I loved this foundation at first but after a few months it started to oxidise on my skin around miday and make me look orange. A collegue asked me if I was wearing make up beacuse my face looked different - he was so surprised when I told him I always wear it. I honestly dont know what happened, I stored it in the box away from heat and sunlight but something must have changed. Maybe its just because of the formulation of the palest shade or something. Such a shame bacuse prior to this it was an absolute revelation - full, long lasting coverage that was completely wightless. Felt like I wasnt wearing make up at all.

I used the old formula Teint Idole for years and loved it. I don't like the new formula ($45 wasted). I am not sure what to try now since I've used the same thing for so long.
This is like the whole "new" coke thing from the 80s!! If it works and people like it leave it alone!!

Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair, Warm Hair: Red, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green

Pro's:
*Great summer foundation - sweat proof, transfer resistant, light.
*Minimizes pores.
*Med to full coverage.(buildable to full with second layer or spot layering) Vastly superior to Estee Launder DW in coverage (actually, its VASTLY superior in every way to EL DW)
*Breathable, comfortable. (in humid/warm seasons)
*Pretty finish.
*Easy to apply (I found it best applied/blended with fingers vs. brushes)
*Does not migrate in fine lines (I don't have deep lines, but I do have fine smile lines and lines due to my deep round eyes and am pretty attentive/paranoid over whether foundations will migrate and collect in these areas)
*Wear lasts an insanely long time, 10+ hours, at least.(I don't wear my make-up long enough to test the 24 hour claim) It doesn't noticeably break down as the hours go by.

Cons:
Contains alcohol, not good for dry skin or problem/sensitive skin. Looks amazing if you just need to cover acne scars and large pores (which I have), but if your skin is dehydrated, dry, or suffering from breakouts and flakes, this foundation is not moisturizing enough to use daily, it will aggravate.

I have dry-combo skin, and I will use this foundation on those hot, humid days when I know I'll be out and about for a good while and don't want my makeup melting/dripping off of me or smearing around. So for me it's a good foundation for practical reasons, but the one con I have listed is huge enough to make it not a HG foundation for me. I need a foundation I can wear daily, and I don't think this is it because I don't think putting alcohol on my face daily is a smart thing to do given my dry/combo skin.

I'm in shade Ivoire 160. I have fair-light, and neutral-leaning warm, skin tone. It's a pretty good match, not perfect, a touch too peachy(not orange, but like a pale cool peach), but good enough, blends well into my Mac NC15-20 skin. Ivoire 160 was the best match for me in the range.

This is a fantastic foundation! Here is my breakdown of why I love it:

Coverage: Medium-full (buildable)

Finish: Matte

Long-wearing?: Extremely! This one really does last on my oily/combo skin, which usually eats up foundation. I'm quite impressed with it because of this, I must say. I've never tested its supposed 24 hour abilities, because I have never had to, so I can't comment on that.

Shades: Again, this is where the fall-back is for me. Unfortunately, the palest shades available in Australia (different shade system to the US) are all quite cool-toned (pink). This is unfortunate for those of us who are very fair and warm toned :(

Packaging etc: The pump works great, and the packaging feels quite luxurious. I am kinda scared I will drop and shatter it though, since it is made of glass :/

Cons: It can tend to emphasize dry parts/ flakiness, so I wouldn't recommend this to those with dry skin.

Nearing 40 I have decided to pamper myself a little more than I have in the past and this was my first "high end" aka overpriced makeup buy, unfortunately it didn't live up to it's hype , it's gone by mid day and it seems to really settle into and exaggerate my lines/pores. In other words i have used better drug store foundations for half the price.

I love Lancome makeup. BUT for this one, I have to say NO.
Pros: (only 2)
1. medium to full coverage
2. light-weight
Cons:
1. exaggerate large pores
2. hard to blend with brush (I found this foundation only works with beauty blender, but I love using my brush to get flawless looking. T_T )
3. sticky while applying, drying afterwords. This foundation is definitely not moisturizing.
4. greasy after 4hs (it states to be long-lasting, BUT, which is half-correct, your face is like a grease ball in the afternoon, o_O )
5. Pricy for this quality, not worth it

If you love the original Teint Idole, I bet u hate this one.
Lancome, if you see my comment, please bring back the original one! I don't mind you rename it. Thank you!

I used the 14 hours teint idole for years and then they switched the formula to the 24 hour one. Anyways I'm glad I first got a sample before buying the whole thing as it is about $45 for 1 oz.
The foundation made my pores look gigantic and my face really greasy, the foundation looked really thick like I was wearing a mask on my face. Also lasts about an hour before my face gets greasy and the foundation starts sliding off.
I will not be buying this product.

I, like others, wanted to love this makeup and had high hopes that it would not cause blemishes. I am so disappointed. My face after 3 days of wearing is just awful. And, no, nothing else is the reason and nothing has changed to cause this. Thank goodness this was a sample, and I would encourage anyone, especially those with sensitive or acne prone skin to get a sample first. I will say that it has nice texture and did last a long time, but that doesn't really matter with the number of blemishes from which I am now recovering

This make up is AHHHMAZING. I have combination skin, AND I live in Texas. This lasts forever. It rivals my favorite, the Revlon colorstay, which is tempting to go back to since this is so $$$. but I really like this foundation cause I feel like I barely put anything on and it covers everything without making it seem like I have makeup on! I use a bit of concealer here and there but I really don't need it with this. I was expecting to hate it because I had just returned a Bobbi Brown I hated...but I totally fell in love. And the fact that they have "neutrals" not just warm or cool. Makes me look like I got great skin and trust me I don't lol. Lasts ~6 hours for me in heat and all day for just inside and going out and stuff. I do use this with some primer and I moisturize. Good stuff, definitely buying again. The difference between this and Colorstay is that Colorstay is thicker and it is hard to take off (intentionally) and it really doesn't feel natural when you touch it. It's like..sticky. This makeup however is really thin, almost feels like water BUT it has the same or better coverage. Amazing.

My new HG! This foundation is amazing. It is expensive ($44) but I figure my skin is worth it.

I have noticeable pores on my cheeks and parts of my nose, but the foundation covers them beautifully. When I am breaking out, it covers the blemishes. I can't say enough good things about this stuff!
