This product performs just about as well as your common drugstore liquid liners. It's not as black or as matte as designer brand liquid liners, but if you're not picky, it does the job. My biggest gripe about this product is that it takes a long time to dry. This may be because the applicator sometimes gets goopy because the product can clump together on it and cause you to put way too much on. You have to wipe it on the back of your hand a little before. Still, it takes a little longer to dry. It's an average liquid liner.
I bought this in Black and Teal. For some reason they came with 2 different applicators. The one in the black was a very thin and fine brush which made it go on nice and easy, didn't look bad, very black. The teal was a whole different story! The applicator is this weird, thick, hard sponge thing. Every time I've tried to use it, it doesn't really work out too well because it wipes the middle off as you're applying it and you end up with 2 lines with a gap in the middle. If it had a better brush, I think I would have really liked it...
I would buy the black one again but I wouldn't even bother trying any of the other colors.
Absolutely am not in love with this. I hate the silver liner so much. It doesn't even stay on my eyelid. It literally falls off and ruins my makeup. I've only tried the silver one, and I'm planning on never trying the black or brown, because it might apply poorly onto my eyelid again.
So. Much. Fail. It was so watery that when I touched the brush to my lashline, the liner ran immediately into my eye. That was not fun. So after crying murky grey tears, I cleaned up the mess and tried again. I managed to not dye my eyeball that time but the line was blotchy, grey-ish and watery. It wasn't worth the $1.
This is okay...I don't like the brush though and the color is a bit watery. It's dirt cheap though...but Almay liquid eyeliner is not much more and definitely my favorite cheap liquid eyeliner. The packaging looks bad, but the applicator allows for precision and the color is dark and stays.
I know this is only a dollar...but there's still really no point in getting it especially if you use liquid eyeliner regularly.
I really like this eyeliner. The brush is easy to work with, not too big or too small. The color is good, sometimes i have to go over it twice to make sure its completely black. For one dollar, i love this stuff and ill get it again I'm sure!
this product is a definite no-no for my oily skin. it wouldnt even last for half an hour and it doesnt even dry off quick enough. a permanent marker wouldve done a better job than this one. and if it rains or snows or humid outside, then this will just drain on the face like a scary ghost makeup
Well, since I'm a teen on a budget, I've been looking for cheap make-up, & generally, e.l.f. hasn't let me down. I love their eyeshadow & other types of eyeliners. I bought this the other day, & it was only $1, so I figured I wasn't out much if it was crap. & at first I thought it was total crap, but after experimenting, it's not too bad. It's not too good, either, but I'll use up the bottle, & then find another. The trick is to not get a lot on the brush at a time. Start with your inner corner, & with the hand not holding the brush, pull your eye down just a little, & put it on slowly. I wouldn't recommend more than 2 coats. If you put too much on at a time, it's all runny. I've experimented quite a bit, & after about 300 tries, I think I've figured out a good technique. Not too much, & small strokes. It's actually not all that bad, but once I finish the bottle, I'm going to find a different kind.
Uhh not the best eyeliner in the world. I'm glad it was just a dollar. Their eyeliner was watery and the brush was crappy. I think that's enough said.
I was trying to find a cheap decent liquid eyeliner, and I came across this. It was only one dollar, so it wasn't much of a loss, but it was close to the worst makeup product I have bought so far. The brush is awful, it is too thick and hard to get it where you want it.
