2 stars for the sweet almondy scent and 0 stars for the cream itself. The consistency is extremely thick, greasy and very sticky, and an unpleasant sticky coating stubbornly remains on the skin surface regardless of how much I rub.
I've actually purchased this hand cream 3 times and 2 times I threw it out long before the jar was empty. I'm really trying to use up my current jar, but I don't think I'll be able to do it.
I love this product! It doesn't take much of this to make your hands feel silky soft. I keep this on by bathroom counter; my husband especially like it as he works with grease & battery acid all day, and it's the only cream that helps heal his rough skin.
I like this product, although I'm not positive that I would buy it again. There are a few other great hand creams out there! Anyway, I enjoy Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream's soft marzipan scent and I think its mix of ingredients is really beneficial. It *does* take a long time to sink into skin, so I only use it at bedtime, when greasy hands won't be a problem because I'm about to turn off the light and go to sleep anyway. However, I think I prefer Lush Smitten, Helping Hands, or Handy Gurugu, or Santa Maria Novella Pasta di Mandorlo, over this cream. Of course, Burt's Bees is more natural... that's the dilemma. :)
I don't prefer the smell of this cream (almond oil) but it works amazing for an overnight treatment. I use on the bottoms of my feet, elbows, and knees and it does wonders. Works well on hands as well, but I would not use during the day. It does not absorb well, so I would recommend using overnight.
This product is awesome. I absolutely love the smell and wish it came in a bottle so I could add it to other products I have. At first I thought the jar was rather small but you don't need a lot of the product to make it work. I absorbs very well and doesn't leave a greasy feel. I ended up buying some for my sister to try because she has dry rough hands and she loves it also. A definite good buy and I highly recommend it. :)
I've been on the hunt for the perfect hand cream since Body Shop discontinued an almond oil one I loved a number of years ago, and haven't yet found one that quite compares. I don't know if it's the combination of beeswax and almond oil, but I find that the scent of this product has an overpowering sweetness to it that I find unappealing. It also takes entirely too long to absorb (most likely due to the beeswax), and seems to leave a residue on my hands. The search for the perfect hand cream continues.
the first time i tried this product, i thought maybe the creme had gone bad. it felt just like vaseline + didn't absorb into my skin. i stopped using it because i didn't want to get greasy fingerprints all over my computer. and the smell is just... off.
This is my fave "treatment" hand cream. I only use this at night, at bedtime. It is a very heavy cream that smells great. I don't recommend for day use. Your hands will be oily, but, leave it on overnight while you sleep and it will work wonders. Before I discovered this cream, my hands would crack and bleed from Northeastern winters. No more with this. One jar lasts me the winter.
LOVE the smell of this! I know the texture doesn't allow it to sink in quickly (it is made from beeswax after all!), but if you love anything almond/marzipan scented, you must purchase it for the scent alone!
i really like this hand creme. i love the smell. it reminds me of amaretto. it does take some time to sink into my skin but i dont really mind.
