Pros:
No harsh ingredients
Makes my skin feel amazing- smooth and silky
My skin glows
Not Skicky
Concentrated- if you use too much, you will feel greasy
No fragrance
Good under makeup- makes my Nars Sheer glow apply beautifully

Cons:
this is not to be used alone, I mix it with Boscia at night and an spf moisturizer during the day..I also alternate using this in the summer and Argan oil in the winter.

Age: 30-35 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair, Cool Hair: Blond, Straight, Medium Eyes: Other

Let me first start by saying that I am 35, have oily skin and am very prone to breakouts, clogged pores etc. I have been using acne.org BP daily for the past year (at least) and it makes a huge difference to the way my skin looks. But it does dry my oily skin out even if I use it once a day (and I only use it once a day, my skin can't tolerate a more frequent use). I need a moisturizer that will provide a great deal of hydration without clogging my pores. That's a tough mission. My HG moisturizer is Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief. It contains silicones, that normally clog my pores like there is no tomorrow. But this moisturizer is not the case, though it has enough silicones to it! It provides enough moisture and doesn't cause me any breakouts. I have to use it twice a day to avoid nasty dry patches on my skin. Sometimes I apply a thick layer of it in the evening and pat it off with a tissue if my skin is extra dry. I can't live without it as it's the only moisturizer that doesn't leave me with a clogged blemished face. I only purchase it off ebay because that's the only place where I can get it in tube (30 ml), therefore I am not taking off lippies for the packaging. I hate the regular Clinique jars and hope that they are going to change that!

Found the culprit! This product totally clogged my pores and broke me out. I'm finally recovering after not using it for a week. NOT GOOD if you are acne prone. My skin isn't usually too bad but I do have trouble with blackheads, and there is always some kind of blemish on my face. However, this product made every single pore on my forehead turn into a blemish.
The lotion is very light, feels like something just to put on your skin if you don't want anything heavy but need something after stripping your skin with soap and/or toner. I liked it well enough before I realized it was responsible for clogging my pores (changed a couple of products at the same time), but only because it was a free sample. Didn't seem to do much otherwise. It's kinda a non-event in moisturizers.

Absorbs well, moisturizes great. Not oily or greasy. Didn't break me out. Definitely will buy again!

I only wouldn't repurchase this product because it doesn't work alone, rather, it must be placed over another moisturizer. I tried using it on its own and it didn't moisture at all. I contacted Clinique's sales counter and it's not designed to be used alone.

This gel feels really good, especially in the summer. My face looks slightly more moisturized and plump for about three hours after use. For me, this isn't worth the money. I'm mixing it with oil at the moment to get through it this winter so it's not a complete waste of money. When I purchased this last summer, it was the only moisture surge for very dry skin. Now Clinique is selling this for oily skins, and came out with a new cream version for dry skin. I won't try the cream version or repurchase this.

I really love this gel moisturizer. It's extremely non-greasy and feels really great on. However, it's not meant to be a primary moisturizer, and because of that, I have a hard time understanding where this fits into my skin care regimen. I understand having a moisturizer that provides a moisture boost in the drier months or in drier climates, but I can't justify spending so much money on something that's just augmenting something else. For that reason, I'll only use it when I get it free in a GWP.

My Skin:
Combination, Asian (NC 20-25)

Product Value:
I had purchased the 75 ml/ 2.5 oz jar for $57.50 CDN
Used it daily, twice a day and it lasted 2-3 months for me.

Packaging:
Jar. I don't mind this too much since I use a spatula and when I don't my hands and fingers are clean.

How It worked for my skin:
I don't have particularly dry skin or dehydrated skin. I felt that when I had placed this on my skin, my skin wouldn't feel plump w/ hydration. It would feel relatively good for the initial 5 minutes or so but afterwards my skin would feel like I had originally placed nothing on it. Granted that the formula is a gel however my skin felt tight after the 5 minutes.

_ -_-_-_-_-_- _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Did this relieve me of flakes? No.
Did it break out my skin? No.
Was it amazing? No.
Repurchase? No.
Waste? Not necessarily.

Conclusion;
This is an average moisturizer for my skin.

Though not a huge fan of Clinique makeup products (for skin), I do really love most of their skincare products. In the summer, my go-to moisturizer is Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, but in the fall and winter, THIS is the best possible moisturizer! It gets rid of flakiness most of the time if you use it at least once a day. Or, it works great as a 5-minute moisture mask if you're having an emergency dry skin dilemma! Solves all problems of horrid, dry winter weather skin and also feels AMAZING once you put it on. Light but moisturizing and not suffocating! I highly recommend. Although, if you don't have all-over dryness, I'd suggest just using it as a spot moisturizer on dry patches.

Also, most importantly, it has not broken me out and I've used it for a few months. Always a plus since my skin seems to hate anything new I put on it!

I've got VERY sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin and eczema. Trying to find a good product that's oil free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and generally fragrance free is virtually impossible. Combine those requirements with looking for a good moisturizer for winter months, and you may as well forget it. I live in Indiana, where winters are pretty harsh and very dry. I have LOVED this product for years. I use it after my Proactiv regimen, and find that it puts just the right amount of moisture back into my skin and keeps me from feeling "tight" under my make up (especially since I use Bare Escentuals and there's no moisture there...).

If you have particularly dry or chapped skin, I would caution you against this product. It probably wouldn't be moisturizing enough. It's very lightweight and soaks in quickly. If you're looking for something more long-lasting and "comforting" to your skin, this isn't it.

Let me start by saying that I agree with most of the comments that this really shouldn't be marketed towards dry skin, because it doesn't really help give back a ton of moisture. I live in Alabama, so even in the coldest winter it's still humid. I have acne problems to an extent and I use a topical B.P. cream which dries out my skin horribly. I've been using it during the winter and my face needs a pretty good moisturizer that will lock in moisture well. This just doesn't cut it. It adds a nice layer during the summer and I enjoy it when the humidity is at its highest, but for the winter I'd rather just use the Dramatically Different gel instead of this, which is way cheaper and simply a better moisturizer in my opinion.
