I love this foundation...and this is coming from someone that has literally 14 different brands of foundation in my makeup drawer. I don't know the color I have right off hand, but it goes on so smooth and lasts all day. I LOVE the moisturizing strip with it although I was a little concerned since I'm more oily these days. I do use MK oil mattifier underneath this, and am very impressed. I will definitely buy again.

I am just SO lucky the drug store reimbursed me for this dog of a product!
I had no idea that the colour I chose would be so light and pale once it mixed with the white streak in the pan.
Of course, Cover Girl had NO testers. Too cheap, I guess or purhaps they feared people would not buy it once they tried it.

What a waste of my time. What a poor product. No way you can balance out the white streak vs creme foundation at all so its very uneven.

AVOID this.

I love this foundation! I never liked wearing any since all of the foundations I've tried made my skin feel dirty, decided to give this one a try and I'm so glad I did. It goes on smooth and it stay all day long without the dirty feeling, It matches my skin perfectly (got it in Classic Beige) and is mosturizing, doen't feel like you have anything on. I do have an oily t-zone but with a little powder to set the foundation the problem is solved! Will buy again.

I purchased this product two days ago. I was hesitant because it's been a while since I bought a foundation by Cover Girl, mainly because in years past their color selection has been HORRIBLE but they finally realized not all women are "pink" and came out with some golden tones. So, kudos to CG for that. As for this product - I like it so far. I'm in my mid 40's and my skin is changing and this product covers well w/out being too heavy and provides a really soft, nice finish on me. I bought the warm beige and am glad because after reading reviews, almost everyone said they needed a shade darker than what they got (it goes on lighter than it looks in the container). When I first opened it, I thought "this is way too dark" but surprisingly it matches my skin tone very well. The packaging is kind of awkward - you have to unscrew the container to get to the product so it comes apart in 2 pieces, then the sponge is under a flip open lid on one side. But, nothing I can't live w/out considering I'm pretty happy with the product. I used the Advanced Radiance (also by CG) pressed powder over it in Classic Beige and it looks nice as well. Although I'm not sure if the foundation even requires a powder because it kind of dries to a powdery finish. I think after all these years I have the mind set that I "have to" set my foundation with powder. Any thoughts/advice on this? Anyway, liking the product so far and definitely recommend for those who are "getting older", maybe late 30's into 40's - not sure how it would do on young skin.

Let me get this out of the way before I forget. DO NOT wear this if you are going anywhere that will cause you to sweat profusely. For instance...an outdoors concert in the middle of summer... I made that mistake and it literally looked like my face was melting off of my skull.

Now, for EVERY DAY use, in normal conditions, I give this foundation quite a bit of credit. While it may not have the moisturizing properties it claims to have, it's coverage and staying power rivals that of the most expensive department store foundations. I have been experimenting with mac and estee lauder in comparison to this foundation, and the only advantages they have over simply ageless is moisture. This is almost frustrating considering how much more expensive mac and estee lauder foundations are in comparison to this drugstore foundation.
Anyway, like I said coverage and staying power of simply ageless is impressive.

I've found that if I use a wedge sponge, rather than the circular stock sponge that it comes with, I get more even coverage. Also, if I PAT instead of SPREAD, it will not streak and I don't have to use concealer after applying. I suffer from horrid dark circles....this blew me away.
I do have sensitive skin, and I have not experienced any foundation-induced blemishes. I have set this with a range of powders, despite the fact that it doesn't really settle into the lines under my eyes (I just don't want to take the chance). Since the coverage is so nice, I wouldn't bother with an actual powder foundation to settle, just your average-grade drugstore transluscent powder will do the trick. I've been using maybelline's dream matte powder. Cheap and gets the job done.

Lastly, packaging. I feel like every compact should come with a mirror, and this does not. So...meh. But, I've made adjustments. I leave my sponge in the bottom with the foundation, and I actually put a pair of bobby pins and some small tweasers for my eyebrows in the top compartment where the sponge is supposed to go. Laugh if you must, but I think it's pretty genius. This comes in handy because I have lost many pins and tweasers to the black hole that is my purse.

All in all, a would-be HG foundation, if just a little more moisture was included.

I almost broke my hand trying to open the container for starters. I had to bang it on the wall a few times to get the cover to loosen up and open.

The first time I tried this without moisturizing or primer, applied it with my fingers, it went on and instantly felt cakey. I am the palest of pale, and even the lightest shade in this foundation came out looking clownish-white on me, although I kept trying. About ten minutes went by, and my pores have soaked the product in and are showing like crazy, something that has never happened to me before. It felt very heavy. I washed it off and surprisingly it didn't come off as easy as any other foundation I have ever used, I literally felt like I had to scrub it off, and as a result my face was red and tingly. It was strange.

I tried this again a couple more times, with a sponge. I used primer and moisturizer, and although it went on a little easier, the same thing happened, and I ended up washing it off completely and tossing it.

LOVE this foundation. From the slight coolness when it goes on to the coverage and the feel, this is one of my new favorites.

Update 10/12: I'm knocking this down a lippie because it sometimes has the tendency to break on my skin - but for cream foundation on oily skin, I'm not shocked. I'll try it again this winter and see how it works.

My sister introduced me to this, and I absolutely love the product. It was easy to find my shade and the price was very cheap compared to the usual makeup I use. It goes on quite smoothly and doesn't wear off throughout the day. I was also pleased to notice that it doesn't cause breakouts and personally, I found my skin looked healthier and gave me a glow. As long as you use less than you think you need, it doesn't look like a cake mess and doesn't rub off. Once you figure out how to apply it properly for your skin, it is amazingly brilliant. One tip I do have is to use a light amount of powder before you apply and after during the summer or if you have oily skin.

thick, dry feeling, cakey, nothing good to say about this product. I looked at it in store for a while, because of price, finally broke down and purchased. Very disappointed. Hate to throw it in trash, trying to use it up, but can't wait to be rid of it.

Ageless? It caked in my pores and fine lines. My skin felt taught and paste-like all day.
