I've been using this every time I get out of the shower since December. I massage it in in a circular motion and It's cut down on cellulite by 60% and stretchmarks aren't that noticable anymore, which both were on my bum. My scars seemed to have been made less noticable as well. I never liked the smell till I started using it...it doesn't smell like chocolate to me but I do like it.

What a great moisturiser! I absolutely adore the chocolate smell, it is quite strong but not overpowering (in my opinion) so if you don't like sweet chocolatey scents you might want to avoid it. The lotion is very thick and takes a little longer to absorb than other lotions but it is completely worth it because it is so moisturising. If you have dry skin anywhere on your body, this will work. My skin isn't dry, but my sister sometimes gets little scaley bits on her legs. This works really well for her, her legs look a lot smoother pretty much straight after application. Use it once a day, and any dry patches will disappear. I don't find it to be stick or greasy on my body, but I don't really like it on my hands. I usually wash my hands after using it, but it feels absolutely fine on my body. Must just be me. Very cheap, really easy to find, and very good quality. As long as you don't mind sweet smells because you can smell it for a while after application (which is definitely not a bad thing!) then I would definitely recommend it.

I feel kinda bad giving this a bad review, but I just hate it. I don't find it very moisturizing but what really gets me is the smell. I don't know why the smell of coco butter is offensive to me, but it just is. But had this been more moisturizing, I probably would have gotten over it.

I instead use 100% shea butter from Africa.

The smell of this lotion is gorgeous, and I have travel sized bottles of this all over the place. It works, and I find it non greasy and fairly fast to absorb. Makes me wonder why I chased the fast absorbing products being advertised right now in Oz. I'm still chasing my HG but this is getting there - there are a few ingredients I'd rather not see, but there are a few skin friendly ones in there too. It spreads easily and a little goes a fair way. I just wish they nailed the packaging, it's such a thick cream that the travel bottles get clogged and the pumps are sometimes troublesome.

I absolutely love this and have brought countless bottles over the years. My skin is quite dry, despite my face being fairly oily so this works wonders to soothe and make my skin soft and smooth. Absorbs quite easily but if you use too much can become a little greasy-like. Smells like a chocolate bar too!

My favorite hand cream!!!! This is really moisturizing for my hands. It doesn't leave my hands greasy at all. I have a bottle on my night stand and a baby size in my purse. This smells like chocolate/cacao so if you don't like that, then this isn't a good product for you.

Absolutely my HG cream...I am never without it! I use it almost exclusively as a hand cream, but when I'm not feeling lazy/low-maintenance, I'll bench the spray dry oil and slather this on my body - and it's sooo worth it! I'm among those who love the smell...it's chocolately and delicious. In my experience, it's also a big ol' aphrodisiac for the male gender. ;) My skin soaks this up like nobody's business, and it doesn't feel greasy or thick on my hands. For me, a little goes a long way, as well. The softness it has created is a treasure...my hands used to be callused and dry from years of gymnastics, but they are so delicate and feminine now. I'll repurchase over and over. I highly recommend.

This is the only moisturiser I have to not burn/sting open wounds or rashes. I have lived with eczema since birth and during winter my skin becomes incredibly dry causing flare-ups and I resort to drenching my entire body in lotion of some sort. So far Palmer's Cocoa Butter has been the best, surpassing both Jergens and Cetaphil. Plus it smells yummy!

Finally getting round to writing a review on this product which has literally transformed my skincare routine.

MY SKIN
Firstly, let me say that I am a skincare product JUNKIE - moisturisers, face washes, cleansers, toners, treatments, scrubs, masks...my bathroom is filled to the brim with products that I just don't use. I have oily combination skin, when I say oily I mean that with or without applying makeup (bare minerals) at about 7 or 8 in the morning, my skin is horrendously shiny by 11 o clock. Furthermore, constant experimenting with products over the years combined with teenage hormones mean that my skin was constantly breaking out, mercilessly producing clogged pores, blackheads, whiteheads etc. I have dark skin that is prone to scarring, and the acne left deep dark marks across my cheeks and forehead. My skin was so awful at one point that I dreaded looking in the mirror without a full face of makeup, and it began to crush my self confidence. Sorry about the long story, onto the review --

I first purchased this when I decided to make peace with my skin and try to reduce the chemicals that I was putting on it. Probably would be even better if you use pure cocoa butter, as this is the 'formula'

PACKAGING
I had heard good reviews on this, so I went out and bought it for a mere £3.73 at superdrug with 250 ml (it was the one without the pump to make it more travel friendly. The pump bottle - 400ml - is £5.20). A hell of a lot cheaper than my 6 or 7 quid botanics moisturiser for a measly 75 ml :/
Nice packaging, white bottle with light blue sticker, otherwise nothing special. Have heard complaints about getting the product out but I find its ok, just dont leave the lid open or it will dry and clump the cream and make it harder to get out.

PRODUCT
Pale yellow, smells GORGEOUS :) otherwise, as I said before, nothing special.
Or is it????? :):)

******* USES ******

This is where I was gobsmacked.

SKIN (FACE MOISTURISER)
I began to use this on my face a few weeks ago, despite being slightly nervous about the mineral oil :/
When I first applied it, it sank in almost immediately (only using a small amount) and my skin looked fresh yet not oily. I went to sleep, and the next morning my skin seemed brighter, healthier, and no breakouts!! Don't get me wrong, it wasn't like I had a new face, my scars and acne were still there, but it didn't seem like it had aggravated my touchy skin. I began to use it in the day, and slowly but surely my skin has improved. I now only have a few small pimples, and skin looks radiant with the dark marks definitely reduced (the best bit, since my horrendously expensive clinique dark mark remover had failed me). Best of all - reduced oiliness!! During the day I no longer have to blot, and although my skin is oily it's bearable. Probably wouldn't recommend this for people with very sensitive skin, but this is definitely my go to face moisturiser

BODY MOISTURISER
This is by far the best body moisturiser I have ever used! I have some faint stretch marks from losing weight, and this seems to be helping a lot. When I apply this in the morning, it lasts ALL DAY, which is a big deal for me as my elbows and knees are ofter white because they are so dry! The cocoa butter also appears to be evening out my skin tone - again, it's not a miracle and not overnight, but I'm so pleased to visibly be able to mark improvement that I don't mind waiting.
As a body moisturiser, this has also done something that I never expected anything could do. It seems to have...er... 'firmed' some areas of my body, notably around the chest area. I don't think I need to go into too much detail, but the long and short of it is that the stretch marks are reduced and everything just seems to be firmed up and younger. Pleased? I think so :):)
Plus, I forgot to put perfume on that day, and for the first time, I was complimented on my smell!! Bonus :)
It's also meant to be good for skin conditions such as eczema, however I do not have it so I can't really comment on that.

MAKEUP REMOVER (oh yes!!)
After buying a lovely new Revlon Colour stay eyeliner, I seemed to always have racoon eyes after showers, meaning that it hadn't been removed properly. I would literally scrub my eyes with makeup remover, baby wipes and makeup wipes, confident that I had removed everything, only to later find it running down my face. I experimented with Olive oil to remove makeup, it worked well. Then I began thinking, maybe the cocoa butter would work? A few minutes of research later, I plastered on eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara, smudged some coca butter onto a cotton pad, and swiped my eyes a few times. Looking down, the cotton pad was black. Looking up, nearly all of my eye makeup had gone. Impressed, I swiped my eyes a few more times then turned the pad over and wiped the remaining cocoa butter from my eyes. Not only did they have no eye makeup on, but they looked clean and moisturised, almost exactly the same as the olive oil but without the greasy finish.

Overall, this product has become my HG for almost everything. Used in conjunction with my black soap every night (also fantastic), I really feel that this has improved my skin on my face and body. I purchased a small travel sized cocoa butter formula for travel, and I'm excited to try other palmer's products, although I don't think they could match up to this one.
I'm sure I'll come back to update this in a few months, but for now, I highly recommend this product, it's cheap, smells great, and has many purposes.

**UPDATE**
Although I still love the product, the heavy fragrance began to react with my skin and become a little overpowering. I've changed to the fragrance free version which I love! continued >>
