HG Status, being the very best product to give that glow and hydrate my face. After trying all those ridiculously expensive products, I feel like a fool. I layer this over a serum that suits my skins needs and apply over, down my neck and on hands. Will NEVER be without. Perfect for removing eye makeup and use as an eye cream!

Definitely for those with dry skin! If you are oily or acne-prone then this is likely to make it worse. My skin seems to change seasonally (more oily in the summer, dry in the winter), and this is my go-to for the cold, dry months. It absorbs easily and makes my dry, tight skin feel so much better. A little bit goes a long way--I usually only use one jar all winter. I'm not a fan of the packaging, though. I'm at the bottom of my jar and can barely reach the last bit of moisturizer! The best part of the deal is the price. This works much better for me than the expensive department store brands.
PROS
- hydrates
- prevents peeling of the skin
- leaves skin feeling very soft
CONS
- greasy
- clogs pores/caused breakouts
COMMENTS
I applied this overnight, since it is too greasy for me to use during the day. I woke up to very soft skin...with a whole lot of whiteheads. I'll use it as a hand cream or something, but won't be buying again.
Will not repurchase.

I normally like to wait until I've used a product for a while before reviewing it, but I've been using this for a few days and it's become my holy grail face cream!
During the day I use Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion with SPF. During the summer when it's humid, I don't usually need a night cream, but it's almost December now and my face has felt dry and tight after I wash my face at night. I went on the hunt for a good night cream and discovered this at CVS. (FYI: The CVS version has exactly the same ingredients for several bucks cheaper).
I've been using this for a few nights after washing my face (I used a cornmeal scrub one night) and my skin has never looked better. You only need a tiny dab to cover your whole face, and I find that the cream sinks in pretty quickly--my face doesn't feel wet when I get into bed. It smells a lot like baby powder, but the smell doesn't bother me, particularly because it doesn't linger long.
I was astonished by how soft my face felt after using this for just one night, let alone a few. I'm 6 months pregnant with my second child and having some acne issues, so I was worried that wearing a cream at night might make me break out even more. Nope! In fact, some of my breakouts have gone away completely after I started using this. I guess my face was a little dehydrated. In the mornings, my face is still soft but not greasy.
I only spent about $5.50 for one tub of this, and I can't imagine having to replenish it before next winter, even if I use it every night!

This is great stuff! I'm going through my second bottle of it and it's taken care of any dry patches :) I wouldn't recommend using this during the day (maybe lightly) because it can make you look like a greaseball (hence why I use it at night). My skin is very very sensitive to skin products and I break out all the time, but this doesn't make it worse, plus it calms any dry acne spots I have. I use it every night now since my skin will start to get a little dryer from the winter, and I really don't think I'm ever going to go back to trying out different moisturizers.
A little over a year and two months later (1/15/2013):
I still love this. It's getting me through an acne treatment that dries out the skin. I have noticed that although I have had cystic acne for about 5-6 years, my skin does not look damaged, and my dermatologist says my skin will not suffer any long term damage. People always comment on how young I look (I'm 20, but people always say I look like I'm 16). I use this every night and day during the winter, and during the summer, I switch to a sunscreen moisturizer during the day. I have recommended this to two of my friends, and they both told me they love it. If you are traveling, you can just take this tub and use it for your whole body, a little goes a long way. Sorry guys if I sound way too obsessed, but I feel that this stuff has singlehandedly saved my skin from permanent damage.

I live in Minnesota and severely needed an overnight cream for the winter. I was getting dry, flaky, red skin from the cold wind and was having trouble finding a product since I'm a teenager with slightly oily acne-prone skin. This was great. The product is noncomodogenic, so it doesn't break me out, and it smooths away the dry patches. I only use it when my skin is exrtemely dry otherwise it's too much. For it's purpose it works great.

I'm in love with this stuff! I have oily skin so I thought that this would break my skin out or clog my pores but it actually doesn't. My best friend uses this and I was at her house and I ran out of my moisturizer so I tried some of this. Its really wonderful. Even when I was using this in the summer I didn't have problems with it breaking my skin out. I use a different moisturizer in the morning because I want something that's not so heavy during the day. I use this all over my body. I put it on my hands, feet, elbows, and any other dry skin and it gets rid of any dry patches so fast. One of the pros about this is that its super cheap. I can get a jar of it for about 2.50 and it lasts so long because you barely need to use any of it. The only con about this is that it has mineral oil in it but it doesn't bother my skin so I don't really worry about it.

I've used this in combination with Ponds Cold Cream and Lever 2000 original soap as a face wash and baby oil eye makeup remover for years, since I was a teenager. I am 27 now, the time when wrinkles begin to appear. Compared to some people my age, I have very few wrinkles. I often get compliments on my appearance and people often ask me what I use on my skin.
I put a dab of this around my eyes every morning under my foundation, but I only use it all over my face about 2-3 times weekly, otherwise it tends to be too much for my skin.
I love this product! This is my go-to moisturizer when winter/dry/cold weather arrives. I've noticed my skin getting dry and flaky even though it's only October so I busted out the Ponds a little early. This stuff totally revitalizes my skin within a few uses. I only use it at night because it is a little oily, and you don't need much to get the job done. I even use it on my hands before bed because I wash my hands a lot and they tend to try out fast. I love that it's cheap and a container lasts forever...I even love the smell, which my husband says smells like old lady, but it reminds me of my grandma (and she had fabulous skin well into old age, so clearly she was onto something!) It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and for the cost, it's so worth it...I highly recommend it if you live in a dry/cold climate and have skin that's on the dry side!

When I was a teenager I remember trying this thinking it was too thick and would make me break out..now that my skin's settled down at 31, (and I'm careful not to put too much at breakout prone areas,) this is a nice change from the oil-free and gel moisturizers I'd been using. Feels so nourishing and like the other people said, feels truly hydrating. It smells really nice, I do not mind the powdery smell at all. Plus--I had itchy arms and it cured them with the first try, after using the Lubriderm "for itchy dry skin" for awhile, which did nothing. Pond's dry skin cream is great.
