I am in my first week of using this product and i am really impressed!! When this first came out i tried a tester on the back of my hand and thought the texture was awful and i didnt buy it. However i was recently on the lookout for a foundation and saw it had ok reviews. Im so glad i bought it!
I have oily acne scarred skin that needs a really good coverage. My problem with foundations is that half way thoough the day i look like an oil slick and need to blot and powder. Not in this case!
I use an oil free primer and then use this mousse with my foundation brush. I then use concealer and set with powder. Thats all i need and im covered all day!

As for many other reviewers, this was one my first foundations. I did not have any major skin issues in my teens and early 20s, so I was using just concealer and powder.
My skin was absolutely not dry at the time - more combination to oily, but this made me look super dry and flaky... The colour was ok, application easy, but the finish horrible. Dry flakes all over my skin.
I would recommend it only to people on budget with oily skin, who use scrub every other day... Otherwise it cannot work.
There are plenty other and much better products in this price category.

My first foundation ever also. It is so terrible that i have still have the first unit i bought... it was 6 years ago, and i still can't finish it. I never tried to put it on my whole face because it just covered nothing and made me look even whiter than i am already. The texture is great, it is funny, but it is totally inefficient. I use it now as a concealer but i mix it with a liquid one. Very cheap in both ways.

This was my first ever foundation, my mum bought it for me when I turned 13 because I started breaking out really badly... At first I thought it was amazing! Once I started running out I went to the shop and bought a new one straight away! I didnt realise how bad I looked! The foundation matched my skin but it looked really really light in the sunlight! Also on photos I looked like a ghost even though my friends are pretty pale too!

This is my current drugstore foundation. It might not be the best, but I still like it. And the product lasts for quite a long time, but I only like to use the tiniest amount to even out my skin tone (which, it is great at doing).
I have quite oily skin, so it's understandable that it doesn't keep my skin completely matte, but it does a pretty decent job still.
I wouldn't recommend this for someone with dry skin, because it's matte and because it tends to cling on to any flaky skin. I would recommend it though, for anyone with maybe a combination skin, that is quite smooth, and is just looking for a foundation to even out their skin tone.
I've heard a lot of people asking and complaining about the application of the foundation. I personally like to apply it with a brush, but like I said before, I only use the tiniest amount. Hope this helps.

As a foundation, this isn't a good product. When I put it on my cheeks, it looks OK. When I put it on my forehead, it looks so much lighter! I've used it as a concealer to hide scarring on my face, but it does look cakey with more product. I've been using this for hiding accidental love bites. Other than that, I wouldn't buy this again.

Price: well, being a drugstore foundation, it is affordable.
Packaging: It's a bit heavy and easily breakable since the body is glass.

I have acne prone oily skin and this made me break out like nothing else. It made my friend break out like crazy too. Made my face super itchy and broke me out with cystic pimples that I had never had before.

I'd have loved this product if it did not break me out. It spread nice on my skin and I liked how it looked. But seriously, if you're acne prone don't buy this. I knew a girl who used this product and did not break out or anything so I guess it depends on your skin type but ughhhh I would never touch this again. EVER.

I love the matte effect this foundation gives at first and that's about it.
When I was younger, this foundation was perfect as it would stay on through the school day and have a nice finish. However nowadays, it will only last for about an hour (EVEN with a setting powder) until it seems to wear off and my skin becomes shiny, and the thing is my skin isn't even naturally that oily at all. So not so suitable in the humid climate of the country I live in.
Also, unless you opt for a darker shade of the spectrum, which for winter I do not want, the shades tend to be very pink toned. I have tried much better mousse based foundations like L'oreal's range, so I will no longer be purchasing this foundation.

This is my HG foundation<333333 since I was 12 this is AMAZIIIING I love how it goes on soo matte and it oxidizes to my skin <3 it smooths out my skin evenly I love it(: I must say a little goes a long way since its soo matte itll look funny but some finishing spray will do wonders(: I use this when im having a bad skin day or wheb I know im gna be running around doing be errands :/ I highly recommend this33 im NW18 skintone with really pink unsertones and I usually use Natural Ivory light3, I really like it. Okay,this past month i had finally found a skin care routine that worked for me and it's been clearing up my skin so well. Then I saw this at walmart,and I was curious so i got it. I wore it for two days in a row,first day went well and I really liked it and thought it was really light and had good coverage. I washed it off that night and all was fine. Then the second day I wore it,i washed it off and saw 2 huge zits on my forehead,and red pimples on my cheeks and chin. It was so bad I felt like crying. I hate tossing a product once I get it,so i'll only be using this under my eyes to cover dark circles. But once i'm out i will NEVER purchase this again. Dislike.
