Would buy this again - but I hope I don't have to! The quality is amazing for the price. It is great for liquid foundation and very, very easy to clean. I LOVE this brush!!
This is great for applying liquid foundation, as it really buff and blend the foundation in. I find this type of brush so much better to work with than the average Mac #190 brush, which easily turn streaky on me. With the F80, this is never a problem. Foundationapplication has never been quicker and better looking!
I heart this brush! If I had to choose one brush for my face and one brush only, it would be the Sigma F80. I love using it to apply and buff out my BB cream. It's amazing. My makeup used to always appear cakey on me but now it looks great!
I just made my second purchase last week. Strangely I like my first F80 more than my second. My second one feels a bit flimsy whereas the first is sturdier. However, I totally recommend this brush! I don't own any MAC face brushes so I can't say how these compare but for $16, this is a great brush!

Application of foundation with this brush is pretty much fool-proof- it just blends into your skin so easily and seamlessly. Amazing with MUFE HD. I do find that this brush does absorb a lot of product due to its super-dense nature, but this problem can be reduced if you dot your foundation all over your face instead of squirting onto your hand and dipping directly with the brush. I was impressed with this brush's quality as my past purchases from Sigma have been less than satisfying. I have yet experienced any shedding with this brush, although it does take at least a day to dry. And random note, I seriously don't know if this counts as a flaw, but the wooden handle reeks of cheap Crayola wood, but I find it nostalgic :)
The F80 is a really good brush for buffing in foundation. I did find that it holds a lot of product after using it about 3 times and the foundation starts to apply streaky. Definitely have to wash every 3rd use or so depending on what kind of foundation you're using.
I use Revlon Colorstay with it and it works well but I tried it out with MAC mineralized satinfinish and actually thought it looked terrible. I prefer a traditional flat brush for that. Go figure.
So it's also hard to wash long-wearing foundation out because the bristles are so densely packed (just something to note).
I used to use the flat top Costco brush (the one with the duo fiber look) for foundation but the F80 is much better. It's better than the ELF powder brush too in my opinion. But, the ELF doesn't retain much product so you can get a bit more use out of it before washing. The Costco and ELF brushes don't compare, but they're definitely a budget friendly alternative that still work well (I still use these when my F80 is dirty or drying). I would buy again but not right now because $16 still isn't chump change (it's still probably one of Sigma's better values though).
This brush lost one fiber (I've been using it for 5 months) that I actually pulled out with tweezers because it was sticking up higher than the rest.
I only have 2 sigma brushes and this one turned out to be great. The E25 (MAC 217 supposed dupe) is pretty floppy, relatively thin, and splays out everywhere.

This brush is LOVE! It blends in my liquid foundation (I use Lancome Teint Miracle) pretty flawlessly and makes my skin look amazing. It is super dense which requires a little more effort to drag it across my face (if that makes sense). But also because it's dense, I feel that I don't need as much foundation to cover my entire face.
For $16 this brush is definitely a steal compared to other MAC or Sephora brushes. Plus, it works better than all the other ones! I bought this along with the other 2 Sigmax brushes and liked the F84 for blush. As for the F82, I haven't yet found a good way to use it.
Before discovering the F80, I used the Sephora #55 airbrush and thought that brush was amazing. But after using this, I totally regretted getting the airbrush for like $44 CAD. Not that the airbrush was bad, but the F80 is only 1/3 of the price and is definitely a better value. So if you haven't, go order this brush now!!!

This brush is pretty close to perfect. I have not experienced any shedding yet (I've had it for about 6 months), and it blends my Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation (liquid) very nicely. I would repurchase this.

I love this brush! The brush is so soft and dense and applies liquid foundation perfectly. I stipple on the liquid foundation and then go over it in circular motions. It doesn't take long to apply foundation when you use this brush, and it does a really good job! I would recommend this foundation brush, and it's not expensive!
