My favorite brush ever! Its so cheap and soft. applys foundation nicely.stays the same after i wash it. never is hard or feel crispy on my face. Would always buy this again
This works pretty well for my CoverGirl Liquid Foundation. It applies it evenly and blends it in so it looks natural. I will be getting the Studio foundation brush shortly, so I will see if it seems to work any better. Overall, for a dollar, I'd recommend it. If you don't like it, so what? It was a dollar lol :D Worth trying.
For someone who's used a sponge since I was about 13, this is absolutely great. I was slowly convinced that using a brush would be better after seeing reviews and tips about them and finally got one. The best thing about the brush obviously is the price. Just a buck and it's quality, too. You'd expect something really cheap and crappy, but the bristles are very soft while being able to smooth out my foundation and not giving me streaks. Plus, I can wash it out and it remains the same after.
- It makes my foundation very smooth and very natural looking
- Keeps my foundation from caking or looking uneven on dryer parts of my face
- Works great with Revlon CS since it dries fairly quickly
I'd definitely tell anyone to pick this up instead of shelling out $20 for a brush that's probably about the same quality. Save yourself some time and money and get it.
Really cheap. I bought this because my last two foundation brushes from ecotools fell apart after a few washings, and I wasn't ready to invest a better quality brush yet. This brush can do the job in an emergency, but I wouldn't use it regularly. The bristles are to rough on my skin that it it scratches/irritates my face when I blend my foundation. Will use this or a sponge until I find a better replacement.
This is a great brush for liquid foundation(my twin loves it) but if you have Anything thicker it sheds (everywhere) and gives you streaky coverage. Still, it's dirt cheap and great for liquid foundation.
Very nice brush and cheap. What more would you ask for?
I was disappointed in this brush.
I felt it was really too small for foundation application. Application was not very smooth either.
And it broke after two uses.
It might be o.k. for concealer, although I have other concealer brushes that I'd rather use.
I don't really like this brush. It leaves my foundation very streaky, I then have to go in and blend it out with another brush or my fingers. The coverage is great, but the streaks aren't. Another thing I dislike is how hard it is to clean this brush. Foundation gets trapped in the middle, and no matter how hard I scrub it, it won't come out. It also takes forever to dry. And I took off another lippie because the ferrule fell off the second time I used it. If you're looking for a good foundation brush from elf, I would recommend their studio powder brush, it's seriously amazing.
This is a decent brush. Although you really have to work with it so it doesn't leave your foundation looking streaking. So brushing it in is good then you have to pat it down with the brush so it don't look crazy. Right now though I've been using this more for putting on masks.
This brush is too thin to get the job done for me. Plus it is so cheaply packaged (at least mine is) that the farrel is falling apart. Will not buy this again, I cant even find a use for this brush.
