Are you all kidding me? Why is this product not working for me? I was like waiting for a miracle to happen. And the tube, my gosh, it seemed like nothing was in there. Are you really serious with all the positive reviews? I want to believe that I got a "defective" product but I know that can't happen. I will return to the store where I bought this. Will go back to Falsies.

I tried this mascara after reading reviews online, and I am surprised how it made my lashes look! It does make my lashes look very natural, full and elongated. I'm not sure if everyone curls their lashes with lash curler first, but I do, and this mascara holds my curls throughout the day. My one complaint is, and it seems like whenever I wear Maybelling mascaras, it tends to rub off under my eyes, so I have to constantly check the mirror...maybe it's because I have oily skin and lids. I somewhat solved the problem by coating another coat of the regular Fulll 'N Soft Mascara after the waterproof one. For some reason, the regular one doesn't rub off as often. I do this because wearing the regular version alone doesn't hold my curls. I like the brush because it's what creates the fullness.

People who like dramatic eyelashes are probably not going to like this, but this mascara works fine for my purposes. I have long lashes, and my problem is that they don't hold a curl and they're very fragile (I have a collagen degeneration disease which makes taking care of my hair and skin a real freaking joy). I got the Full 'n Soft because I hate crunchy eyelashes, and I was afraid of losing all of mine if I used the Colossal on a daily basis. In general I am happy with this product.

+ Your lashes WILL stay soft and you can definitely wear this mascara every day and pull of natural looks with ease
+ The waterproof version comes off relatively easy with baby oil. I don't have to rub which I appreciate, since I lose tons of lashes that way
+ Fans lashes out. Fantastic if you have plenty of long lashes and just want to make the best of them
+ The black is very black

- This has flaked on me a few times :(
- It doesn't hold curl well, but I have that problem with every single mascara I've used, so maybe other people will have better luck
- The brush is not the best ever, but you can easily just save a wand that works for you and use that instead, because the formula is nice
- It gets very clumpy as soon as it starts drying out, but it's not too huge a problem if you're willing to use a lash-comb and spend a little extra time on your eyes


So this mascara isn't for people who love dramatic eyes and tons of volume and length. But if you hate spiderleg eyelashes or if you want something that's not as harsh on your lashes for everyday use, you might want to give this a try. It often goes on sale at drugstores so if you get one then and end up not liking it, at least you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. You should toss your mascara out every six months anyway, so :P

This is my favourite mascara of all time. My lashes are definitely fuller, however I would not recommend this as a volumizing mascara. It darkens my lashes to make them look thicker, but the look is very natural and not dramatic. It also does not go rock hard and my lashes still feel pretty soft. It never clumps and my lashes look a bit longer too.

The only reason why I give a rating of 4 is because of the smudging. I do have a greasy eye area, but even with powder that stays on my eye area all day, the mascara smudges around the corners.

I had high expectation for this. My lashes do seem soft and full. Definitely gives a natural look. If your lashes are naturally curled, then this would be great for you. But it didn't hold up curls for my straight lashes. And the look wasn't very dramatic either. The Falsies and Colossal waterproof worked a lot better for me. I also didn't like the big brush it came with...

I feel as if I have found my HG mascara! After years of going through several different drugstore mascara, I have finally found the mascara that will keep my straight Asian lashes curled! I had been using the non-waterproof one for two years before I decided to try put the waterproof version and am completely happy I did. The formula is less wet compared to the other and my curl lasts practically all day! And trust me, for my lashes, that is an absolute miracle. With my Ponds cold cream, this mascara comes off with ease!

I have been told that waterproof mascaras aren't good for your eyelashes and will make them brittle but I try to counteract that by rubbing a bit of Vaseline on my eyelashes before bed. The packaging isn't anything special but I couldn't care less about that. I will definitely repurchase 'til the end of time.

Bought this after reading some good reviews :) I got it from eBay for around £3.50! Which I thought was a bargain (also saw it in shops for similar price!) I usually don't go for normal mascara brushes i prefer rubbery wands but this was packaged nicely and smelles a little funny but after a few coats it did exactly what it says it will. My lashes were soft and fluffy, very different to my usual look but worked all the same, didn't really rate the volume on this, but it did make my lashes look nice and held a curl. For girls who like natural looking lashes this is very soft and very light, I like a bit more drama with my lashes so sadly it won't be replacing my normal mascara but for the price I would defiantly not have the ignorance to knock this product, it works better than some high end mascaras, it just has a certain look. Waterproof was pretty standard :) thumbs up !

my ride or die mascara! not over the top, and perfect for school! not to mention the amazing staying power in the pool, rain, or teary eye moments. it separates, volumizes, lengthens, and has never EVER clumped my lashes. i recommend this to everyone! it does exactly what it says. makes ur lashes full an soft. so bye bye to crunchy lashes!

I really like this mascara, it might be a new HG mascara. I'm a mascara junkie, and I'm always looking for an inexpensive drugstore mascara that does everything I want. For a long time I used Clinique mascaras, but they just became too expensive, and unlike many I didn't like Dior's mascara because I felt it was way too clumpy. This, however, I really like. It separates my lashes and lengthens them, which is what I like, and it doesn't make them crunchy or hard. I've had a bad habit lately of picking at my lashes when they get crunchy, and no matter how hard I try I just can't stop. Because of it, my lashes have been sparse and shorter than they can be, which I hate because I'm a big lash girl. With this, it never gets crunchy or flaky, and doesn't clump, so there isn't anything to pick at! It does take quite a few coats to get the look I want, because it is light, but I don't mind spending the time to get my lashes to look like I want them to.
