idealist is ok.... it makes skin soft for a little while, but its a filmy kind of soft... like there are bits of somthing in it.

does'nt minimize pores, does'nt really refresh... done.

but it works as a cream, and honestly thats all i need it to do.

I think this product is excellent. Apply it under your moisturizer, as directed and your skin will look just beautiful. Estee Lauder excels when it comes development of skin products.

I have loved Idealist from the beginning. I use Advanced Night Repair, then 2 pumps of idealist, then moizt. Every day twice a day.

I see a dermatologist regularly. I have often complained about products and their effectiveness or lack their of. She advised me that it takes about 6 weeks of using a product to really see results. She said skin cells take 6 weeks to turnover. So any product you are using will take 6 weeks to make a difference.

I have used department store products in the past, for 6 weeks...determined that I did not see results and returned the mostly empty pacakge.

I love idealist. Makes my skin feel wonderful, great base for my foundation. And the hygenic packaging is great.

I used this product for about a year. I really liked the way it made my skin feel but never really noticed any changes in my skin. I just recently decided to change up my whole skincare routine and honestly this is the first to go. I have had some recent medicine changes that have caused my skin to change and this is just not working anymore. I did put that I would buy again because I might in the future but for the cost I really don't expect too. There are other products just as good in my opinion.

I’ve used the old version. I got the 100ML version at the airport. After finished a bottle, I would say I see only a bit of difference in the skin and the improvement disappear after a few weeks of stopping using it. I find Advanced Night Repair Whitenning/Concentrate to provide faster/more instant effect than Idealist.

I bought it two times not because It works on my skin but my short term memory *lol* I kinda forgot how it was and when I got this facial treatment from Estee Lauder, they recommended so I bought again. I find any visible signs at all but break outs. I now will make sure I won't buy it again hehe =p

Last year I was put on a hormonal treatment by my gyn, it was a fake menopause that of course affected my skin. I used Clinique products for a few years, but my skin was not feeling right. I decided to give EL products a try and got idealist among other products. I fell for idealist since day 1 because it made my skin feel softer and pores looked smaller.
My problems with the product started after I finished my medication and got back to normal hormonal processes, I got whiteheads on my cheeks.
I think this is a great product for skin that is not very oily like mine.

Coming from an East Asian Idealist seemed to work rather nicely the first day or so. After a few days of using it I noticed I started to get minor break-outs here and there. I normally don't get pimples (maybe one a month) or something like that, but Idealist seemed work with my skin. I have had other East Asians use it and love it, but it didn't do much magic for me. Bummer.

I do use it for my hands though :) It doesn't make my hands break out or anything, just nice, smooth and flawless looking

I got a sample size of it. It feels really smooth to put on and evens my skins tones immediately. My pores are small so I can't tell whether it does something to the pores. It makes my face glow nicely, but not sure about the long term effects since I haven't used for very long. will purchage only if there is promotion going on because of the expensive price.
