This cleanser is great! I have tried numerous cleansers for sensitive skin and this is the only one that didn't break me out! I used to have bad acne. I tried Aveeno with the acid and it broke me out and gave me red and dry skin. I have been using this religously for 6 months now. I only wash at night though. My skin only gets a little dry but that is because we have hard water. My skin isn't red and I only get the occasional teenage pimple. It doesn't do anything for blackheads or tiny patches of congestion though. It keeps my skin mostly clear and fresh feeling. I do have to moistureize after I use it though.

I really wanted to like this. It sounded like a good face wash for these colder winter months when my skin is more dry and sensitive. Unfortunately, it broke me out in tiny red bumps and even gave me some dry patches, which I never get. Once I stopped using this, my skin cleared up. I've used other Aveeno washes and haven't had a problem, so it could be that my skin doesn't agree with the feverfew ingredient in this.

I have been breaking out a lot lately so I decided to go with a very simple skincare routine. I purchased this and at first I didn't love it. I found it too foamy and thin, no substance to it. Then I decided to massage it on my skin for at least 30 seconds and the consistency got nice and creamy and felt so soft. THat's the trick, make sure you massage it on your face for a while. Now I love it. It removes all my makeup as long as I use a cotton square to wipe it off, then rinse. I use it morning and night. I recommend it especially if you have sensitive acne prone skin.

I went into Ulta with the intentions of purchasing Clean & Clear but thankfully, came out with this. I have very dry skin that does tend to be sensitive. Not only does this calm my redness but it actually cleans my skin! I love the pump and the foam, very convenient. I'm not sure that it moisturizes my skin at all, but it certainly doesn't make it any dryer than it already is like some cleansers tend to do. Afterwards my skin feels fresh and clean...not tight at all. I'm sure this will also come in handy when I get an allergic reaction from eye makeup (happens kind of frequently :[ ). My only complaint is that I wish it was scented :\. Good product! continued >>
I like this product.
I've used it for quite a while now, but I've stopped since I found a new cleanser.
However, I pull it out when my skin is aggravated and I don't want my cleanser to be as harsh.
The smell is different, I'm not sure how to explain it that well, but it's very nostalgic for me, weird.. I know.
It washes off my make up, and it's gentle enough for everyday use.
The best cleanser for my dry, very sensitive skin, has been Cosmedicine's Healthy Cleanser & Toner. However because of the price, I was looking for a cheaper, drugstore alternative and found it in Aveeno's Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser.
Upon applying, it does not irritate my skin, but leaves my dry areas (cheeks) a tad tight after rinsing off. However, my T-zone area is left feeling refreshed. Despite being gentle, it is even able to take off residual traces of waterproof eye makeup. Overall, it's a reliable cleanser that is gentle, does not leave any residue, and does not dry my skin. continued >>

I really like this cleanser because its foamy and it removes my makeup really well but it started drying my skin out so I have to look for something else. I won't be repurchasing.

I recently purchased this after using Aveeno Positively Radiant cleanser, which I prefer. I have reactive (cheek area) fair skin that reddens during extreme temperatures, particularly summer but a bit in winter as well. I do not have rosacea. I have been dealing with dryness issues more this winter than others and wanted something claiming to be gentle (soap free) and calming. This seems to be both however, I just don't feel like this cleanser cleans efficiently. I need to use 4+ pumps in order to remove mascara residue that was left behind after easy removal with lukewarm water. I have yet to experience dreaded dryness that other users have experienced and if I do I will not repurchase this. I'll use the current bottle to completion and if no desired results ensue it's back to my previous Aveeno cleanser. This cleanser is nice but I know there's better out there, I just haven't found it.

I've used this for years. Works great to remove makeup adn does not leave my skin feeling dry. Use it more in summer than in winter but I love it. Also great for cleaning makeup brushes. Pump packaging and size make it unusable for airline travel though. Good for combo to dry sensitive skin but probably not for very dry skin. In very cold weather I switch to something else.

I have very dry, flaky, sensitive skin and have tried many cleansers. So many have caused my face to be overly dry; or those that do not foam, my face does not feel clean. This cleanser is perfect. It gently cleans my face without being overly harsh. I can also clean my eyelids, which are also very dry and sensitive, and they do not sting. I will definitely buy this again.
