Definitely a full coverage concealer and I love it! It doesn't crease or cake up and that is always a plus. On days where I don't want to use foundation I pump this once onto my moisturizer and voila........A tinted moisturizer!! I will be repurchasing this bad boy again once I run out.
I'm not that fond of this product at all.
pro: it lasts a really long time, all day long, no matter what you do.
cons:
- it feels tight and heavy (note: I have a sensitive skin when it comes to putting things like foundation and concealer on my skin) , even when I first used a really good moisturizing eye cream it just dried and felt unpleasant to wear.
- it dries quickly so not easy to blend => it's better to just pat it on with the finger
- it becomes a bit darker after a while so when finding you shade, just wait before purchasing :p
- the pump is frickin' annoying, it always sprays too much so you kind of waste a big part every time, bt yeah you can solve that with an extra jar.
- it didn't look natural on me, might also be because it wasn't the right shade, but to kind of has a grayish hue on me
Update 6 months later: I have to say that this works really good for thé under eye area. I mix the NW15 and NW20 to get the right shade for my awful undereye circles. I prefer this over thé Bobbi Browns concealer, cause this does not CREASE!!
And this feels light, easy to apply and less heavy and greasy compared to many other concealers with almost thé same coverage. (Even if I think this is a medium coverage concealer, you can reapply/add some more if you need to, and still it doesn't feel heavy).
Overall, I'm really satisfied, especially for everyday use!! The reason I didn't gave this 5 stars is cause I wish it'd have a little more coverage and a more highlighting effect/be more "shiny"...but maybe it's impossible to combine this with such a staying power and avoid creasing at the same time? :)
Old, previous review: I'm not convinced about this... First of all, I went to Mac cause I have really hard to find the right shades/colours... I also have sensitive, but " troubled" skin, which makes it hard to find good working foundations/concealers...
So I read a lot about the longwear concealer and tried it in the lightest shade (i'm a NW/NC 15 mostly), and mainly under my eyes, (cause i'm looking for something better for that area)... This concealer is better than the Mineralize concealer, BUT it is not concealing enough even if it in the start feels really thick to work with...when you apply it...it feels att little "greasy" and thicky in some way...still it doesn't cover that much...
Compared to for example Magic Concealer (Helena Rubinstein) this one is more matte...it looks a little more dry on the skin, and the con becomes that you can se the lines around the eyes a little more than... It reminds a little about Effacernes (Lancome) - they both have the "matte" look, and are very naturals looking, BUT are not that covering if you take a look in the daylight (now I'm comparing with Everyday minerals that I usually use)... This concealer is hard to "build up" cause it is a cream...when you have applied it, it's hard to put 2 layers more... This is a con compared to loose makeup, that is usually buildable...
I also feel that it changes colour during the day...I don't know what this is called, but I've heard of it...so the areas are a little darker in the end of the day...
I don't think that this concealer is better than any other I've tried, so I wont repurchase...
This product did not work well for me. My skin is pale, with a combination of dry and oily parts, and lots of little red spots from past acne breakouts. This concealer was cakey and drying on my cheeks, and within half an hour of applying had turned a strange orange colour that made me look ridiculous. It also didn't provide the amount of coverage that I was after.
Love this product. It is hands down the best concealer I have ever used. It def beats out estee Lauder double wear concealer and any clinique concealer. It can also be used as a foundation. I could layer this stuff all day and it would never be cakey but covers anything that needs to be covered. Overall great product and it comes with a pump. What a clean non bacterial concealer instead of those little spongey tip things. I wear a 15 in Mac foundation and a 20 in their concealer if this might help.

I have a love/hate relationship with this.. I love its coverage but it dries super fast, that being said, when you're applying it you MUST be fairly quick or it'll dry up in that specific spot you placed it on. (for ex: i contour with it and if i dont blend it fast enough i'll have a huge white blob i cant get rid of) i use NC20, im fairly light skinned, i have tried over products and i usually stick to this concealer or Lancome's.. i'm always sleep deprived so i MUST conceal and these 2 are my go-to prouducts.. but i still havent found my HG :( cheers!!
My FAVOURITE concealer! This product has the perfect medium to full coverage without creasing, which means you can use it on blemishes as well as under your eyes, which not all concealers have the power to do. The semi-matte finish is perfectly blendable and suits every client and skintype. I cannot live without this product!
I like the MAC Pro Longwear concealer. I actually don't even have to set it with powder. It does not cake up on me. I do not have time for touch-up throughout my day at work, so it is nice I can trust this concealer to stay in place. I like how the NC50 concealer is a lot warmer than the NC50 Studio Sculpt so that it would compliment each other without doing makeup math in your head about what would fit best. For example, for a NC50, the MUA matched me to a NW40 Mineralize Concealer. (Which i don't like as much as the Pro Longwear concealer.
To be honest though, the MUA taught me to mix the highlighter pen in Bright Forecast with this concealer...I loved the glowed-out/Kim K. look so much, I've never worn this concealer alone!
As far as packaging goes, it is blahhh. it is very hard, maybe impossible to keep the pump from getting messy. As you use the product, the bottle does not empty gracefully. I want my makeup to look pretty even if it's half full. Maybe MAC could of frosted out the bottle a little. But I don't think I waste too much product with this design.
Overall: I'm semi-new to the concealer world, but I have had a good experience with the Pro Longwear concealer. It is worth a try,if you are on the market for a long lasting concealer.
I just purchased this concealer and so far I have to say I'm really liking it. When the girl behind the MAC counter first put it on me I wasn't convinced but I still bought it and i'm very glad I did. A little goes a long way with this foundation i use half a pump for both of my under eye circles and it covers them beautifully it does not crease if you BLEND it. I did take off a lippie because the pump can be a pain in the butt, i try to do half a pump but sometimes a whole pump comes out which is a waste.
I really hated this concealer. My skin is considered normal and this made it look overly dry and flaky although I never look like that. The packaging is a disaster- one pump and you have way to much concealer and nothing to do with it. It dries up instantly so its not like you can save it somewhere for another use. Way too expensive and I could not justify the price for something that made my under eyes look cakey. Also, it oxidized by the end of the day. Returned.
