Love this product to use on photoshoots to create a shiny greased up look! Also a good all round product for a quick moisturizer or lip balm. While I wouldn't choose to use it for those reasons, it is def very multi putpose!

Vaseline is one of the "must haves". It works for so many different things. I religiously use it on my lips & it works better than any chapstick/lip balm I've ever owned. I use it on cuts & they heal quick. I've never tried it to remove eye makeup but after seeing all the reviews I am going to & see how it goes. continued >>

Throwing in my two cents: I love vaseline! My main uses are as a daily and nightly lip protectant/healer and eye makeup remover It's seriously the only substance that actually heals my lips when they're chapped- probably because there's no fragrance or harsh ingredients. I've also used it on my rough calloused feet, and dry areas near my cuticles. It's so classic, versatile, and inexpensive. Every bathroom shelf needs a tub of Vaseline!

I just cant say enough good things about this product, like everything else, it does have some disadvantages ... but NONE of them are a deal breaker.
You can pretty much get this product everywhere and is going to be cheap, cheap, cheap !!

Advantages:
There are so many... i dont usually rave about any product as i like to evaluate both sides, but this is no doubt the best product out there, its so simple, so cheap and just a miracle worker. You actually use this product anywhere on your body (see recommendations) and it will act as an amazing moisturiser, it leaves the skin soft and hydrated - and does actually LAST; which most moisturisers fail to do. It doesnt leave the skin oily and dripping with grease - it does feel slightly greasy at first, but this feeling doesnt last. Has NO irritation, not even the slightest tingle with this product, it is completely irritation free and feels great when all sunk in and working its magic !!

Disadvantages:
It can be very sticky when you put it on, it is quite annoying which is why I normally use it before I go to bed because then you dont have to cope with it .. and you wake up all soft and hydrated ! :D

Recommendations (that I do with this product):
- Suitable for sensitive skin - NO irritation at all.
- Dont use this near your hair line if your not planning to wash your hair later as it can cause the hair to look greasy.
- Put usual lip colour on and layer it with vaseline -- hello lipgloss !!
- Put on eyelashes to make them grow and thicken -- IT WORKS over time. !!
- Undereyes, wrinkles, cuticles, feet and hands have been proven to instanly become softer after the use of this everyday. (make sure you use it over night when skin repairs itself)

Hope I helped. x

I don't know why I didn't start doing this years ago but I'm glad I came to this forum and read about this insanely wonderful product.

I started using this lightly under my eyes at night. Within a week the small wrinkles had softened and my skin felt good. Then I started using it on my neck where I have 2 deep wrinkles. Again, within a few days the wrinkles had smoothed out.

Better yet, no signs of irritation whatsoever and no breakouts.

So every night when I shower I wash my face, apply my usual skin care products then I put a tiny bit of water in my palm and add a small bit of vaseline, mix it together with my hands and slather it on my face.

The Vaseline seals in the night cream and protects my face from the extremely dry climate I live in. I wake up every morning to less noticable wrinkles and soft, soft skin. I will be using this the rest of my life and perhaps I will be one of those old ladies with no wrinkles and people asking me, "What is your secret?"

And I can laugh and say "Plain old Vaseline" :)

I can not say enough good things about Vaseline. I mean first of all its DIRT cheap for a huge tub. And you can use it for pretty much anything ever. During the winter I use it on the dry patches I get on my cheeks, and they disappear overnight. I also spread it all over my neck, ears, and hairline when applying hairdye and none stains my skin. I also use it around my eyes from time to time and on dry hands and feet. Vaseline is a must have for every house.

UGHHHH TO OILY!!!!. if u want to moisterize ur skin use aveeno. if its for lips use nieva. ik its cheap, but it just sucks. i like aquaphor better. try investing in body shop body butters it lasts forever and its only 18 dollars for the largest one. it so much more worth it. if its for cuts use neosporin.

I have had cracked and bleeding feet every winter for years. I started putting this on in the morning with a pair of very old shoes while reading the newspaper or getting on the computer. Worked miracles. Now if I don't do this for a few days, the cracking and bleeding return. This year I began putting it on my face and hands and have not had any problems with dryness. A miracle and a CHEAP solution. Wish I had done this years ago.

Reliable, basic and inexpensive staple that I always have a tube of. I personally prefer the tube to the jar as it's more hygienic and less messy. I mainly use it as a moisturizer and occasional makeup remover. Really good for when my lips are dry and chapped and I have run out of lip balm.
