I love body butter. It smells like sweet, sun-kissed wild strawberries to me, as opposed to regular strawberries. It smells delicious and like...well, summer. The butter is a bit sticky when first applied but that quickly goes away. It's nicely moisturizing. I definitely recommend it. I carry a small tub of it in my purse and use it as a hand cream.
EDIT: After using this body butter as a hand cream for few months, I am now a bit sick of the scent. It's too strong. I'd be a great gift for a teenager that is into fruity scents, however.

After reading so many reviews, we either say it smells fake and gives you a headache or that its extremely heavenly! Well I must side with the TBS strawberry body butter lovers club! I absolutely cant get over this one, my husband thinks it smells like bubblegum (I think he means candy haha) Its really moisturizing and makes my skin glow. I use this right after I hop out of the shower and I dont use perfume when I use this because the scent is already strong. It is more on the expensive side but I can understand why its so worth it. I bought a large tub of this when I was overseas cause its much more cheaper. Wish I bought two! My other favourite is coconut. I must say, TBS really know how to make body butters smell divine!

I got a small jar of this together with a purchase. It smelled like sour milk mixed with strawberry jam, really gross. But it did make my skin super soft.

I LOVE TBS body butters. They're the best imo! I have used several lotions, creams, and body butters from other brands - high-end and drugstore ones - and I keep returning to TBS. Nothing moisturizes my skin as well as TBS body butters (for me). I recently got the Strawberry one as a GWP and was quite hesitant to try it because I'm not a huge fan of strawberries, but to my surprise, I am hooked! It smells like i'm in a field of strawberries and it's truly heavenly. I want to purchase the full size jar!

A little bit of this product goes a long way. I'd only use a dab of this on my hands - it's very moisturising, and if I use too much the smell will be overpowering. My dad hates the smell if I use too much - he compares it to Strawberry Jam. A nice product but not worth repurchasing - I got the large tub and it has so far lasted me well over a year.

So I already reviewed The Body Shop's body butters. To sum up, I think they're great and I love the formula. The only factor that makes me love them more is the smell. I don't like this one so much. I like the smell of strawberries (I wear Daisy by MJ everyday), but this one smells really fake and artificially sweet. I use it because I love the formula, but I won't be buying again.

I received my 1.7oz Strawberry Body Butter as part of a GWP. Labelled as being for NORMAL skin.

PROS: Cute container. Okay for normal skin.
CONS: Fake strawberry candy smell (a con, IMO, but might be something you love!). Leaves a slightly sticky residue on your hands even after it 'sinks in'! :( The texture also weirds me out a little bit -- the first time I tried to stick my fingers in to try it out, they just slid across the product, leaving a dent but not scooping up any butter! Doesn't seem to moisturize as much as sit on my skin...

I was REALLY excited to receive this product FREE, and was sure I was going to love it... but overall, this is not something that I will not be repurchasing and will probably even struggle to use it all (b/c I won't be using it on my hands!)

This really grossed me out. It smells like strawberry plastic. I imagined more real strawberry smell but no dice. It does moisturize well but I just can't stand the way it smells, don't understand its popularity.
