was my first introduction to Clinique's reformulated color surge and boy, am I impressed. I had seen this duo used on a model as part of a presentation of Clinique's fall/winter look and was captivated - picked it up only days later and is probably the favorite of my eyeshadow collection. The shades in the duo are stunning, a sweet pink with peachy/gold iridescence and a plum brown with subtler peachy/bronze iridescence - two shades which compliment each other beautifully and work equally as well on their own. The formula for these shadows is surprisingly good, very pigmented, easy to blend and a pleasure to work with. The color stays on for hours without creasing which makes this a great everyday choice for me, but touchups (if needed) are comfortable to do since the compact actually includes a brush/sponge duo (as opposed to just a sponge). I'm a brush-gal so this is a nice surprise. 5 lippies for Clinique, I'm excited to try out more shades from this line.
