Lovely colour and such a contrast against my fair asian skin. I REALLY like this colour. It looks sexy and sweet at the same time. A very deep blueish red.
This looks good with short manicured nails. I got this at a manicure as i wanted OPI Lincoln Park After Dark but they didnt have it so they tried Bogota Blackberry on my nails and i fell in Love.
This has to be my second favourite after Rouge noir..Im trying to look for LPAF but can't find here in New Zealand.
I won't give this a 5 because unfortunately it chipped just after 48 hours. This is after using a base coar, 2 coats of BB and then a Top coat and whatever spray it is that the spary onto your nails after your manicure is done. I dont do house work and the chips are because of me typing too much.
However the shine is still obvious and the colour is absolutely FAB!!
I just wish it had more staying power.
I'm guessing that the burgundy must be something that comes out with certain skin tones because Bogota Blackberry has no burgundy tones for me. Against my cool-toned PPP skin, this is a slightly darkened berry red with a festive red shimmer. There are some very slight purple tones to it. If you are a fan of colors like OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress, Essie After Sex, or Essie Scarlett O'Hara, I'd definitely recommend you check out Bogota Blackberry. It has a similar lushness and shimmer, but darker than After Sex and more berry toned than INRAW. A fabulous color for tips or toes.
ETA: This is officially HG for me. I've put it on my toes twice and have decided that I would not EVER want to be without a bottle of it.
Truly a wonderful colour. I'm yellow-toned (NC30 or so), this looks amazing. I badly wanted a deep, dark, sort-of-cool winey-reddy colour and this fit the bill perfectly. I found "I'm Not Really a Waitress" too bright red for fingernails.
From my exceedingly limited research (one bottle of Essie, two bottles of Zoya, one bottle of Mavala), this is the best nail polish I've ever tried. The consistency is nice and thin. It is vey easy to apply -- it really is a lacquer! You do need to apply two or three coats (I do three) to get a good dark shade, but I find this an acceptable trade-off over goopy nail polishes (like the one Essie bottle I tried) that are near impossible to apply and make a big mess.
The brush is also great, It's easy for me to do the edges of my nails without going over onto the skin. This is an awesome, sexy colour and I couldn't be happier with it. One small thing; the colour starts to get slightly dull after a few days, I need to apply a topcoat to keep it shiny. continued >>

I just recently acquired this delicious shade of polish and it is a must have for me. It's a rich cool toned burgandy red with silver shimmer. It has OPI's quality formula and applies easily and evenly, dries to a high shine, and looks great as a tip or toe shade on me. I hope to always have a bottle of this new-found beauty in my collection!
Excellent shade of burgandy. Perfect for the fall. Looks great on anyone. It's better sited for those with shorter fingernails.
This lives up to its name, this is a dark pearlescent blue based red/burgundy color. It is perfect on my toes, and during the winter/holiday months. This looks very formal, since it's so dark I wouldn't wear this color everyday. The only downside is this color seems to last a day or two before it chips, this seems to be a downside to the pearlescent/metallic colors in the OPI line.
A purpley red wine colour with a nice smooth shiney finish! The application of this was excellent; it didn't streak or apply goopy which I sometimes find with other dark colours. Very pretty.
My co-worker is one of the beautiful, hard working and dedicated employees in our office. She SWEARS by this color for the fall the season. Borgata Blackberry really is the jewel of her eye and suitable for any lifestyle. From the drawing rooms of London and Paris to the markets of Kensington and Mayfair, Borgata Blackberry gets my highest ratings!
