What I love about this fragrance is that it is not overly feminine and floral. Instead it is a bit masculine and deep, with lots of vanilla and musk. At times I think I don't like it, but then I smell an item of my clothing with it on it, and think it is absolutely stunning! My boyfriend likes it and always says I smell good when I'm wearing it. I own tons of fragrances that I can wear at anytime and its a good sign when I keep reaching for this one!
My ex bf had bought this for me for valentines day, and he wore the men's version, which smells just like the women's to me. I really love this scent, even though it smells very masculine, it still is very attractive. I usually wear girly scents, but this is great. The scent is very strong and it last foreverrrrr. Also the bottle is beautiful which is a plus!
Well, I don't really like to review perfumes because I feel skin chemistry plays such a big role but...I will say that I'm really picky about fragrances because they tend to give me headaches. This one dried down to a scent that was too heavy, musky, and sweet for me... and so of course, it's now filed under "headache inducing."

When I wear Armani Code I get orange on a vanilla base that has a decidedly incense feel to it, which in theory sounds fantastic, but in reality just lacks a certain something to it. It's definitely pleasant enough, but it seems to sit mid-category for me - not quite fruity enough to be called fruity, and not spicy/exotic enough to be called oriental. There are also floral notes in this, however they are definitely not pronounced on me - I get them very fleetingly if at all......which brings me to the point that I normally don't have any problems with fragrances not lasting on me, but for an edp the lasting power of this is very poor. I spritzed myself quite liberally with this about 4 hours ago and now I can't even smell a hint of it - even with my nose pressed to my wrist!
Although this is a nice fragrance, I wont' purchase this again as it just seems to miss the mark. Perhaps this would be a nice 'introductory to oriental fragrances' for someone who has not ventured down that path as yet, as it seems to be a hesitant trip down the oriental path but hasn't quite got there, in my opinion.
I'm using the generic of this stuff and it's too sweet and powdery for me. It's not bad, just not for me. Too much of it and it's too sweet that it becomes nauseating. And I swear that I've smelled this before! Update: Really don't like this at all! Too sickly sweet!
This review is for the EDP, not the EDT (which I feel indifferent about)~ I understand why some people complain that this is a bit generic, because at one stage or another it smells almost exactly like something else. To start it was like a more citrus-y version of Boss Intense. The middle notes just slotted into the same category as Hugo Boss Deep Red and Provocative Woman. The dry down was identical to the top notes of Hypnotic Poison on me.
I rated it highly because I love all those fragrances, but if you own them~ this one is a bit pointless. Ooooh, but the LE atomiser pump bottle is quite pretty in a faux-vintage Curious kind of way.

This is a sweet yummy fragrance. A warm honey vanilla musk, with the fruitier opening. It scents the skin deliciously, but also reminded me alot of both Valentino V, and Hugo Boss Deep Red (drydowns are identical on me), and so didn't strike me as very distinct or memorable.

Tried this perfume in an airport novelty shop while waiting for my plane to begin boarding. Curious, I sprayed a bit on my wrist. Strange, but with my biochemistry, the initial scent is almost identical to industrial laundry detergent... maybe mixed with a little bit of citronella or maybe even mosquito repellent? Sniffed again about an hour or two later and the dry down was a much more pleasant slightly masculine scent. I had heard many people say this scent was amazing and have heard it described as having notes of Jasmine, which I didn't smell at all. Sorry, I just don't understand the hype.
I love this perfume. I have a handful of top perfumes and this is definitely one of them. It's sweet but not sugary, and lasts for a long time on my skin. I wear this year round and get compliment on it. My boyfriend loves it. The bottle in beautiful too which is nice. (i rated the price a 4 but don't remember how much I paid for it). I will always have this stuff on my dresser.
This fragrance reminds me of what a spa with dim lights would smell like, very aromatherapeutic and soothing but as a fragrance I feel its too strong and masculine to an extent. Its a concoction of lavender, musk and powder. I find nothing particularly amazing in Armani Code pour femme. I wanted to love it but I just cant...
