I have just one thing to say to all of you reading this: most of you really need to start reading the description for the products on their respective websites. Number one, this is NOT a concealer! And two, of course this feels heavy on the skin, it's an emolient based foundation that is water resistant! As it says on the website; it is great for print and photography,(hint hint) that's why they don't even sell this at the MAC counters. I do have to say though that this is possibly the BEST foundation created to cover up EVERYTHING! And it really lasts! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! But I will say this, it is not the best for everyday use..it is a bit heavy, but it is AWESOME for those times when you really want to look flawless!
Incredible product <3 continued >>
uhm
i bought this b/c the studiofix was givign me tiny pimples
it was close to 30 bucks 27 i believe ?
such a waste of money !!!!!!
it loosk so fake and it doesnt matter what u use to apply it with..sponges...brushes it looks so fake and is extremely hard to apply its thicker than the conceler.... actually I USE it as concelor !! its so fake looking and extremely hard to apply a big waste of money even tho i spent 30 bucks and i work hard for my money and dont have much of it i'll probly throw it away...
This is packaged in a round compact, no mirror but with a clear top so that you can readily see the shade. I'm an NC20 in other MAC foundations, and so the NC20 shade worked best for me here.
This is one foundation that delivers full coverage, honestly nothing gets by it. I use a foundation brush to apply. Other reviewers are correct-you can use this as a concealer.
Unfortately, this also gave me a mask-like look so is not appropriate for everyday use. Worse, it gave me cystic acne which I'm still working on healing. I have combo, acne-prone skin.
Will not re-purchase. continued >>

This is an interesting find. I have VERY dry skin and often use body lotions with mineral oil on my face (that's how I dry I am).
I first tried the creme foundation of MAC's called Select SPF 15 Moistureblend. It made my skin feel like silk, but it would end up beading up and sliding all around my face as the day progressed.
Next, I tried Studio Tech. They gave me a sample of this because I didn't want to have to return a whole compact again. A little went a long way, but the coverage was horrible. I'd find that all the makeup would be gone from my nose within a few hours of wearing. All of this is weird to me because my skin is so dry!
I finally moved on to my sample of Full Coverage (FC). I was nervous because they'd told me that the formula was drying. However, after loading my face with St. Ives Collagen and Elastin body lotion (that's what I use, and it works great for me), I put a thin layer of the FC on, using my fingertips, not the sponge. Miraculously, a sheer layer of this provided better coverage than a thick layer of the other two -- and it didn't slide away or leave my face! I was so surprised.
The key, though, is using less than you think you need. I think fingertips are the way to go; they give you more control than sponges. The foundation makes my skin look nearly flawless, and with my moisturizer underneath, it isn't drying at all -- totally not what I was expecting, but I am extremely pleased with the results. The only thing I don't like is that it causes my face to become shiny in the heat (maybe because the product contains no oil), so I have to repowder if it gets really hot outside; that is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Other than that, the coverage is amazing! I think I actually may go purchase this when my sample runs out (and even the sample has lasted a whole week and a half so far!). continued >>

I recently bought this in NW20...I thought I was buying the MAC concealer that everyone raves about on this site. I don't have a lot of experience w/ MAC and apparently I was wrong. However, this is heavy enough to work as concealer. It is very dry going on so I wouldn't be able to use it in the winter when my skin has some dry patches, or I am going to have to use some heavy duty moisturizing creme because this, as another reviewer mentioned, really does accentuate dry skin. That aside, once it settles it makes my skin look wonderful. I just use it on my T zone area and a little next to my nose to tone down red. If I had oily skin, I don't think I would have any issues with this at all. One suggestion to my fellow MUA members: don't let them talk you into the large size unless you KNOW you love it (this may be a *duh* to you, if so...sorry). I'm such a sucker when salespeople talk about saving money because if I can save, like, a nickel I am soooo there. But I really, really, really wish I would have bought the smaller version because for as little as I use of this, it will certainly go bad before I use it all.
I have these really bad dark sunspots on my cheek and I found that this product is the only thing that has successfully covered them all day long. I was sold on this product when my makeup artist put it on me for my wedding day and at the end of the day, I was still picture perfect! I seriously think this product kicks ass as long as you know how to apply it. I use a combination of the stipling brush and a foundation brush to get it on evenly and lightly. Just brushing a tiny bit of loose powder will set it perfectly!!!

This product provides excellent coverage with near perfect color matches. HOWEVER, I have worn this foundation off and on for a few months and when used in moderation it may cause a few pimples. BUT, when used on a daily or weekly basis this will cause HORRIBLE breakouts. I am right now COMPLETELY rashed and itching very badly all on my entire face and neck and might I add this rash is not clearing up very quickly. The foundation is pretty greasy and is not for summertime use.
PROS: Excellent Coverage, Perfect Color match
CONS: VERY HEAVY on your face and will it will not allow air to your skin.
Causes Rashes and breakouts

Hated this product. I should have known better than to try another MAC foundation,as having wasted money on studio tech I vowed never to use a MAC foundation. I need full coverage and was hoping this would be 'it', well it was not to be. Very difficult to blend, horrible greasy texture on the skin, wears off on EVERYTHING (even with powder on top) and barely lasted a couple of hours before starting to slide off my face. The only good thing about it was that it was a good colour match. There is no way this foundation would hold up in warm weather. I also got horrid breakout spots after using it too. Would never go anywhere near this horrible stuff again!
This is the world's worst foundation. Its waterproof, so its basically impossible to remove. I used make up remover, cleansed my face twice, AND used toner and there was still traces of it on my face. It totally made me break out!
Its also ridiculously overpriced and looks like a cake on your face.
TERRIBLE.
Now the reason i have chosen Mac as a full coverage foundation is because when i decided to check out dermablend, their shades were awful for pale tones.
Im an NC15 for Mac, and i do agree that this foundation needs work. It is a little too greasy, however, i have discovered that if you use the foundation with a Dermablend like spatula and warm the mixture in your hand, it works an absolute treat to apply.
In addition to this, if you set it with dermablend setting powder the stuff does not budge. This definitely wouldnt happen if you left it without powder.
Check it out!
