So Love Lettuce is a really nice fresh face mask. It is pretty reasonably priced and it makes a great treat for my skin. It feels cold out of the fridge, which is the case for all fresh face masks, and goes on smoothly though it is this thick textured product. Like others have said after letting it dry and sit, I wet my face and exfoliated with the mask which was lovely and gentle. It also removes easily. Afterwards, my skin felt slightly tight, but only slightly which is something that other masks don't often do. Usually, after a mask my skin is too tight and dried out. My skin felt polished and still moisturized. I really like it. I will probably get it again and try other fresh face masks.

My only gripe is the expiration but I accept it since they are fresh. It just kind of sucks because if you get them really fresh you will have about 2-3 weeks to use it up. But the one the SA gave me expires in less than two weeks. So I will probably use it every few days until that time. I don't want to waste it. But I think you can get 3-4 uses out of it. Oh and to mention the smell is nice. Smells like lavender.

This is a great mask!! It leaves your skin feeling smooth and definitely does not dry it out like some masks may do; even if you've left it on for more than 10 minutes.It feels amazing after a long day at work. I put it on along with some cucumbers on my eyelids for some extra relaxation. I put it on and when it dries i damp it again and use it to exfoliate my skin a little before i take it off. Leaves my skin feeling smooth and even leaves an extra glow. AND it doesn't lead to any breakouts! Great Product!!

i have found my HG mask!!! i bought this the other day because they opened a Lush store near me and for $8 i figured why not... first i LOVE the smell.. it actually smells green (weird i know but when u smell it, its what u imagine the color green to smell like.. i LOVE it) and i love the consistancy. i got it when my friend and i did the night in for 2 option at the store where u get the steam tab and the moisturizer as well as a cleanser and a mask. this made my skin glow especially when followed by the yummy moisturizer (reminds me of the stick after u eat a creamsicle.. not the creamsicle itself but the wooden stick... yes i have weird smell anaologies lol ) it made my skin so soft and glowy i cant wait to use it up and get another... its especially good in this heat because its cooling and a refreshing treat... i use it after i got for a run since i run outdoors with my bf and its my little reward.. i wish it was a bigger jar and that it lasted longer then 3 weeks but i definitly will use it by the time its expired

I believe I have found my HG mask, and I never thought I would say it! This mask smells very appealing to me (like green tea ice cream or something of the sort) and it applies like a dream even after being cold from the fridge. After I use it, my skin feels amazing, I let it sit for 10 minutes, then I wet it and gently exfoliate my skin with the residue. My skin looks and feels amazing after I use it, it doesn't dry it out as much as I would think it would.

For the price, it is a little pricey, but I have learned to half it with my mother and then it works out great, plus I use it once every two days.

Will definitely buy again :)!

I am in love with this mask. Smells pleasant, exfoliates well and doesnt dry out the skin. Followed by a moisturiser, I love this mask.

This is a nice mask to use when you feel like relaxing. So far i cant see any great improvements in my skin, but no pimples or extra blackheads either so its kind of neutral. I just wish it lasted longer because i know most of the time i don't have enough time to use up the jar in 2 weeks. I would say its a pretty average mask and i think i will try a few others from lush before i decide if i will re-buy this one.

I'm pretty bummed that this mask doesn't seem to be working (especially since I LOVE the Catastrophe Cosmetic mask. )

After rinsing this mask, my face feel very tight ( I know its supposed to minimize the oilies, but we're talking VERY tight). Also, my face is fairly tough w/exfoliators. I use Angels on Bare Skin, buff puffs, asprin mask, even St. Ives apricot scrub, but for some reason, I find Love Lettuce to be too rough for my face.

Also, after rinsing, I don't feel anywhere near as soft/smooth as I do w/other masks. And my face gets all splotchy :(

PROS
• Appies like a dream even after being in the fridge.
• Cooling effect comes from it being in the fridge. Otherwise not a cooling mask. (not really a pro more just a note)
• Love the smell. (Lavender if I recall correctly)
• Made my skin uber soft and clear the next day.
• Easy to take off.
• AWESOME exfoliation effect.
• Easy to store/use tub that it comes in.

CONS
• Pricey. Considering how long it lasts (two weeks for mine) and the amount you get I think its extremly expensive.
• Expiry is WAY too quick. im usually a once a week mask person (if that). So its too much product for me to use in two weeks.

I thought this was okay, not as exfoliating as I would have wanted. Nothing too great about it, but I know others love it.

Turning 30 has made a big difference in skin lustre. Very sad. Been trying all sorts of things to bring back that youthful glow (apart from loading up on water and sleep) and have turned to masks for a bit of help for the next few hours... Lush is a brand that I flirt with every now and then - I decide it's over priced, and then am somehow seduced back into the store.
Packaging is ok, it's a tub - but it lasts a lot longer than the use-by date. Scent doesn't bother me. It's a nice gentle exfoliating mask. Not an anti-aging miracle, but it does a good job of polishing my skin gently, which is one way of giving it a bit of a glow. The consistency is good, and easy to spread.
Probably wouldn't buy this again, because I'm happy to separately exfoliate/mask rather than 2 in ones, and also coz there are so many other masks out there to try! continued >>
