This toner is great. It is pretty strong (contains alcohol) so sometimes it is drying, but of course I apply moisturizer after. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this toner. I wouldn't say it refined my pores or made my blackheads disappear, but I definitely think it got rid of excess make up and left my skin clean. Maybe I'll try a different product, but wouldn't mind buying this again. does it's job as a toner, not necessary a pore refiner.

skin: Normal. I have visible black/white heads on the nose and visible pores on nose and use to have a bit of visible pores on cheeks.

method of use: Use it in the morning (different toner for night time). Dabbed a LITTLE on cotton ball and swipe in upward motion (I just find the upward motion helps to make the pore refining result even better). Lightly pat face to let the rest of the toner soak into the skin before moisturizing.

result: It refined my pores- the pores on my cheeks are invisible now. Got rid of black/heads on the nose, temporarily, which makes the pores seems smaller during the day.

I will definitely buy again. When using just the right amount of product, the smell is very pleasant. But if cotton ball/pad is soaked with the toner, the smell becomes overpowering.

This product did NOT work on my face. It just burned and dried my skin so badly. SUCKED! =/

I have fairly normal skin that suffers from regular problems like slightly oilier in the summer and drier in the winter.
Last month, I broke out horribly. It was highly unusual for me since I didnt consider my skin to be sensitive and I wasnt using any different products. (It turned out to be that my cleanser pump was broken and dirty water/shampoo/etc went in the bottle in the shower)
Frustrated, I bought the pore refining toner and the first week or so wasnt too bad. It actually helped my t-zone stay matte during the day. But after the 2nd week, my cheeks started to dry out and I started getting rashes and little bumps. Not knowing that the toner was the problem, I continued to use it until my cheeks were RED and raw. I cried that night.
I stopped using the toner for 3 days and my skin is calmer and happier.

*there's so much alcohol, witch hazel, glycolic acid, salicrylic(?) acid... all in one product.

This product does work as a general purpose toner. My pores do appear smaller, but my pores are sinkholes to begin with so using a toner at all helps. I think it works well enough, but the product as a whole isn't outstanding. I believe that there are a lot of toners that do the exact same thing, some cheaper, some more expensive.

Overall I didn't like it. I used it for a month and it didn't do anything. Plus I only use toners in the summer time on my T-Zone areaes especially my nose/chin. It didn't feel clean nor did it shrink my pores. So if I were you STAY AWAY from it!

DO NOT BUY THIS TONER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. This product is made of DENATURED ALCOHOL (35%) which is very damaging to your skin and promotes FREE RADICAL DAMAGE!!! Alcohol dries your skin and damages your skin cells which also closes pores. There are BETTER toners out there that close pores and do not damage your skin like this one! My face was so irritated and stinging after using one quick swipe of this.

hate the smell - too powering

I think this is a great toner. I was using Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion but was starting to wonder if maybe it was a little TOO mild. I've tried the other Clinique toners before and knew I wasn't going there again. So I began looking for a drugstore toner that had salicylic acid in it and stumbled upon this one. Since there's only a slight amount of salicylic and glycolic acid, I hoped that it would help clear my skin of oil and makeup after washing without drying it out. At first I wasn't that impressed as it was by no means a miracle acne fighter. But after using it for over a week now, I'm definitely seeing improvement. My skin is much smoother and clearer lately thanks in part to this toner.

I've been using this now for about a week and I can see a HUGE difference already. And I like what I see! I can tell that it is helping keep my skin clear, I got one pimple when I first started using it (I dont associate it to this toner though, it was just hormonal) and using this twice a day the pimple was gone in 2 days. My skin is alot smoother, I feel that it is lightening some of my acne scars as well! I cant wait to see how great my skin is going to look after a month or two of use. I will update then. And I will definately repurchase!
