Finding a perfume these days is tricky. The market is constantly saturated and bombarded with scents every week it seems. I initially brought the roller ball from sephora and loved it. On my skin it had a kick and it lasted all day even a couple of days on my clothes. So I took the leap and brought the full size. I regret it because it smells live grass clippings and leaves. The hint of floral kick that I admired was no where to be found in the full size. 66 dollars down the drain.
First of I want to say that I wanted to love this. The bottle is really cute, the reviews were pretty good, and I am a sucker for flowers on anything.
Now, everyone seems to be saying here that its a weak scent that doesn't last, but I just sprayed this 2 hours ago and I can still smell it. Just 1 spray, on my cotton T-shirt, over the chest. And this isn't the first time using it either. I stopped using this a few months back because every time I would use it, it would give me a slight headache and thus make it impossible for me to concentrate on my day.
Also, every time I use this I get this weird feeling in the back of my throat. Like a lump in the back of my throat, and its never happened with my other perfumes before!
This smells like concentrated flowers and a lot of sugar in spray form. That's all I can think of.
I bought the Daisy Eau so Fresh because it doesn't smell as cloying as this one. Going to return this one, sadly.
For reference: I like floral, oriental, musk, scents, occasionally fruity ones.

A generic boring modern day fragrance which has a "yardley english lavender/lily of the valley vibe going for it" it is alright on some people but personally I hate the strawberry in it. A very apparent fragrance I can always smell it on the bus - people tend to over apply this as it is a subtle scent.

This is the first fragrance I've ever bought. I'm not one to wear fragrance much but decided that I should get one for those special nights out. Well, now I wear it everyday. I only use 1/2 - 1 squirt and rub it on my wrists, shoulders, elbows. Anymore than that and it is quite overwhelming for me (again, I don't wear fragrance normally). My boyfriend loooves it and so do I.
Marc Jacobs Daisy is an incredibly fresh yet floral perfume. It is not over poweringly floral which makes it a great day scent. However, for me personally, i find that this only lasts for about 2-3 hours which is annoying as it smells really nice and it is quite expensive so you would expect it to last longer. Overall, this fragrance is great for anyone who loves fresh floral perfumes which aren't overpowering but its not one of my favourite perfumes.
Very light, clean, classy scent, thats age appropriate i would say for anyone. As someone else mentioned this is their go to scent, it is for me as well, and all you need is two squirts and it lasts practially all day . Also im a sucker for packaging and the flower cap is like icing on a cake
Mmm, I love Daisy. It's my "everyday" scent, when I want to smell nice but don't want to take the time hemming and hawing over what scent matches my mood that day.
The first time I smelled this, I thought it was awful. A lady next to me in Sephora doused herself in it (they were featuring this fragrance when it first came out), and all I could smell was daisy and lots of dirt.
On me, this fragrance is great! I get lots of clean, but not tart, apple, incredibly light florals (I don't distinguish any separate floral notes; it's more like when you're standing outside and some light flower scents catch your attention on the breeze), and possibly some rose and strawberry in there. Very inoffensive and happy scent.
I've gotten lots of compliments on Marc Jacobs Daisy, some with really blissed out facial expressions from men, so I'd say it's a definite winner. Halfway through my bottle, and I will definitely repurchase.
A very subtle perfume. Not to my liking as I am more towards more noticeable fragrances (my body chemistry seems to eat all the subtle, soft smell in seconds!). Well, it might works on someone else. But definitely not me.
Edit: have given this perfume another try, still, it doesn't work on me. Sad.
This fragrance is very cute with the daisy cap. This is a floral scent but it's not strong. The scent is very light so if you are a person who gets headache from floral scent then this is probably a better choice for you if you are looking for a soft floral perfume to wear. I think this scent can be an everyday perfume, it's very classic and opening. This is great for summer and spring. On my skin, it last as long as 4 to 6 hours before it starts to fade or died down.
I like the original Daisy, the other flankers from this version are either too strong or not my taste. I don't think it's the best perfume out there but i do grab for it a lot, especially if i'm on the go or if i dont know what to wear that day.
I think this is quite nice: it's light and floral which is great for summer! However the fragrance doesn't last too long (I'd say about 2 hours) so you do have to re-spritz. Also, there's a slightly earthy hint to it which unfortunately put me off; I prefer the newer version Daisy 'Eau So Fresh' which is slightly sweeter and doesn't have the earthiness about it.
