I like to buy this product as an all rounder for travel as I can slather my face and body with it. There is a nice light fragrance too, can't think of any negatives really and it is cheap as chips, I have purchased the much more expensive steam cream for my next overseas trip so it will be interesting to see which I prefer of the two.
I really like this moisturiser. It does stay true to the packaging and is so soft!! I only gave it 4 because I have found it can tend to get a little oily on my skin, but this hasn't caused any breakouts or any other problems.
This is a good product, and it IS a good moisturizer but I wouldn't repurchase.
I don't like the smell, it reminds me of my grandmother.. it's smell is too overpowering and gave me a headache.
I also wish the packaging was more convenient. It would be much nicer if it was in a bottle rather than a twist off cap. I also don't like the fact that I have to dig my hands into it and spread bacteria.
Great hand cream for daytime. The scent is inoffensive and it absorbs quickly compared to the blue tin. It's cheap and can be found practically anywhere.
This product is a good all-rounder. I've used it on my hands, face and body, but find that it works best on my body - it's great smoothed onto my legs after shaving. It was too much for my oily facial skin. However, I might use it as an overnight treatment if my face gets a little ravaged this coming winter.
I like the tube version rather than the tub, simply because it's more hygienic. It's cheap, highly accessible and does the job. I always like to have some Nivea creme in my beauty arsenal, and I find this Soft type works better for me than the heavier original.
I'd also recommend it for use after attacking your feet with a Ped Egg. Great buy.
I've been using this forever, maybe since high school (25 now!) but stopped for awhile in between when i got lazy with skincare. I've experimented with other moisturisers but always come back to this one. It's just so simple and effective. I have combo skin so i tend to use more on dry sections and just lightly pat a small amount onto the oilier parts. It absorbs quickly, moisturises well and has never broken me out (obviously everyone has different skin though). Price is good and i like that they an option of a tube or a tub. I always buy the tube so i can throw it in my bag and use it on my hands.
I bought this after reading all of the reviews on here. Now that the air is getting drier my skin has been super flaky (I also use a Retin A cream and bp face wash which made it even worse) and this has completely gotten rid of any flakes I had and now my skin is super soft. I use it day and night. I find it soaks in super fast and my I don't get oily during the day unlike some other moisturizers I have used.
Love love love it!!! I don't know why some people say it's on the pricey side because I got my big tub for about $8 at WalMart. My old moisturizer started stinging and burning my face recently and the lower half of my face is breaking out in patches because of the changing season. Seeing as how my old moisturizer wouldn't have been able to protect my skin against a Canadian winter and was burning, I chucked it. My boyfriend is a bio/chem major and happened to be in WalMart with me when I was looking for a new moisturizer and after comparing a few he told me to pick this up. So glad I did, after one day my dry patches are almost gone and no stinging!!!! Personally I prefer my products to be in a tub so I can get every last drop of a product. The only downside to this is the lack of SPF but that's easy enough to fix. Absorbs quickly, no strong smell, and makes your skin so soft after just one use.
Like someone mentioned here, I bought this creme in travel size tub only as a temporary solution whilst not being able to buy my expensive one that I usually used. However, it really surprised me - I'd never thought a drugstore face creme can do such wonder! It's so soft and easy to absorb to the skin. I don't think the smell is bad. It just doesn't smell luxurious but instead smell very clean and simple. It's the typical smell of Nivea products. Overall, thumbs up for Nivea!
disgusting smell, takes forever to get absorbed, doesn't soften the skin at all. it's cheap but such a waste of money.
