I am so insanely happy with this palette! I am a teenager so i dont have drawers and drawers of makeup. I dont even own that many eyeshadow's with the exception of a few mac ones, a couple of drugstore shadows and the urban decay show pony palette. I have basically been stalking this palette since October and I finally got it a few weeks ago and i must say I LOVE IT! Its all ive been using and i adore it, i can do a natural eye look or kick it up a notch and go darker. Anything u need or want in a natural eyeshadow palette you will find in this one. Another thing is the price, although it looks expensive its not, the actual eyeshadows in this palette are full size and the retail value of it is $204 and we are getting it for $48! One last thing, one mac quad with just 4 mac full sized eyeshadows is around $50 as well which is crazy because the naked palette gives you 8 more for your money!! Bottom line it this palette is amazing any way you choose to look at it.

A really great palette. I love all the colors and the quality of the shadows are amazing. Every combination that I try is truly fabulous. One just has to have a light hand during application because of the fallouts and the pigmentation (which is absolutely great btw). I remember when this make up first came out I think spring/summer of 2010. I was so obsessed at getting this palette that we even have to go to 4 different states(Penn,MD,NY and NJ) and raided the Ulta and Sephora there back in August 2010 just to look for this palette, the search nearly drove me crazy. I was so disappointed going home to Toronto without this sought-after palette. But low and behold, around late Nov. /Early Dec., a local Sephora called me to say that they have limited quantity in their store and I was next on the wait list. I have to ask my poor husband to come get it for me since I was at work and won't be off until after the store closes for the day. But I got the palette. The dual-ended eyeliner was indeed a bonus, but I wasn't too impress with them , they are just okay. The mini primer potion is also a good thing to have so i can take it with me when I travel but since I have dry skin, I am more of a TFSI kind of gal. The packaging is cute but can get dirty easily and because of the length of the palette, I don't think that it is that Ideal for travelling. But if you have to go somewhere where you have do look really good and made-up and that you can only bring one make-up palette then this would be it. Highly recommended. Though the new ones now come with a brush instead of liners.
I love the Naked Palette!!!!!!! I bought this from my local Sephora in November 2010 for $44. Its such a great value all of the colors are wearable from day to night and creating looks is very easy!!The eyesahdows are super blendable and the texture is very smooth. The 2 eyelines are great very pigmented and very smooth and creamy. The Urban Decay Naked Palette is Love :)

First I should say I am a bit biased because I do not wear eye shadow on a regular basis, I tend to wear kajal smudged, blush, powder and foundation and lip stick and lip liner, so eye shadow for me is a novelty, but I do like this product, all bit it a bit over hyped. I would not purchase again because I can't ever imagine wearing enough eye shadow to go through it and the colors are more like a basic wardrobe for me not anything totally unique. I brought it to start wearing eye shadows and going for a more sophisticated makeup look with a nude lip color and polished face this does the job. The shadows are a bit on the shimmery side for me but that's alright I am trying to wear more color on my tan skin and not just nude lipstick and blush all the time. So if you are looking to build your eyeshadow collection this is a good place to start otherwise there are better colors out there.
Yep, another 5 lippie review for what possibly is the best palette ever made. Everyone wears neutrals at some point in thier life. It is a must have! I do wish there was another matte or satin or 2 instead of a couple of the highly frosty ones, and the brush is not very effective, I do wish they still sold it with the eyeliners and the 24/7's are UD's crown jewel. But you get the most gorgeous looks out of this kit and the shadows are high quality and blend to perfection. I use my own brushes and instead of the UDPP, which is great, I have been wearing too faced's candlelight TFSI. It is a perfect compliment to the colors in this kit. My favorite is to use virgin on the browbone, naked on the lid and one of the darker colors blended out well in the crease with too faced's pink leopard as a blush and saint germain dabbed on the lip lightly topped with BE Buxom gloss in Zena. Oh and bourbon eyeliner on the top lid only. It makes me feel so pretty and it looks very natural pretty not made up pretty. Perfect for the office.
UPDATE 7/1/11 - I am sorry, but I have to bring this down to a less than stellar rating (2 lippies). Honestly, I have to force myself to use this. And when I do use it, I am never satisfied with how it looks. The colors always seem to be muddy. My MAC, WnW, and NYX shadow collections work so much better for me. As far as a wash/neutral, I much prefer Patina, Femme Fi, Ricepaper, Vanilla, NYX Vanilla Sky, NYX Taupe, etc to any of these. Same for the bronze look, MAC Bronze and Woodwinked look so much better on me and do more for me than the bronze shades in the palette. MAC Coquette is still one of the best crease colors. And I always have to use one of my other shadows for a highlight, cuz there is nothing neutral enough to work as a highlight on me in this palette (Virgin comes off grey & chalky). That said, everything I said in my first review still holds true (especially about how well the colors ebb and flow). And I can not bring myself to return this, just having it makes my lemmings feel "satisfied". I dropped it down to 2 lippies since I barely ever use it.
ORIGINAL POST: Here is what no one seems to have mentioned before (or I had not read) about this palette. If you have been buying e/s forever trying to get the eye look as awesome as some of the FOTD's...hoping that next shadow will give you that perfectly applied, smoothly blended, well coordinated eye look...this is THE e/s (palette) that does that. At first swatch of the colors, I was not impressed. I have these colors; I have better than these colors. I am not going to argue that point. But once I started applying and combining...that is when the magic started to happen. These colors seem to work seamlessly together. I have tried 3-4 different combos since I bought this. Presently I have Gunmetal over the lid, Creed in the crease and Sidecar (wet) over top of Gunmetal. It looks like the best applied makeup of my life. I wish I was going out. You have heard about the "great colors", the great "convenience"...for me the best part is how well the shadows ebb & flow with each other. And if you are low on eyeshadows or need a travel kit, this is a great contender. continued >>

There is a reason this is such a must-have cult item -- it's an incredibly versatile collection of beautiful, high quality colors. If you're not happy with shimmer and glitter, there won't be enough mattes in the box for you, but if you do swing that way, it's an impressive range of colors and textures. It's going to take me months to work through all the possible combinations and looks you could do with this one box.
Good staying power, especially over UDPP.

i love this palette!! it is very pigmented, very smooth, and very easily blended. the colors are very nice. if you want the ultimate neutral palette this is it.
Oh. My. God. I think I just died.
This is going to be YET another stellar review of the Naked palette so if you're looking for something to curb your longings then look away, friend, look away.
Let's get the negative over with first.
The palette itself is in a brown velvet case with gold lettering. The only thing with the brown velvet is that it collects dust a lot and if it gets wet, it takes positively ages to dry. I do my makeup in the bathroom (it's the biggest mirror I have and the Naked mirror doesn't cut it) and it often gets wet or dusty or both, which is frankly HELL. If UD made Naked the same way they made the BLACK palette, that would be so much better.
The shadows inside are typical UD formula -- they're silky soft and "obedient," as I like to call them -- easy to blend when required, staying put when required. On my dark skin, the light mattes look slightly chalky, but apart from those two or three I can manage to make everything work and so can my reasonably lighter-skinned friends.
What I love about this palette is that you can be as intricate as you want with your looks -- hell, put Gunmetal in the crease if you want! but you'll still look effortlessly made-up, minimalistically classy even if you're just using one shade or five.
GET. THIS. PALETTE. It's amazing, a great value and definitely an awesome addition to anyone's kit.

I finally got this palette after being on the waiting list for months. I was afraid that it wouldn't be worth the hype, but it really is. Since I received it, I haven't used any other eye shadows. The colors are fantastic- I can get whatever look I want for day or evening.
If you're wondering if this palette is as good as it's hyped to be, the answer is a resounding YES!
