Wow, I forgot how good this stuff is. I recently ran out of the Vanicreme lotion that I had being using for about 6 months, so went back to CeraVe lotion- we still had a bottle in the bathroom that my hubby was using. I can't believe how well it moisturizers for such a light lotion. It absorbs almost instantly- I can almost feel my skin drink it in. And it makes me feel so soft. I had used this in the past and always liked it... but now I am almost blown away by it. Maybe taking a break from it has caused me to appreciate it ever more. And this has no fragrance, so it doesn't interfere with any other scent you may want to wear. This is so light and absorbs so well that I can layer another scented lotion on top without feeling greasy. If this came in more glamourous packaging and cost $100 it would be all the rage! I am so glad it is inexpensive and readily available. Next time I am CVS, I am getting a whole new bottle.

My regular moisturizer, which I've been using for years, costs $40.00, and when I ran out I wasn't in the mood to pay that much, so I decided to search for something cheaper. That's how I found this hyaluronic acid containing lotion at CVS. At $15.00, it was a steal. This is not a feel-good product, meaning the packaging is dull, the product is not luxurious, does not have a big name behind it, and it will not make you feel like it's changing your life. What it does do is moisturize the skin, make it feel soft and supple, and it eliminates dry patches and redness caused by dry skin. And hyaluronic acid is known for its antiaging properties, and products containing it are usually much more expensive than CeraVe. This moisturizer does not have any cons whatsoever, and I will continue to purchase it.

Love love this moisturizer. After having spent hundreds of dollars on expensive products and supposed miracle creams from Neiman Marcus and space.nk I grew tired of nothing working and clogging my pores. I've tried all natural lines to fancy French lines and everything cost too much and did nothing for my skin. I have very sensitive skin (several facialists told me) that is problem prone aka acne and blackhead prone. I decided to try this because I'd rather try a product recommended by a derm than a saleswoman. I chose this over cetaphil because I've been reading how great cerave is and cetaphil gets mixed reviews mostly. Anyway I was surprised the lotion has hyaluronic acid because that's an ingredient that actually raises the moisture levels within the skin so it was cool to know a drugstore product could contain such a beneficial ingredient. I love that it's a lotion because it sinks right it and even in winter my skin can't handle heavy creams they irritate my skin and burn slightly. This has been amazing so far not causing clogged pores not irritating any sensitivities I just think it's great esp for the price! So glad I'm done splurging on things that don't live up to their false promises. I highly suggest giving this a try.

I was very, very skeptical about this moisturizer. I'm quite picky about what I put on my oily, sensitive skin, and I was always under the impression that this was a very heavy, oily moisturizer. Thankfully, MUA convinced me to try this and I picked it up on my last trip to Walmart. For the last month or so I've been using the First Aid Beauty Daily Face Cream (the tiny, tiny bottle that it is) and I've been absolutely in love with it. Imagine my surprise when the Cerave turned out to have almost the exact same consistency and feel as the FAB, and half a pump is good to cover my entire face and neck (as opposed to 5 or 6 pumps of the FAB). So far I haven't had any breakouts or irritation and I've even noticed that my few winter dry patches have disappeared. I think this is a fantastic moisturizer, especially for the winter, but I'm not sure how it will hold up in the summer. It is a little heavier than I would like. And although I really love this, I still like my FAB more. It just makes my skin feel healthier and I prefer the ingredients over those in the Cerave. The only thing is that FAB is so expensive for such a tiny amount that I don't think I'll repurchase. Cerave is close (and good) enough that I'd much rather shell out the $13 for 12oz of this as opposed to $18 for 2oz of my FAB. So basically what I'm saying is that for a light(er)-weight everyday moisturizer, as far as price and quality goes, this is definitely the product to beat. If it performs just as well in the summer as it does in the winter, it may very well become my HG moisturizer.

I have sensitive, acne-prone, and combination/oily skin. I’ve used many types of moisturizers (both high end brands and brands found at the drugstore), yet CeraVe’s Moisturizing Lotion is my favorite. I began using this product after my dermatologist recommended it to me. I use this lotion each morning before I apply my makeup. The consistency feels lightweight, and it moisturizes my sensitive skin effectively without irritating it or clogging my pores. Not only do I use this for my face, but I also like to use it on dry patches of skin on my body. Also, for those who are do not like strongly scented products, you will like this particular lotion since it is unscented. This moisturizer is wonderfully priced (about $11-$14 for 12 fl oz), and its performance surpasses many higher end brands.

Amazing. Feels light yet very moisturizing. Soaks into skin within a couple of minutes. Very refreshing and works well with foundation and powder. Doesn't clog pores and dirt cheap.

My search for a winter facial moisturizer is finally over. My skin issues: 1. acne prone when introduced to new products/chemicals. 2. sensitive 3. combination skin (oily chin and tzone and dry cheeks). 4. flakes appear on my forehead and cheeks at times. 5. red rash that gets slightly itchy on my cheeks that comes and goes if the temp rapidly changes from hot/cold or if I'm exercising (not sure what this is). I typically stay far away from facial moisturizers because most clog up my skin. I was recently using Purpose w/ spf15 and that ruined my face and it burned. I have tried Cetaphil in the past and that caused major clogs. I am so happy to finally try Cerave! It is so calming on my skin and doesn't burn, clog up my pores or aggravate my skin. This lotion is the right consistency not too thick or thin, it sinks into the skin perfectly leaving no greasy residue. I love that this lotion doesn't have a strong scent. In fact, it's so light almost non-existing. The price is $13.99 for a large 12.0 oz container and sold at most US drugstores.
UPDATE: Doesn't hold up to the freezing New England weather. Even us combo and oily skinned girls get dry due to the weather up here. It doesn't calm my dry flakey cheeks well enough. I will set this aside for the summer when I'm more oily.

My dermatologist gave me a sample of this and the cleanser after I told her I wasn't too happy with my Cetaphil, and I must say I prefer this a bit more. It absorbs into my skin faster and feels very light after a few minutes while keeping my skin moisturized for little over half the day (and until morning if I do it before bedtime). And of course it doesn't feel greasy, oily or irritating for my acne prone skin with slight Rosacea at all! Use it on my neck sometimes too.

I have been using this on my face with no issues. It is very moisturizing. Since I use a Gel mosturizer, this lotion is very rich to me. I have been using it on my neck and eye area and anywhere I am super dry. Otherwise, I use Boots Day Gel everywhere else. Love this lotion!
