I bought this brush about two weeks ago because the lady that worked at MAC told me I could use it for foundation powder, bronzing powder, and blush. But, it only really works for blush. Also, it hurts my face.. it's very rough and scratchy. I wouldn't recommend this brush.
Love this for setting powder or powder blush. Blends nicely, holds just the rigth amount of powder. Products seeps into the brush so that all of the product doesnt sit on the tip, which is nice so you dont over do it. My only con is that it sheds, not a whole lot but im guaranteed at least 2 or 3 little hairs on my face each time i use it. the little sucks are hard to get off! lol

So if you need a fanntastic blush brush, please do yourself a favour and go get this!!! It is quite possibly the best brush i have ever bought in my entire life. Fabulous long handle, super soft brissles, hold product phenomenoly, ahhh, ahhhhh, ahhhhhhhh i could go on and on. Its absaloutly the perfect brush. Yes, its pricy, but with the quality of this brush, it'll last you longer then one you'd spend less money on.
So, to sum it up, if your on the fence about getting it, maybe thinking, "oh, i could just get a cheaper one, i dont need a MAC brush..."
yes, you do :D

Oh MAC, how I love your brushes. Unfortunately, this one didn't blow me away. I only use this to apply blush, but something about this blush tends to deposit too much. No matter how many times i swipe it on my hand first, tap it on the edge of my sink, blow on the brush, I end up with a circle of blush, like those characters in the Nutcracker. But, with careful, time-consuming blending, I guess this brush is pretty good.
Shame on you, Mac, usually such quality and value, your NO. 129 bestseller is hairy, face-rough, and feels like buffing straw onto skin (although the 'hand-test' fooled me until I took it home). A spherical head, long handle, and and solid size is compromised by your goat hairs - too rough, too bristly - a disappointment. For my money, there's worthier, softer, skin-loving brushes out there.

This was my first MAC brush that I bought. I used to use it for everything on my face (powder, blush, bronzer) but now I only use it to apply my blush. You can use this brush for any type of powder on your face if your traveling and you don't want to bring all your brushes with you. I recommend this brush to anyone who is starting to buy makeup because it is multifunctional and is only $34 which isn't bad considering how much other MAC brushes cost. This brush does shed a little once in while but overall its worth it.
Great blush brush, goes on really well without strokes, blends really good with any color you apply it with!

This brush is almost too big for my cheeks for blush. Mines a bit rough too but the ones at the store are softer so maybe mines bad or I'm doing something wrong? This is perfect for applying face powder to smaller areas such as forhead, nose, chin (places you get oily in).
The 129 is the first MAC brush I bought. I use it for blush application, and it is perfect, it picks up the blush and fits perfectly on the apples of my chubby cheeks :-)
I did orginally use it for applying my MSF and didn't think it was very good for that. #129 is a better as a blusher brush.
Only one gripe really, it sheds, I've just cleaned mine and it has shed a lot of hairs, other than that is a very nice, soft brush. Worth the money I paid for it.
