Note: I have straight Asian lashes that are neither thick nor long. I don't use waterproof mascaras.

What makes this mascara one of my HG products (along with CG Lash Blast and Maybelline Volume Express: Colossal) is the wand. The skinny applicator combined with the short bristles that aren't too close together makes Telescopic a really good lengthening and defining mascara. Though it doesn't volumize as much as Lash Blast and Colossal, it definitely lengthens a bit more. The Carbon Black formula adds to the drama and makes up for the lack of volume. As opposed to L'oreal Voluminous, Telescopic neither smudge nor flake. It holds my curl fairly well throughout the day (8-12 hours).

I love this mascara in terms of length. It makes my eyelashes SUPER long. I use it after I put a volume mascara on. It works very good for me but it is kind of pricey. I bought mine for about 10 dollars but it's worth it if u like long lashes(: I will repurchase when I run out for sure

So far this has been the best mascara I have used in terms of making my eyelashes look great (makes my eyelashes look longer slightly thicker and very dramatic) BUT, and this is why I've given it a 3, it smudges like crazy I'd only been wearing it for 2hrs and by the time I got home it had traveled about 1cm under my eyes making me look horrible (it wasn't hot, I hadn't been crying nor rubbing my eyes) and also this mascara irritated my eyes, I've never experienced this with a mascara before but whilst wearing this my eyes were stinging. I haven't trialed using a waterproof mascara on top yet to see if it stops this mascara migrating south but I'll update when I do, other then that I think I'll just save this for special occasions when I want to look great (with the price of constant touch up and stinging eyes lol).

This product is a bit too formula-y for my taste. The brush is cool, and I like the packaging, but the formula sticks all my lashes together and weighs them down. It's very "wet" and sticky. I have dug the tube out lately, though, and started using it as a mascara base. I just have to use an eyelash comb before it dries to separate all my lashes out before I add my second mascara.

Great mascara!

I got this for christmas last year, and my first impression was that it's just a cheap mascara with no effect. But impressions were wrong.. This one is fabulous! I use it everyday, because it gives my lashes great length and volume. It's also a very nice black colour. The brush is amazing, and it takes only seconds to apply. This mascara is also kind of cheap, so that's a plus. Usually I'm not into L`Oreal products, but as I said, this one is great. I will definitely buy this one again, because it's perfect for everyday use.

I'm not too crazy about this. Like most L'Oreal mascaras I've tried I just found this ok. The telescope packaging is cute and it is a very deep black like the name implies. The brush is a weird rectangular shape with tiny comb-like teeth. The formula is very wet and combined with the weird brush it makes quite a mess. I admit I am a messy mascara applier but this was worse than usual. It did leave my lashes long and soft but only after I brushed through them with a clean Lash Blast brush. I would not repurchase and I doubt I will finish my tube. For lengthening I much prefer Rimmel Lash Accelerator or Maybelline Lash Stilletto.

I loved this product! I bought it the other night after I read all these great reviews! It makes my lashes look so much longer. If you slowly apply, it separates each lash. I love it. So much less clumping then these other brands. The little wand its so skinny, and I love it! I will make sure to stock up on this mascara, just in case they stop selling it. If you want a great mascara, this is the one for you!

I love this mascara! The first time I used it, I was amazed. My eyelashes looked fake and I loved it. It is so easy to build length with Telescopic, and the skinny rectangular brush is wonderful. It wears well and I love how dark it is. I recently ran out and decided to try Voluminous Million Lashes to see how it compares, but it definitely does not lengthen my lashes the way Telescopic does. I will be repurchasing Telescopic very soon!

Long lashes that last and last!
Telescopic in Carbon Black is excellent for giving length!

I was a bit afraid to purchase this as I had tried the Voluminous Carbon Black and it smudged everywhere after 2 hours - not so with this one. Well, just a little toward the end of the day but nothing to really complain about. My day was spent outside in 90 degree heat with a decent humidity level of at least 60%.

Usually mascaras lose their power after a few hours and when I got home and checked the mirror, they still looked young, flirty and fresh, yes!

I don't even wear that much eyeliner anymore because this gives so much definition.

The wand was a bit tricky to get used to, but I got my round two-sided makeup mirror and angled it so I looked down at it and that technique works perfect.

While it washes off with soap and water, I agree with the user who also suggested to use a makeup remover to get it completely off.

Love, love LOVE!

Love this mascara. I keep like two or three so I don,t run out. I have very thin sparse lashes and people actually compliment me now on my lashes. I have used maybelline, clarins, and many others and this is the best!
