This one was recommended by a fried whose fianc'e gifted her this one for valentine's day.
I simply love the smell and the romantic red bottle and ofcourse the name itself spells "romance"
This is a gorgeous spicy fragrance that lasts for ages and ages, it seeps through my skin and the moment i spray it on I feel instantly refreshed and oh so good smelling :)
I keep mine in the fridge at times and apply on wrists and neck especially when going out for dinner, such a woody smell, simply lifts me up!
I love this. It's a warm, unique, sexy fragrance. I don't wear it every day, I like to save it for more special occasions because it's kind of expensive. It's nice especially for cooler weather and evenings. The bottle is gorgeous! Very dramatic. I was telling someone the other day, when I wear Amor Amor I feel like the heroine in a Gothic romance novel ~ it makes me think of adventure and romance, and a brooding castle in the middle of some lonely moors. Another good thing is that it's subtle, not overpowering at all. *edit* I've noticed that this has some really interesting woody notes that come out the longer you wear it. It's a very deep and complex scent and I think it's great.

I like this perfume but I usually buy perfumes for the drydown, and this one has a sharpness that lasts...and lasts...When you first smell it, Amor Amor reminds you a bit of Samsara, but with more of a pepper note, and it is the pepper note that won't go away. I like the bottle I have but probably won't rebuy. I also don't like that it does not have a top per se.

I absolutely love this! This is a gorgeous spicy, fruity fragrance with a warm woody base that lasts for ages. I got a gift pack with fragrance, body lotion and shower gel for an absolute steal and layering with all 3 is just heavenly!! For me, a must have for the cooler months.
Adore this. My old roomie had this and I used to steal a spray when I could :) Then I bought my own. It works with my chemistry. Maybe not everyone. It dries down to a fruity/cedar smell on me which may sound odd but it works! I constantly smell my wrist when this is on. My boyfriend likes it too. Works well for chilly evenings. Sultry and flirty. I will have to hunt some of this down (ebay etc..) when my bottle runs out. I savor it as one of my "special" lesser used fragrances. The bottle is gorgeous and I don't mind the top as others have stated, then again, I have a smaller bottle. My only gripe is that this only seems to last an hour or two- other times it lasts for a few.
overall: i really like this scent. i have a thing for sweet, fruity fragrances like hanae mori. unlike hanae mori, amor amor is much more young and obvious. it's definitely not a summer scent. when i'm wearing amor amor, people are always asking me what scent i'm wearing. i'm actually really sad that it's been discontinued.
package: red is my favorite color so , of course, i like the bright red, glass bottle. i don't like that metal wire around the top though.
price: $54 USD for 100 ml
Smells nice, I like it but wouldn't buy it. Not too special or rare - a typical gourmand scent, sweet and fruity floral and a bit more sophisticated than the rest of the lot. Slightly reminicent of Cinema, but I prefer Cinema over this since the grapefruit and blackcurrant and lily-of-the-valley gives the fragrance a slightly sharper twist which would turn on me when the colder months sets in.
A summery fragrance, but not for me. And I don't like the bottle.
I'm guessing that if you like Rush from Gucci, you would like Amor Amor too.
UPDATE: My friend loves this, and it smells good on her. She also loves L'eau d'Issey, Cool Water, Obsession Night, and Chanels's Coco if it is of any help.
UPDATE2: This smells on others as Cinema smells on me.

A fruity floriental with a woody base. An uncomplicated and youthful, sexy & romantic, slightly gothic aura. (The writing on the bottle....)
The notes i first get are: rhubarb, sour elements with sweet, berry and vanilla, cotton candy, woods later in the base along with soft musk.
I love the faint hint of cherries in the fresh topnotes (although no cherry is listed officially) and the soft vanillic & woody drydown.
The official notes are:
Top note : Pink grapefruit, blood orange, blood orange, black currant
Middle note : Lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, melati blossom
Base note : Ambregris, vanilla, white musk, tonka bean
(Melati=Jasmine sambac)
Lasting power is not overwhelming but ok. Definately a re-buy! B/f regularly compliments on it and says it reminds him of Deep Red, as some others here stated, too, i even like it better and think it smells a bit like Délices, maybe with a little bit more vanilla in the middle- and base notes. I wonder why it gets so many negative and medium comments because imho it is a beneficient variety of all these berries and fruities around, it has a certain zing! Cacharel do of course make love-or-hate fragrances, i know that.
Very excited abot the new Elixir version now....

i had a sample of this a few months ago from Boots and it smells amazing...but as i was investing so much for my skin care products (dealing with hormonal breakouts at the moment!) so i didnt repurchase but...i couldnt resist it when i had a money off coupon to use at a pharmacy and i HAD to buy this perfume...its my HG, not too empowering or strong
