This BURNED...ever so badly. Not allergic, just instant burning on contact. There are a few versions of this concealer and I have the one that stats it's for dark circles. Maybe there's an ingredient that's irritating--I don't know what but it's worse than any other product I've put near my eyes. Smells toxic, like burning plastic or gasoline or something, and there are actually kind of fumes that go into my eyes when I use it. Uuughhh...so awful. And under my eyes it felt sore at the end of the day when I washed my face. What the hell are they putting in this stuff...?

I wanted to like this product so badly. I'm an NC 35 at the moment and I picked this up in the shade Neutralizer. I have yellow undertones and from eyeballing the packaging this one seemed to have a yellow undertone. the first time I tried this out I applied way too much so that was my own fault. The packaging is a little hard to use because it's hard to control how much product comes out. I since then have applied much less product underneath my eyes.
I have combination skin that leans more towards dry and it was a little too drying underneath my eyes. It seems to brighten my face if you looked at me from far away but up close I could see that it looked cakey on me face. So I might actually return this and doubt I'll repurchase. I wanted this specifically for some slight dark circles and even though it brightened my face a little I still saw dark circles and bare in mind mine are not even that dark!
I've heard great things about this from YourTubers so maybe it just doesn't work for my skin type.

OMG this product is bomb, like I thought the applicator and the all of the claims of this product seemed a little gimicky. Like the age rewind stuff and the sponge applicator...still not sure about the it helping with the wrinkles and fine lines, cant say i've noticed any difference in that. BUT as a concealer its pretty amazing. Its definately a light to medium coverage concealer. Has a thinner consistency that I actually like for under my eyes because it doesnt cause me to have to pull or rub my eyes too much when i'm trying to blend the concealer in. I dont have what I would call bad circles, but I do have some blue discoloration around my nose and underneath my eyes and this works to cover them up and brighten that area. However, i'm going thru this stuff like water like i've had it for a month and its almost gone already. Never gone thru a concealer like this, but its cheap and readily available at all drugstores so i'll def repurchase.

After convincing myself that the applicator won't cause breakouts and clogging, I finally got this concealer. I have struggled with horrible dark undereyes since forever! I guess it's hereditary because no matter how early I try to sleep at night, they hardly ever fade.
Before this, my go to undereye concealer was a MAC one, but that felt too heavy and dry that I felt like I was pulling the skin around my eye too hard and within minutes it creased like hell. So I went for the garnier undereye roll on. For the longest time I used this but felt that it was too dark and was doing the opposite--instead of brightening it, it made it worse.
So finally I got this and so far it is a decent one. I apply this on top of s full coverage foundation--which I use as a concealer and instantly brightens it. I got the yellow tone one and it does help neutralize the redness around my eyes and makes it look awake.
I would prefer a better packaging though, I loved the packaging on of garnier roll on and also love how it cools my eyes and reduces puffiness as well. Still preferred how the garnier one works, but like the color of this.
I just bought this a few days ago, and it's pretty awesome. I'm actually really surprised how much I really like it. I thought the packagaing was pretty gimicky at first, but it's actually not! I do not try to blend with the sponge tip, I just apply it with the sponge and then pat/blend it in with my fingers. I use it on my undereye area, eyelids, as well as on breakouts and acne scars. the texture of this concealer is like nothing I've ever used before. it blends in and looks like SKIN instead of looking like you put concealer on. You can also let it dry and then apply another layer if you need more coverage and it still blends in and looks like skin, instead of looking like caked on concealer! I have shade Fair and it blends in perfectly to my skin. I have used it over my Dr. Jart BB cream as well as under (tried both ways to see if the finish was any different) and it works great either way. I set it under my eyes with MUFE HD powder and then MUFE duo mat powder foundation over the rest of my face and it looks really great. I will most likely repurchase, and now I'm pretty curious to try out the Age Rewind foundation... but I'll probably hold off for a while since right now I'm loving my BB cream.

Personally, I don't like this concealer for dark circles. It does cover them up somewhat, but it's probably light-to-medium coverage at best. It doesn't erase my dark circles, puffiness, or fine lines--and my under eyes aren't even that bad-looking in the first place. It doesn't treat them, either (not that I expected it to). But this is probably the first concealer that actually DIDN'T settle into the fine lines under my eyes. So that's a first!
But my Maybelline Dream Lumi and Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat do a much better job for concealing my under eye area than this does.
Instead, I use this concealer for blemishes. I find that its coverage and consistency is just right for my skin--it's not full coverage, since it's a liquid, but it does have somewhat of a medium-to-full coverage.
Funny how it hardly has coverage on my dark circles but a lot more on my face (the area around my eyes are really weird).
It wears flawlessly underneath my tinted moisturizers and foundations, and wears well on top of my primers.
I have this in Honey, which is the darkest shade. It somewhat matches my NC35 skintone (a bit too light for me, but it's still a good match). It's appalling that Honey is the darkest shade! Maybelline should really expand its shade range--there's no way that tanned people, let alone women of color, will be able to find a good shade match. This is problem with almost all Maybelline face products, I've noticed.
I do, however, like the packaging.
A lot of people complain about the sponge applicator, but I actually like it. It's better than a brush applicator, IMO, and I'd prefer to not have to actually apply it with my fingers. It does apply streaky, though, so I eventually I'm going to have to blend it out with my fingers, but I still like the sponge and the neat twisty thing.
What I don't like is how there's hardly any product. I've used this thing maybe 15 times and I'm already halfway through. /:
Would I repurchase? Maybe.
I just bought this concealer yesterday and I am still in total shock. Until yesterday, I used to conceal and highlight my eye area this way: after applying my moisturizer, I put on Diorskin Nude concealer, then my foundation (Dior forever foundation), again the Diorskin Nude concealer and then the Clarins instant light highlighting concealer. So yesterday I put on my moisturizer, then foundation, and then this Maybelline concealer and OMG!! My dark circles were completely concealed and my undereye are looked better than with the two high end concealer that I always used! I'm so glad that I bought this concealer (after reading many good reviews) because this one saves me a lot of money and time!

I like this a lot and I've been using the Light color quite a bit for my undereye circles. I have puffy eyes so sometimes my dark bags are difficult to conceal, but I don't have the "reverse panda-eye" problem with this concealer as much, I guess. I don't like the sponge tip - the packaging says it's "protected with an anti-microbial system" and that you're not supposed to wash it, so I haven't... but it still feels dirty to me.
This concealer doesn't do a 100% perfect job of covering up my dark circles, but no concealer I've ever found has done that. It looks natural and doesn't crease as much, and for that, it satisfies me, and I will probably repurchase for my dark and puffy eyes.
edit: I have two of these, one in Light and one in the Brightener shade. Light gets a three from me, Brightener gets a FIVE because OH MY GOD LOVE IT. Great for concealing eye bags, blend it down below the shadow and it brightens your face right up!
This stuff is by far the best concealer I've ever gotten my hands on. It even blows Benefit's Boiiing and Erase Paste out of the water. I bought this in the brightener shade and in medium. I use the brightener to cancel out the blue/ yellow/ green/ purple shade under my eyes and then I put the medium shade over it. It has completely won me over because it's not heavy or cakey AT ALL, but at the same time, it's opaque like nobody's business. I'm not crazy about the fact that it's $9.. but it's definitely worth it. I also took a lippie off of the packaging quality because I'm not really a fan of the weird little sponge applicator... seems unnecessary and not very hygienic.
I wouldn't say this is a bad concealer, but it isn't great either. I use the neutralizer and it does an okay job covering my dark circles if paired with another brightening shade. It does crease a lot so I'm constantly smoothing it out with my finger throughout the day. For the price, I've definitely tried much better concealers and probably will not be repurchasing.
