I was a little intimidated by the large brush at first but quickly grew to love it. As long as you are quick, this is easy to layer to either have soft wispy lashes or thicker more dramatic ones. I find it stays better if I use a primer first, my pick is Urban Decay lash primer first then BadGal and it looks great!
I picked this mascara up because I'd read and heard a lot of great things about it, and I've never used a high-end mascara before, so I thought "Why not?"
WAND:
This wand is pretty huge, in both length and thickness (wow, that's dirty), and is a bristle spiral type brush. I always fall for these kinds of wands. Something about them just looks great. As a girl with a decent set of natural lashes, I dig the big brush and would call it one of the mascara's main selling points, but girls with teeny lashes-- nuh-uh. You will make a mess.
FORMULA:
The formula is really creamy-- not too dry, not too wet. It's a very rich black, and has had no trouble holding a curl.
CLUMPS & STUFF:
This mascara will do a lot of things for your lashes. One thing this mascara will not do is clump. It is great at really separating your lashes and bringing them up and out. Some people have said that this mascara smudges, but I haven't seen it. However, I don't wear mascara on my lower lash line, which may make a difference. I have seen very slight flaking, but nothing serious.
RESULT:
Honestly, this is a great mascara, but it just isn't as dramatic as I would have liked. I have found that using a lash primer (I use Merle Norman Lash Prep) really amps things up, and makes a HUGE difference. With the addition of the lash primer, I am very satisfied with this mascara, and will great use out of it. This mascara promises you the lashes a "bad gal," and I would say it delivers. You get pretty good length, as well as lots of separation and volume.
OVERALL:
This is a great mascara, it does what it claims to. However, I am slightly disappointed that it costs $19. While I realize this is not the MOST expensive mascara out there, it isn't cheap. I was really hoping for jumping jacks, the whole nine yards, and drag queen lashes for that price. I will probably not be repurchasing only because I want to try other prestige brands of mascara. In other words, I would repurchase this if I wasn't so curious about others. I would recommend this to ladies (and gents) who already have decent lashes and are looking for some length and volume (and don't mind the price tag).

I used this once as a sample.
It's better than most mascaras but it's too expensive. I can get Japanese mascaras which are cheaper and much better than this!
I saw a trial size tube of this product while standing in the checkout line at Sephora, and decided to try it since I've never had a high-end mascara before. When I tried it, I was happy to find no clumps and longer, fuller lashes. However, I've been using Neutrogena mascara for a while now and I don't think that BeneFit can compare - that is to say, I've used better mascaras for a much cheaper price.

This is one of the best high end mascara i have ever tried. There are no clumps. It makes my lashes longer and fuller. I wear this mascara the most often because it's great. It stays on my lashes for the whole day. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality mascara that will last you a while. It might be a little pricey however it is worth it.
I think that this mascara is great. It does not clump. I use it often and it last for quite a long time. I think that it is quite pricey, just for a mascara. However, i think that it is worth it for a good quality mascara, like this one. I recommend it for people who likes to try out new mascaras.
Absolutely useless mascara. Doesn't do anything for my lashes apart from making them a bit blacker, and separates them a little bit. Doesn't lengthen or volumise them, definitely does not hold a curl, and worst of all, SMUDGES like nothing I've seen before. Whenever I wear this (since I'm determined to make it work...) I end up with mascara down my face in a matter of hours - and I don't even use it on my lower lashes, just the top!

I got a sample bad gal. This gives pretty great volume without clumping, but nothing amazing i mean you could get a drugstore mascara that works the same for much cheaper. If you want an amazing mascara get the they're real by benefit, it gives amazing results! but as for this, you could definetely buy a drugstore and get the same results.

I got this mascara in a the Benefit Snow White & The Huntsman kit at Ulta (talked into it by a salesgirl and I was aiming to buy the PoreFessional anyway so I thought what the heck) and honestly? It's nothing special. Almost no volume at all, a little bit of lengthening and seperating, and basically no staying power. Don't waste your money on this. There are plenty of mascaras out there, drugstore even, that are way better than this stuff. continued >>
this mascara its not a miracle in a bottle but its not far behind either
i have the waterproof version due to very straight lashes and i need to keep my curl up :)
this mascara lengthens my pretty short lashes , gives them volume and holds a good curl throughout the day
removes easily with oil cleanser or bi-phase ones
i think i actually like it better than the dior-show , and its cheaper as well
cons
smudges a little bit - specially if applied on lower lashes
bottom line - most probably i will purchase again , if in the meantime no one invents the miracle mascara !
