FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot BELIEVE I have found a sunscreen that doesn't make me break out. I really had given up hope. Great GREAT product and I will use this forever. *fist pumps*
I have used this product for several years now and it's one of the best daily sunscreens I've found for acne-prone, oily skin. It might cause a breakout here or there but more or less it disappears into the skin amazingly, all the way up to the SPF 70. Don't expect a lot of moisturizing but you get a bit. Also, it's quite affordable and easy to grab at the drugstore!
goes on smooth . does not make face shiny at all
makes the skin soft and matte ...has a very soft scent
i love it..i did not feel any burning around my eyes ...no irritation..great!
Really, really great is basically how I can descrive this in 3 words. :) I got this in a pack of 2 PLUS a Neutrogena lip balm with SPF for $15 at Costco. Absolutley amazing deal considering they stand around $13-$15 for one bottle at drugstores. I like to keep my complexion fair so I use sunscreen summer-winter. This one bottle lasts forever! There is a lot of product in there. A tiny bit goes a long way. Dry to the touch finish makes my foundation look better also! Does not have a strong smell, and the formula doesn't burn my face, though I have very sensitive skin, this doesn't sting my face at all. Will definatly repurchase. I've tried many, many sunscreens, but this one is superior to all of them.
I love this sunscreen! I especially love that it isn't greasy at all and it absorbs very quickly. I haven't used it on my face yet so I don't know if this will break me out but I will continue to use it on my body. I will definitely repurchase.
I bought this because of the good reviews, and I love it! It absorbs quickly onto my face without feeling greasy or shiny, and it doesn't leave a white cast. What else can I say about this product? No problems whatsoever. I will definitely repurchase.
I used to use this when it first came out on the market & my skin was hyper-oily in those days. I liked the dry powdery matte touch it left on my face. I hate sunblock lotions that are sticky, shiny, & feel like a mask when I wear them (which was basically all sunblock lotions). This sunscreen made it easy to apply makeup after it dried. I'm bad about keeping up an SPF routine, so I only use sunblock on my face in the summertime when I'm out in the sun (yeah I know that's bad). Now that I'm using a fade cream to fade some discoloration on my face that developed over the years (well duh I had it coming), I'll need to restart being vigilant w/SPF. Even the fade cream label instructs sunscreen use. I may go back to using this again even though my skin is no longer greasy like it once was (my face dried up) & I no longer break out. The one thing I didn't like about this is that it always stung & burned my eyes nonetheless. I may try other SPF products first, such as treatment or moisture lotions with added sunscreen. But as far as straight sunblock goes, I really like Celazome (a/k/a Lyphazome) Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 30 UVA/UVB lotion (online order only) because the initial application lasts all day long & isn't heavy on my face. Only prob is it leaves a moist, dewy finish... good or bad? IDK yet.
Either way, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch is a good sunscreen/sunblock. You just don't get a lot of product for the money, so definitely it's a strictly face & neck product.
My skin is always breaking out... i never use sunblock because everytime i did my skin would suffer and face always felt oily... but this guy is great. It feels light and soft... very noticeable difference. I bought it after watching a review of creams on You Tube. I've tried it twice and so far so good
This is my favorite of the Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch line, which I love. The finish works well, especially if you let it sit before applying makeup.
Of the Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch, I've tried 30, 55, and 70 (sample-size tubes). The higher the spf, the thicker the consistency *and* the whiter the cast left on the skin. Aesthetically, my NC42 skin "tops out" at spf 30. As far as I'm concerned (based on my quasi-casual web research), all the rest of that spf is overkill besides (spf 250, anyone?). My skin is sensitive (some dryness/redness/eczema, some acne due to clogged pores), but I haven't linked any breakouts to use of this product. What's more, I will swear that any breakouts I may have suffered due to this sunscreen (can't think of any) are far, FAR outnumbered by the breakouts caused by foundation primers -- it's no contest. It does sting the eyes on sweaty days, but that's different.
(This review is for the normal to oily face formulation)
I live in a tropical climate with regular temperatures of 30C and more than 90% humidity. I have pale, oily skin and in this weather it is very tempting to go without sunscreen - my skin gets very greasy during the day and to go outside is to sweat and start to burn within minutes.
So in this climate and with my skin type I REALLY need a light-weight, non-greasifying sunscreen - something that will spare me a thick and greasy face in the middle of a humid summer day - and so far Dry Touch has delivered. It absorbs into my skin within a few minutes and provides a good base for my makeup (mineral powder). I can't feel it at all once its properly applied which I am very surprised and pleased by. My t-zone does still get shiny within a few hours but honestly, I doubt there is anything that will stop oily skin getting shiny in 60+% humidity! It is not excessively disgusting shine which is good enough.
I am very pale already so I have not noticed any white cast after application. No breakouts (so far) and the smell is barely noticeable. At first I didn't like it (I tried it on my hand) but when applied to the face I can't smell it at all. Awesome.
I previously used a Japanese sunscreen with milk-water texture and I thought I would hate using a normal one again, however, I have found this to feel about the same once applied to my skin. Once winter comes and there is less humidity, I'll re-asses how it handles oil. Otherwise I highly recommend this sunscreen if you live in a humid, hot climate like I do and have oily skin.
