i was surprised to read all the negative reviews about stinging, rashes, etc. this actually works pretty well for me, but i don't wear heavy eye-makeup or any waterproof stuff. i like that it doesn't irritate my skin (i've had bad reactions to other products) and i usually just rinse it off with water, as the bottle instructions say. this is one of the few products that i've bought again.
This is a non-oily, gentle eye makeup remover. It is not scented and does a pretty good job of getting everything off. Great to try if oily ones irritate your eyes.
I just LOVE this product! I got it yesterday and tried it out today. What I can I say? This product is a keeper! It removes everything well and it takes care of the lashes. All you need to do is dampen a ball of cottonwool with this product, press it gently on the eye for a few seconds and gently remove. I have tried many an eye makeup remover but none were as great as this one. With regards to the price - it is true that it is not dirt cheap, but I would rather spend 10 Euros more on a product which will take care of my skin and lashes...
I agree wholeheartedly with negative reviews. I got 50ml sample bottle of this product as a gwp and there is no way I will be spending money on it even though it seems to be on a more affordable side of things. The problem: while leaving no oily residue it does not remove eyeliner. Major flaw. Also it wasn't terribly soothing. I felt like I was "washing" my eyelids with copious amounts of detergent just to get the makeup off. Useless thing! That being said I did manage to finish the bottle.
Works great on regular wear eye makup but didnt work at all for waterproof mascara. Doesnt leave a oily residue and rinses off easily.
Will only buy again if not using any waterproof makeup at all.
I have been using this for years. When I get low I run out and get another bottle. It just works. No residue is left which I love. I don't like for my eyelids to feel greasy which I have gotten from other removers before I discovered this. I've only tried a new remover once since I began using this and immediately went back to it after a day of the other stuff. Don' fix what ain't broken. I love it.
This does not remove my eye makeup at all. After I wipe it with a cotton pad over my eyes many many times, only a little bit comes off. I wear diorshow blackout waterproof mascara. Lancome, although oilier, works way better. I would not buy this again.
The following review is semi-tongue-in-cheek. I won't repurchase.
This is very good if you'd like your black eyeliner to last more than one day. I tightline with Bobbi Brown's gel liner and can get two days worth out of it because the Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent doesn't remove it. The next morning I wake up with my eyes still beautifully defined. Bonus! All I have to do is put some of the solvent on a Q tip to tidy up the black smudges under my eye. It takes away the rest of my eye make-up first go though, including non-waterproof mascara. I doubt it would easily remove waterproof mascara. It has a watery, non-oily consistency and stings just a little if it gets in your eyes. Despite being able to double my BB eyeliner mileage, I'll be returning to my very oily Almay pads which take it all away first time every time.

I think it is one of the best makeup remover. I like it because it doesn't leave that oily residue on my skin. I used Mary Kay for a long time , but now I am planning to switch to this one. If you don't like oily ones, give it a shot!!!
