HG! Love this, it keep my skin clear and soft. Gentle enough to use everyday. Can't say much else, but I just love it.
I bought this in a travel size when I went camping, and my face actually improved through four days of sweat & humidity. I quit using it when i came home, but decided to use it all up and I'll def buy it again. Getting a few whiteheads right now, probably purging, but the rest of my skin looks really good. continued >>
I've been using this for a few months now and it seems to be working well. I like to use it in the shower and leave it on for a minute or two while my dandruff shampoo is setting in as well. You can start to feel a slight tingle if you leave it on long enough, which is the Sacyrlic Acid working.
It's definitely a good daily scrub. I have sensitive, combination skin with mild Rosacea. It's helped to cut down on the number of pimples I have, though I admit I don't normally break out too much. I like to use a toner afterward though because I feel like it doesn't all come off with just water (unless I'm in the shower, than it's easier to take it off completely).
I still like to use a slightly more abrasive scrub/exfoliate at least once a week.
The smell could be improved, but it's not unpleasant. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but the price isn't too bad considering how long it lasts. You actually don't need too much product as it applies fairly smoothly over the face with just a little amount.
I gave it 3 lippies because I haven't noticed any improvement in my pores. I've never had a blackhead, but this doesn't help to minimize my pores or 'unclog' them. It just works as a decent scrub.
I love this cleanser because it makes my skin feel very clean and fresh afterward. It can be harsh if you have sensitive skins, so i recommend using it 2 times a week.
It helps reduces pimple but it dont really help preventing it.
I would buy it again for the good scrubbing, but if i can find something better to replace this then i wouldn't buy it no more.
I have oily/combo skin with mild acne, large pores, acne scars, uneven texture, and sensitive skins.
So happy with this product :) makes my skin so perfect , one tone, smooth, and clears up my acne. just make sure you DO NOT USE IT TO FREQUENTLY.! NOT A DAILY CLEANSER! IT WILL DRY YOUR SKIN!. for my , using this with another daily clearner i find the combo is clearing up my acne and making me more confidenct.
This product, even in combination with facial steaming, did nothing but make my skin worse. I tried to stick with it for two weeks, but my face exploded. I'm not acne prone, but I do get the occasional pimple. A few blackheads that could not be extracted prompted me to try this product. The pores on my nose, even the ones without blackheads, became inflamed.
I couldn't finish the bottle. I gave it to a friend (who is very acne prone) and it exacerbated the acne that she did have, making her face ruddy.
This product smells nice & fruity, has a tingly sensation (the type you get when you accidentally get nail-polish remover on your skin), contains salicylic acid and is gentle.
Its exfoliating abilities aren't the best, but I don't consider this a con because it's not supposed to be a weekly scrub but a daily scrub; thus it's meant to be gentle/weak enough for everyday use. Plus, the salicylic acid should provide some chemical exfoliation, and so that ought to eliminate the number of beads the manufacturers decide to put in.
This does leaves your skin feeling nicely supple and smooth, but it won't vanquish dry patches in one wash; you have to do it several times over a couple of days.
I just wish the formula had a neutral pH. As much as I like the tingly sensation, I don't like that the skin has to work against it to re-establish neutral pH; after washing my face, it doesn't feel "right"...like it's still feeling strangely acidic from the wash? It's not a drying feeling, it's something else.... continued >>

i really liek the smell and the minty like tingle that you fell when you put it on....the beads dont really seem to do that much but i do feel smoothness in my skin, although my acne has not gotten much better but i will update after more use

I bought this kind of on a whim when my local Rite Aid was having a "Buy a Biore cleanser, get pore strips for free" sale and I was buying some pore strips anyway. I remembered that this got pretty good reviews on here, so I decided to try it out.
First of all, I find this scrub to be pretty gentle. I like that it is cream-based, and not too scrubby. I don't really think the beads do a whole lot- I think it would be just as effective if it were just a cream cleanser. After I rinse it off, my skin feels clean and very soft and supple. I feel I can use it every day. Some have said it is drying, but I always use moisturizer right away and have always found it to be just right. I should probably mention my skin is on the oilier side.
Also, this scrub is kind of tingly, which I know is just from the menthol, but it always make my skin feel so much cleaner than without it! I think it really does help my pores, too. And -ok, this is gross- it seems to help them to be easier to purge with a lancet as well.
Overall, I wouldn't say this is a life-changing cleanser, but it works just fine, is inexpensive and you know what? My skin has been looking pretty perfect since I've been using it.
