I have such problems with eyeliners smudging on my lower lashline. From high end to low end and the 24/7 pencils have gotten such incredible reviews. I got one as a Christmas gift. I was impressed with the easy of application and how incredibly black this liner is. However it just does not stay on my rims or below my lashline. It wears out at the corners first and then it is all downhill after that. My Revlon Colorstay and Styli-Style black pencils stay longer than this. I hate to part with it due to how deep and dark black it is : - (
Love this eyeliner. Applies very easily, stays on and looks like a fluid, also the black is VERY black. Stays put on the waterline as well. I repeatedly come back to this eyeliner. I usually use Lancome's Artliner, but they are so expensive and run out way too fast.
I wasn't impressed with this...It's not worth the hype IMO. It's TOO soft. So soft that I can't get a nice, even line. It also smudges and doesn't last any longer than any other mediocre pencil. I reach for much cheaper pencils over this one. It's not bad...just okay. Not worth the $$.
I was really disappointed with this. I wanted to use it for my water line (for tightlining) but it smears and smudges.
HG! lasts all day, doesn't tug at delicate eye area. rich black color and so EASY TO APPLY. makes every other eyeliner I've tried seem like garbage. even stays put on my lower lash line. A MUST BUY! I've found that this formula is perfect for the waterline.
EDIT- this is still my HG for the waterline. There is some transfer to my upper lids however. This combined with MUFE Aqua Eyes is my perfect e/l combo.
This is a very long-wearing liner. Worn without primer, it does smudge, but worn with the urban decay potion primer on eyes, it doesn't smudge at all. It also doesn't wash off, with or without primer. I have to use waterproof makeup remover, which I'm typically too lazy to do, so this is my "special makeup" eyeliner! Goes on really smoothly, in fact so easily that it's easy to accidentally put it where you don't want it to go!
I've only had this for a few days so I will edit my review once I've tried this a few more times. For now though:
I wanted a pencil I could line my eyes with but this is too creamy and smudges all underneath my eyes like crazy. The line isn't precise, clumps inbetween my lashes and is really hard to wash off. I love UD's Smoke Out Pencil but don't like how it tugs the skin and isn't an intense black like this one is. However this might be great to use in the waterline and not for lining around the eyes. I'm going to try it for a few more days before I decide whether to return it or not. As for now I wouldn't buy again. And it annoyed me when I saw the price of the pencil on sephora.com is I think $15 USD but when I went to buy it at the store (in Toronto, canada) it came to $25 (CAN) with tax. :/
Wow! I am not usually an eyeliner person for everyday, but this is because I have a hard time applying it as with EVERY other eyeliner I've used (yes, MAC too) you have to pull the skin around the upper eye tight to apply, then when I release it just doesn't look right. What I love about this, is I can actually apply it with ease! It goes on smoother than anything else I've tried. Not only that, it smudges GREAT. And, when it dries, it stays put all day! Outperforms all other eyeliners in those areas. I want them all now! The only area where I have found it is not all that impressive is lining the waterline. It seems to "wash out" of that area. But this isn't something I do all that often anyway, so by all means not a deterrent to me. I'll never struggle with applying a fluidline again!
This eyeliner is fantastic, it stays on all day without smudging. The black is a highly pigmented true black. I can't wait to try more colors.
i was SO DISAPPOINTED with this product. i have been a fan of ud since its inception and i tried this eyeliner on my hand and it didnt smudge, but did fade off if i put lotion on or rubbed it. i waited forever for ulta to get this in stock and it SMEARED AND SMUDGED on my crease!!! even if the pencil was super sharp, and i would wait a few seconds to blink, it would transfer on to my crease after blinking a few times. it sucked, it seems like no eyeliner stays on without smudging except for some liquid eyeliner's i've tried like ud soot, mark cleo and mary kay black. i tried victorias secret liquid eyeliner and it smudged immedietely as well. awful!! the other ud liners lucky and honey that i tried have also smudged on me. maybe its my oily skin...so sad...maybe i will try with a primer...if any one has tips for non smearing eyeliner, let me know! thx
