I wanted a well priced peel-off mask and this ticks those boxes. It spreads fairly easily, gives a cooling sensation, dries evenly and is great fun to peel. But I agree with other reviewers who note that it is not effective at deep cleansing. Whilst it doesn't irritate my skin (though I find the smell during application to be eye-wateringly harsh and chemically), it does nothing positive for it either. My skin looks and feels exactly the same as before use. I'd say only get this for the fun peel-off factor, but don't expect cleansed/purified/improved skin from it.
A nice refreshing peel off mask. It feels really cool and refreshing on my face. (Yes, I have it on right now.) I first used it at a spa slumber party and since have indulged a few times. It simply softens your face and gets some of those oils removed, but I've never removed any blackheads with it. The consistency is thick and sticky, but that's not bothersome to me. The smell is cool and nice with touches of that awful fake cucumber Nair smell. That chemical odor is very faint though so it doesn't bother me. Overall, it's a good fun mask that will leave your face feeling healthy and not too oily.
I really like this product. It didn't get rid of my acne but it didn't make me break out either. My skin feels really soft when i peel off the mask & i like that feeling :)
It's a great price, $4 for a big bottle that lasts a pretty long time and it smells nice too. I will buy it again :)
I'm definitely not raving about this peel-off mask. I will say it does not cause me to break out, which I find to be a major plus, but on the other hand, it does not do much of anything. The peeling off is fun, but in terms of my skin I see almost no difference except for a short while after I use it my face will feel slightly softer. It is very cheap... I think about $3.49. If you just want to treat yourself to an inexpensive mask once and a while to relax, this could be a good one. If you are looking for a real improvement in your skin, I would recommend the Freeman Avocado and Oatmeal Clay Mask.
Not the greatest facial mask i've ever tryed but afterall i only bought it for the peel off effect. i don't feel like it really gets the dirt out of my pores but it does leave my face feeling tingly and clean. be sure not to get it stuck in your hair line or eyebrows because it hurts BAD trying to get it out. other then that if your looking for a "fun" peel off mask this would be it. if you want something that will deep clean you should look elsewhere.
Not a good peel-off mask if you're looking for something that gets down deep. Removes surface dirt and oils. (At least for me.) Was really fun peeling it off, which is why I bought it in the first place. Pretty cheap. It's nice. I loved the cooling sensation I got as it dried. It's pretty hot in the house and the mask really cooled me down with a fresh, clean cucumber scent to boost. I have to agree that it would be better with a pump. Really, really gooey and sticky, especially messy trying to get it out.
Good for relaxing and a soft face.
Bad for deep cleansing.
Not a bad peel off mask if you enjoying the peeling process of it. I personally anticipate the peeling of the mask because it feels so good. In terms of improving skin or removing gunk, I feel like this didn't do much, it leaves the skin soft for a while but nothing that will ultimately improve skin. Overall, it's an okay mask which for me was fun purely for peeling. If you are looking for a peel mask that heavily removes dirt/or improve overall skin then I DON'T recommend this one.
I like the convenience of just peeling off the mask rather than having to wash it off. This mask is tingly when you have it on. It doesn't do much to improve my skin appearance but I guess I just like the feeling of having it on while i'm lounging around the house.
What a deal! The only other peeloff mask I've ever used is St. Ives Hydroxy, so that's all I compared it to. The "goopy" consistency I was used to. It stung a little at first, but that soon subsided, and I really enjoyed the cooling and slightly tingling feeling I felt. I also rather enjoyed the cucumber smell. I was NOT a fan of how, even when dry, was still coming off in tiny pieces as opposed to actually peeling off. BUT, it did eliminate the breakout along my jawline, and I noticed an immediate difference in my skin. It looked and felt hydrated and moisturized, and looked and felt very soft & smooth.
I just bought this product at safeway for about 3.49. Considering it was that cheap i had to buy it because i have always wanted to try facial masks. When first applying yes it is thick and makes your skin shiny but once you take it off i think it is quite lovely. I think my skin feels revitalized and really clean. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes and it comes off in one piece.
