Wow, reading all of the positive reviews here, I don't know what to think. This is one of a handful of products that I put away after the first use and didn't even give a second chance! I wore it once for an event, and when I saw the photographs afterward I realized that although this illuminates your skin, what it's actually doing (on my skin) is shining a spotlight on every single enlarged pore and flaw on my face. If I had poreless, model perfect skin it might be great, but.. if I had skin like that, I wouldn't be wearing makeup at all!

Before I purchased this, I wore liquid foundation every day. But I can get such good coverage with this that I've actually stopped using foundation on most days. It's an extremely light-feeling powder that somehow gives really good coverage. Lasting power is great and it's so fast and easy to apply. It blends so well. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin, but if you're normal to dry I think you're in luck. Color choices admittedly could be better. I started out with light-medium which was a bit too dark and had an orange tint going on. The light shade seems much better for me. I have already repurchased this once - it's a great product.

I know I am in the minority on this one, but I really do not like this product. Even with exfoliating and using a light hand this powder accentuates every flaw in my skin texture. It also seems to cake up as the day goes on. I will not be buying this again. However, on the bright side, it is a dead on match for my MW15 skin -- too bad it makes me look cakey and droopy!!

I was looking for a new finishing powder that had more of a natural finish and when i saw this i purchased it. Im a big fan also of mineral make-up so that was another plus.Applying this after my foundation i realised that it gave literally a natural finish to your skin slightly matt but with abit of a glow.this powder is also very buildable and has a low coverage.
their is nothing i dont like about this product i think it is perfect!
:)
UPDATE(1st May 2011)- I am in love with this powder even more than before and have invested in a darker shade (medium) for summer and it works and looks amazing!

So I bought this product because my former pressed powder, Covergirl Trublend, caused me to break out and felt really cakey/heavy on my face. I was very satisfied with this product, I notice that in a few week after using my face was looking clearer and healthier. I would recommend this product to people who need something light and natural that will set liquid foundation really well. It is barely noticable and will fade quickly so use it as a touch up through out the day. It is also pretty expensive, but its worth it if you are looking for something to give you a natural finish, that won't make you break out.

I got this on the weekend and I really do like it so far. It's light. I haven't got a kabuki brush currently but think that would really be best for this. I'm not liking my current supply of brushes for it. It's very light and so far hasn't been making me break out... which was my concern with the translucent powder as it contains corn Starch. As far as finishing powders go, it's pretty cheap $31.00 CAD. When considering that lower quality finishing powders range around 20 dollars for the same amount of product. Its finishing powder... you don't ahve to buy it THAT frequently. And it's stilll a deal compared to the lady trying to get me to buy a 72.00 smashbox finishing powder... that she told me won a Nobel prize?!?! what the hell was she talking about?

I love the way this feels, it is quite creamy feeling for a powder, not at all drying. I also use Body Shop Nature's Minerals too and they are pretty good I like them and the shade 02 in TBS is probably a better match than the 'Light' I have in this one. But the Light does actually work for me and doesn't make me look pasty or unnatural. And it is not too yellow for me. I have pink undertones and strong yellow bases make me look awful, kind of green. So it is a good neutral tone.

The feel and texture are the very best part of this powder, my skin can be a bit dehydrated now that I am older, so this is perfect and doesn't show up any flakey bits. And doesn't leave me feeling itchy or dry. I use this very similarly to the TBS mineral powder, so therefore just when I want a light coverage to even my skin tone but not look like I am wearing foundation. I like the feel of this much better than the TBS mineral powder. So if you can find a colour match this is a much better product, TBS isn't bad though.

I have reasonable skin, very few lines but a bit patchy and ruddy at times and some pigmentation around the jaw line and this powder just evens it out but does not cover it up. And that's all I expect and want from it.

I might have to be careful in summer that this shade isn't too light, although I never try to tan my face, but Australia is a hot country, so it happens sometimes. I don't know how the medium shade would work for me but probably would be too dark as I always lean more to the pale side of things. I might have to give medium a try if I get the chance. I didn't purchase this myself, a friend gave it to me so no complaints there, I'm loving it.

I don't know my mac shade but at a educated guess I would be NW20. In revlon color stay I am Nude200 and that is pretty damn near perfect match for me. I use my TBS mineral brush to apply this (great brush btw -see my review of it) and the powder picks up on the brush very easily and liberally, i apply it in circular strokes and the coverage is even and smooth and very natural looking on me.

Great packaging, always happy about a hinged lid and love love love that it is not a loose powder and a pressed powder instead because they are much easier and less messy to use, the compact could do with a mirror, however I don't really need one as I am not a big re-applier of makeup during the day anyway and if I did I would probably go use a bathroom mirror anyway. Seems like lots of product but too early for me tell how long it will last. No irritation and no breakouts for me either.

I like this powder! It covers a little, and gives a matte finish.

Althouh It's hard to find the perfect colour to match my skintone, now i bought "Medium Light", but that one is a little to yellow. I'd need something in between Light and Medium Light, but this powder is not that cheap so I didn't buy two ones at once.

One more con is that it does not excist in loose mineral powder, I prefer that kind of powders... I like to mix the colours to make them match my skin...

The matte-effect is also not enough as a powder, but i can use this as a light coverige...

Don't know if i will repurchase, this is almost as good as Everyday Minerals, but more expensive...need to think about it.
