When I first bought it I was expecting it to turn my bath water into a milky consistency but that didn't happen. The end result looked like over-night soup where the oil hardens and starts floating on top. The scent was very light but overall it didn't really do anything and it wasn't visually pleasing either.
What can I say about this one. Its perfect. The scent stands by itself in such a nice way. The cocoa butter bits make the water so soft and makes skin incredibly soft. But its also so subtle that you can throw it into any bath cocktail to enhance the moisturizing capabilities of other products.
These smell lovely but the water has to be hot enough to dissolve the little bits of cocoa butter, otherwise you have these lumps of cocoa butter floating around. May not appeal to people who are paranoid about their bath tub getting greasy, and be careful not to slip
I got several of these recently, and I'm so glad that I did! The little coco butter bits left my skin soft but not greasy, and the yummy smell lingered all day. One Butterball lasts for two baths but I'll definatly use them up rather quickly!
I looooooooooooooooooooove butterball!!! I love mr.butterball even more as he is bigger and cheaper. The subtle scent sticks with your and the soft skin cannot be beat! I will continue to purchase as this is in my top 3 of lush's bath fizzies! EDIT: Still loving this one, so moisturizing! My #1 bath bomb from LUSH. I only use half and its perfect.
It smells deeelish, and yes it does soften my bath water, but I just can't help feeling like a dirty grease ball when I get out - I just *have* to soap off afterwards to get rid of that layer on my skin. Maybe it's just me.

I was really looking forward to using the Butterball Bath Bomb by Lush because it had received so many good reviews. I was not impressed by this bath bomb at all. I dropped it in the bath water and it did fizz for a very short time. The butterball bomb is not that big of a bath bomb. The bomb was suppose to have bits of cocoa butter in it and help moisturize your skin and make your skin feel soft. I did not feel a difference in the water after the bomb finished and I did not even smell the bomb only on initial contact with the water. I did smell vanilla on the bath bomb before I dropped it in the water. I have had a good experience with the other LUSH products I have used thus far but not with this one. I will not purchase this bath bomb again. I would have given the bath bomb 1 lippie but since it did fizz for a little while I went ahead and gave it 2 lippies.
It's okay, defiantly a moisturizing bath bomb to say the least! It didn't keep a scent that long though... for me, about ten minutes into the bath the smell was practically gone! the only other compliant I have is the size... It's a lot smaller than the others so you can't break it in half and get the same effect..

It is moisturizing, Smells good, and just plan fun. Be careful when getting out of the bath though(slippery).
