Settled into creases on my age 55 eyes and made me look a wrinkly 65- not the look I was I was looking for....

I like this on a conceptual level, but it is just too sheer and pale to make any sort of impact on my skin. It doesn't do what it touts itself to do, and provides no such light-refracting qualities as one would expect from such a product. So, it is basically a opalescent tube of nothing....

Not sure what this is supposed to do, but I know it didn't do anything for me. Didn't conceal undereye circles, didn't depuff, didn't illuminate, nada. Goes on a ghastly white, like the color of Elmer's glue, but you can spread it so that it absorbs. After that, don't really see a difference in my undereye area.

This didn't do anything for me really. I guess it kind of gave it an illuminating sheen, but not doesn't last long. It's not very expensive but for not doing much for my under eye area it doesn't justify it. Will not repurchase

Sadly, BeneFit products never fail to disappoint me. I had high hopes for this one, but it didn't do much. It does give a tiny bit of pearlescence to the eye area, but lift? Mmmmmmmmmmm -no. I think I'll go back to Avon's Anew duo eye cream.

this is a staple for me. my skin is really pale, and i can see where this would not work for someone who is really tan. this is makeup ladies, not an under eye treatment. the way i use this is i dot it on under my eyes and then blend with my pinky finger. let it dry. then apply concealer/foundation or whatever your regular routine is. this product is like a mini instant eye lift. perfect for when you were out late the night before or had a few too many drinks. i get dark bags under my eyes and when i use this, it instantly brightens and lifts them. the formula feels cooling when you apply, which i like. you can keep it in your purse and reapply on really bad baggy eye days.

The first thing you should know is there are TWO reviews for this product on this site. Someone on the other page really nailed it.

***The reason this product is getting mixed reviews is that BeneFit is not clear on it's intended purpose, or instructions on how to use it.***

BUT!! Having said that, I still love this product. It brightens those dark circles a little, and the shimmer really helps to bounce the light. It's creamy and soft, and leaves my skin feeling amazing. I tend to have troubles with my makeup drying out my skin during the day.

I'd buy this again, even though it was a little expensive. ($28 CDN, I believe.) I'm just hoping this product doesn't run out super fast. Because then I'll be looking for something else that lasts longer.

Long Review:
I'm super crazy pale (like.. I have to use white gothic face powder as a translucent/setting powder), and so for me the lightness of this product is perfect. I always have trouble with foundations and concealers being waaay too dark for me.

My friend, who's much darker than me, tried it out while we were at the store and it looked like she put white shimmering eye shadow under her eyes. For this reason, she insisted that I shouldn't get it. But I did anyway, and I really like it. This product is definitely for those of us who are on the pale side of the skin colour palette.

-- Application -- I personally use it before foundation and powders because I have to apply mine extremely lightly to avoid it looking caked on, or too dark for my skin. (I tried it after foundation, and it basically took mine off because of how little foundation I'm actually able to use.) Since my coverage is so sheer, the pale pink shimmer of Ooh La Lift showed through just enough to brighten my eyes, and make me look awake. Even after only 4 hours of sleep.

It was definitely more like liquid than I was expecting. I followed the little bit of instruction the box did actually have (which is inside on a paper, printed in several different languages) which tells you to put on 3 dots under your eyes and dab to blend it in. I almost put on more than that the first time, thinking that it didn't look like enough. But after I put on the rest of my makeup, I was glad I hadn't put on more. continued >>

Bought this because one of my friends recommended it for brightening the eye area. However, I was disappointed with the result. It looks shimmery and nice but looks ashy gray upon application. My undereye area looked very un-natural. I think this product only works for pale white skin. Since I have a yellow beige skin tone, it does not work.
