I was searching for a nude lippie I tried Myth cause I heard so many good reviews on how this is perfect nude lippie. Well, I;m a NC43/NC44 and that lipstick made me look like I just ate a powdered donut. While being avidly disgusted with Myth I went back to mac and found Blankety this is the perfect nude lippie for me i simply love the color it gives my lips. i would definately purchase it again. This is in my make up bag.

Firstly, NARS Chelsea Girl Lip Lacquer is my ultimate favorite natural/nude/MLBB daytime shade. However, it is expensive and I find the pot to be a bit of an inconvenience.
Blankety is a close 2nd to this more natural, but better lip shade. It goes on creamy and opaque and doesn't dry out my lips as much as other MAC lipsticks I own.
I use Paula's Choice lip balm underneath all of my lipsticks.
I am a NC20 with fairly pigmented lips.

HOLY GRAIL!!! This may be my new favorite mac lipstick! I've been so hesitant to try it, seeing as a few people were saying it was too brown? That is SO not the case. Actually I wasn't super crazy about it in the MAC store, but I was like, what the heck, i'll try it out and if i still don't like it when I get home, i'll just return it. NO NEED FOR THAT! I am in LOVE! This lipstick is the creamiest, smoothest, most beautiful color I've ever come across in a mac lippie. I've been an devotee to Creme D' Nude for sometime now (Nudes and light pinks are pretty much all I wear) but after trying out Blankety, this is definitely comes in close second. The color is a pretty, very wearable beigey pink. If you have pigmented lips like I do, this is probably the perfect nude. It doesn't give the concealer lip look AT ALL, like myth does. Everybody that loves nudes has to try this product. I'm SO glad I did!

I don't know if I got a different blankety then everyone else who loves it.. or what... and I didn't keep it long enough to take a picture in it... but it gave me the worst gray beige colored lips in the history of corpse lips. A lot of people say it works great with liner under, and gloss over, but to me, I need something that stands on it's OWN... if you put chocolate on a Brussels sprout... it's still a Brussels sprout :)

I did love the formula, and so I gave it 3 lippies... but the color just did nothing for me.

NC25, dark brown hair and hazel eyes for reference!

This color isn't super flattering on me, but works sometimes if I want to tone down my (very pigmented) lips when I'm wearing a lot of eyeshadow and don't want to look overdone. Works good with a gloss, or over a colorful lipstick that you want to subdue a bit. I wouldn't buy it again as i can't really wear it alone.

My HG lipstick, i love this lipstick and is definitely my favorite. I been using MAC's hue lipstick for years! and finally last year decided to try new lipsticks since hue it was the only one I own from their permanent line so I back to mac for three lipsticks and i got blankety included, and i don't regret it because is such a gorgeous pinky nude color that suites very well my (NC30) skin tone. Im on a my second tube and once Im done will definitely buy or back to mac for another one. I really love nude lipsticks that are more in the pinky or peachy color side than the pale, concealer, deathly looking LOL! !! . Really love MAC's blankety!!

I really love this "nude". I have a lot of lighter nudes such as Please Me, Creme de Cup, Snob, Angel etc. which I really like it's just that they take a bit more of an effort to pull off and so usually I wear them on outings when I'll be taking more time to apply my make-up. Therefore I wanted a more "wearable" and go to nude for everyday without washing me out and without having to wear a lot of make up to balance it out either. This one fit the bill! FYI: Blonde hair, pale skin with yellow undertones-but tan in the summer.

I love Blankety for its color as well as for being an amplified cream, the best formulation IMO. Blankety is a beautiful nudey-pink color that goes with almost any look. When in doubt, this is my go-to color. I will definitely repurchase when I run out. I love it!
