I love Flowerbomb! I like to layer it with BBW Dark Kiss s/g and lotion. It is very sweet but I don't find it to be gourmand. It's playful and sexy without being OTT. One squirt is plenty and I find it to last pretty well through the day. For comparison, I also like MJ Daisy, Chanel Chance eau Tendre, Stella, Narciso Rodriguez For Her Musc EDP Intense, Burberry Beat, and D&G Light Blue. continued >>

Flowerbomb doesn't smell remotely how I'd expect a "flower bomb" to smell. It's much warmer. More spicy, oriental. When you first spray it though, it smells like candy or sugar. That syrupy element of the fragrance smells a little bit trashy to me. Like what someone would be wearing at a club when they want to hook up. But it mellows out, and what's left are sweet flowers, something powdery and patchouli. Actually, now that I think about it, it smells like the Narciso Rodriguez perfume, but not as overpowering. The scent lingers on your skin- it has good lasting power. However, after just using the rollerball and not putting very much on at all, my boyfriend said to me a full 2 hours later that whatever perfume I was wearing was too strong and it made him feel sick. Guess that's the end of that for me. I think this perfume would make a nice winter scent because of its warmth and slight headiness, but I prefer Dolce & Gabbana The One for an everyday winter fragrance. continued >>

This perfume is absolutely wonderful! It's top notes remind me of Blue Sugar, which my boyfriend uses - I LOVE it on him! I wish it had long(er) lasting power though, 'cause on my very dry skin it really doesn't. (Yeah, I've tried the Extreme -- didn't like it.) Two lippies off for that (it's THAT bad :( ). Damn, I really wish I didn't have to give such a wonderful perfume such fifty-fifty rating ..

I love this scent i have been wearing it for about four years now and i cannot live with out it. When i wear it people are like where is that coming from it smells amazing. Smells like candy floss. Yes it is expensive but man when you wear this you feel super sexy and and then scent will leave an impression. Trick is not to wear to much as it is strong. I think all girls should own a bottle i cannot live with out it.

I was really looking forward to trying Flowerbomb based upon the reviews I've read on it. I like sweet, I like floral, I like sugary, I like girlie, I like lots of silage, so this sounded promising. Unfortunately it was nothing I had envisioned. The first thing that struck me about it was how incredibly synthetic it smelled. I let time do its thing thinking it may have melted into something better after time, and to a small degree it did, but that over the top synthetic quality remained from start to finish. It was a very different sweet than I was expecting as well. Rather than a soft, fluffy, cuddly, girlie, pink, sugar and spice and all things nice sweet I was engulfed by a loud, synthetic, cough syrup type sweet. Not what I enjoy. And to top it off, to my nose, it was surprisingly inexpensive/cheap smelling. It smelled (to me) of something I would find hanging out beside perfumes such as Ms. Spears Fantasy in stores. I'm aware that many love this fragrance and I'm sure that it smells different on some others than it does on me, but my personal experience with this fragrance leaves me very little positive to say about it. With the exception that it does indeed come in a pretty bottle and it lingers on the skin forever.

I absolutely love this fragrance!!

But this is definitely not a mainstream fragrance I think. I can see how some people would find this too sweet or overpowering. It is an intense and strong scent and definitely needs to be worn/tested for a few days before purchasing.

This fragrance is very multi-dimensional, with 3 different layers of scent (at least on me). So far, this is the longest wearing perfume that I own (although I don't have a ton of fragrances so can't speak too much on this). The other expensive, brand perfumes I own are Burberry, Prada, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, Caleche (just one of each). Compared to those my Flowerbomb lasts much longer, pretty much all day and night with just a few sprays.

Its very feminine, floral, and pretty so if you like those type of scents, you may like this one.

OK, this is (by all means) the most gorgeous floriental opening that I've ever, ever encountered in my life...amazing, fresh, powdery, magical, potent and very sexy.....omg, the first time I've smelled it it was my soon to be signature scent...and one day I noticed that I really liked sniffing it from the bottle more than I like to put it on me...now,why is that?
because of the drydown...that's why! because after that magical first notes, you tend to be left with sugary, toothache-inducing synthetic vanilla...(like the one in Y.Rochers Rose Absolute)...it is very Pink Sugar alike, though PS is almost perfect in the presence, not that sophisticated and without thet initial burst of flowery fruits...but still very good and special..
Flowerbomb is a unique floriental which smells divine when you first put it on....you can detect thousands of components and it seems to me you've entered a flowery-fruity-sugary-oriental circus where everything is the way it is supposed to be, but there's something missing...
because after all that wooooooooahhhh, there comes-naaaaaaaah, when you feel a bit sick from all that sugar in the background...
I still love it and recomend it for the floriental lovers (and when you're in the mood try less expensive and kinda simmilar to this one- Lagerfeld's Kapsule Floriental), but it is waaaay to expensive and waaay to lokhoum-y for me to enjoy it to the fullest...

sniffing the botle will do it for me...at least for now....

I really liked this fragrance in the magazines, but in real life it was just too much for me. I had to have it, and since I bought it, I have only worn it once. It was a mistake to wear it to work. It overpowered me all day. I can only imagine what it did to those around me. I wanted to LOVE this, but I didn't. Really sad about that.
