Oh this mascara, there is just so much I do not like about it. Immediately clumpy, if I have had a mascara for a while and it starts to get clumpy I will gently wipe it with a tissue so that it will not apply clumpy...this one is time consuming because I always had to use a spoolie to get the clumps out and to separate my stuck together lashes. It is also heavy, it will straighten out my curled lashes. It smudges quite a bit, definetly not a repurchase from me.
this mascara is AWFUL and definately not worth the pricetag!!! it's really goopy and does not hold a curl on me at all. I don't find it to be any darker than other mascaras i have tried (Bare Escentuals Buxom is the darkest one i've tried and nothing else has even come close). i'm still using this on top of Benefit Badgal because i paid so much for it and never had a chance to return it.
Got the smaller size of this in the Dior Best in Show set along with the regular Diorshow mascara. I didnt notice this to be any "blacker" than the regular Diorshow, my lashes looked pretty much the same as they did with the regular Diorshow-fuller, longer and slightly curled. The only difference was that by the late afternoon this mascara was flaking off under my lashes and was a mess. I'd pick the regular DiorShow over this, definitively!
I don't know if i'm the only one that this product did absolutely nothing but for the outrageous cost of this mascara it what definately not worth it. The brush is too big to get all the eyelashes and i found it extremely hard to curl my eyelashes with this mascara. There are way better drugstore mascaras out there for a fraction of the cost.

By far the best mascara I have ever tried and I have tried many! This gives you very fake, slightly clumpy-in-a-good-way lashes. I am not a fan of natural looking mascara and Black Out lengthens, volumises and makes them the deepest black. I have very, very straight lashes which point downwards and have trouble with most mascaras - I am not satisfied by most I try. But this is amazing stuff. I really don't get the bad reviews as it's by far my favourite mascara but eh, different things work for different people! My only gripe is the price, it's very expensive and I go through mascara very quickly due to the amount of coats I wear, so I can't always afford to buy this.

This mascara was ok in how it applied but it didn't wear well for me. It flaked after a while and if you happen to cry while wearing this, you're likely to look like Alice Cooper afterward. It was pretty ridiculous. I've never had a mascara run that badly. Wow.
I still like trying new mascaras. This one disappointed me. It's very black which I really like. It doesn't flake or smudge. It gives length & good volume but it's too clumpy. YSL faux cils & GA ETK are not clumpy like this. continued >>
I didn't think this was ZOMG AMAZING, but it was a great mascara. (Thankfully, I got the small sample size so it was much cheaper.) It's very dark, does a decent job of lengthening and does a better job of volumizing than the normal Diorshow. It also holds all day for a smudge-free look, despite not being waterproof.
On the other hand, I've seen cheaper mascaras do more in overall performance. Also, this was really thick and kind of hard to apply (the mascara didn't want to come off the wand!), especially with such a large wand.
I was not impressed by this mascara at all. Whilst it added some volume to my lashes, it did absolutely nothing for the length. Also, this stuff runs like you wouldn't believe. After a couple of hours of wear, I would end up with ridiculous panda eyes.
Aside from that, I don't know if I was unlucky with the tube I got but this stuff was clumpy from the get go. Not happy at all.
What I like about this, especially compared to the original, is that this is a "wet"-ter mascara, at least compared to the original dry horrendous mess.
This goes on my lashes smoothly, I can layer the mascara with no problem, and there isn't usually major clumping.
With this mascara, I find volumizing, some length, and decent curl-holding.
While there is no flaking, there is a lot of smudging for me and.. I don't want a mascara that smudges.
A cheaper version of this could possibly be L'oreal's Voluminous. As both smudge on me. :|
And with the brush/packaging, you do get a lot of gunk on the brush.
