I love this foundation. I have very oily skin but I can wear this all day without being shiny. I also don't break out with this though I know that usually depends on one's sensitivities. It does not have full coverage but it's definitely buildable. My one issue with this is that they don't have my exact shade. I use Mac Pro Longwear in NC30 so the Revlon ColorStay in Sand Beige is a bit light for my complexion. The medium beige one is darker but is too pink for me.
I have to mix the Caramel and Cappuccino to get my shade. This is my only con. This foundation is great as its water-resistant, smudge-proof ad long-wearing. Great product. It does cause me to break out though. This is not my everyday wear foundation

This foundation is my HG....and I am a foundation JUNKIE, so this is saying a lot. I have been using this for two years now and every time I try out another foundation, I always find myself coming back to this one. My skin type is normal (dryer in the winter, a little oiler in the summer) and this foundation looks exactly like my skin without the imperfections. The coverage is buildable. If you have a lot of imperfections you wish to cover up you may need something a bit heavier as this is more on the sheer side. The finish kind of matte, but not too matte. I would say a natural finish. I don't like foundations that dries too matte because it makes me look like I'm dead. It last all day long when used with a primer and setting powder. I've actually accidentally worn this without primer or powder and it still did just fine. If you are on the oily side make sure to use a setting powder. Oils will break through as the day progresses, and if you're dry you can skip the powder, or use powder but apply MAC fix + afterwards. The color I wear is caramel and it is a perfect match. The undertones in this are very yellow. The color match for me is one of the biggest reasons why this is my HG foundation. No other foundation matches as well as this one and the finish is very natural. I hope this helps!
This is by far my favorite drugstore foundation and I'd highly recommend it to anyone seeking an affordable yet good quality foundation.
Pros....
-Inexpensive considering you get a good amount of product.
-Medium, Buildable coverage.
-Lightweight and natural depending on the amount applied and how.
-Wide variety of shades and finishes to suit different people.
-Doesn't break me out or irritate my skin.
Cons......
-No Pump Included. I often find myself pouring out too much product onto my hand. If a pump was included it would make the process easier.
New favorite foundation. I have NC20 dry skin. I use the dry/normal formulation in Buff. If you use a sponge, you can get better coverage and it doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup. Doesn't cling to dry spots or look cakey. I find it quite hydrating as well. So awesome.
Really bummed about this. I bought it thinking it would be my HG foundation with all the hype, but instead I am returning it. With my dry skin it looked powdery and didnt have good enough coverage for me with the redness I have on my cheeks. :(
I have been using Revlon Colorstay (combination/oily) for a year now, and I can say, it is a HG foundation for me! I originally bought it because of all the rave reviews on Youtube and various websites, and decided to give it a try. I originally bought it in 200 Nude, but my local drugstore has mysteriously stopped offering it, so I bumped it up a shade to 220 Natural Beige. I was a little nervous about it, because I heard it is VERY heavy coverage, and I didn't want to look cakey, but I usually apply this using a damp sponge, and I can say, I get a flawless, even, natural finish. Also, with the sponge, I can get almost medium-full coverage, without the cakiness. I would say it is buildable, but for me, one layer is enough to make me look flawless. Colorstay has a natural-matte finish, with no shimmer to it. This generally lasts me for about 8 hours, and after that, the makeup starts to disappear. However, I'd much rather have it disappear than cake up. This keeps me pretty shine free for about 4-5 hours, until which I notice my forehead, nose, and chin have become a LITTLE shiny. I absolutely adore this foundation, and, unless they change the formula, will continue to use it. I recommend to anyone with combination-slightly oily skin. I won't give any advice to those with EXTREMELY oily skin, as I probably couldn't accurately review the product, but give it a try!

Let me just start out by saying, in all of my makeup wearing years, I was never able to find a foundation that didn't leave me looking oily after a hour. After a lot of failures from various high end and drug store foundations, came along Revlon Colorstay for oily/combo skin. For the first time in 20 some years, I can finally say I've found my perfect match (golden caramel 360). I can go 6-8 hours without blotting or feeling like my skin is suffocating. It blends beautifully without looking caked on. I suffered a lot from acne in my teenage years which left me with scars on my cheeks. I know I'll never truly achieve having flawless looking skin but this foundation makes me feel beautiful and love my skin like never before.
well i tried this and i love it!!
it doesnt get me oily in the 8-hour work day so am pretty please and it has great coverage :)

First of all, I put off buying this foundation because I'd read so many mixed reviews on it. The bad reviews said it was cakey and hard to blend and the good reviews were all about full coverage and staying power - which isn't really what I want in a foundation.
(I prefer a medium coverage and a natural finish)
Before trying this foundation, I swear I have tried every foundation, from high end ( Chanel, Givenchy, Bobbi Brown, Armani, YSL, Clinique, MAC, - you name it, really, I've tried it ) to low end.
Pretty much every foundation there is, I have tried and NOTHING has come close to being as good as this.
I think application is really important; I moisturise my skin and let it sink in then stipple a small amount at a time with a damp sponge, and I get an even, natural, medium coverage face.
I have very fair skin, with a lot of redness, acne scarring, large pores and occasional breakouts. I also have quite dry skin which gets oily through the day, but I find this foundation does not cling to any dryness, It doesn't get patchy or cakey, it doesn't need touch-ups throughout the day, and it stays a nice satin, skin-like finish until I take it off with a makeup cleanser.
The shade range is amazing, the fairest one matches me perfectly, it's so much cheaper than a lot of the foundations I have frankly wasted my money on, I use the oily/combo formula even with slightly drier skin and after a month I have had no breakouts or problems from it and I think it is my HG foundation from now on.
I dont even have a problem in photos with flashback (probably since my whole body is so white to begin with haha)
But I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone who hasn't tried it - just make sure you moisturise and try it with a damp sponge :)
I love you Revlon(tm) :)
I hope this is helpful to anyone on the fence about trying it out x
