I've had this brush for about a year, and it's held up well under less than stellar conditions. I'm not exactly kind to my brushes when I wash them...I'm a little on the rough side. However, my trusty 266 has hung in there with me, and hasn't lost it's shape or even any bristles. It's made of synthetic fibers so it doesn't hold as much bacteria as natural fibers, and it doesn't splay out at all, even after continual use and washes.
This is a small, thin, angle brush. It's perfect for lining above the eyes with cake, gel, or liquid liners, and is also very effective for tightlining and lining the waterline. It's great for smudging, as well. Overall, a very versatile brush. I'm glad I got it, as it's become a staple in my collection. Definitely recommend.

This brush is synthetic so it keeps its shape extremely well even after washes. I will probably have this brush for years. I love it for fluidline! So precise and great for laying down eyeliner onto your waterline, smudging out pencil liner, or setting eyeliner with powder.
I use this brush whenever I want to apply eye shadows as an eye liner, both wet and try. You can get a very precise line and the brush is so thin, it's easy to stay close to the lash line. I've washed the brush many times in the past 3 years that I've had it and the bristles stay put. You're able to reshape it so that it dries to the chisel point, which is really great. I got this brush after my mom suggested it, who uses it for her eyebrows and hers is in great condition, too.
This brush is great and I can understand why MAC fanatics are so faithful to MAC brushes. I actually have more Bobbi Brown brushes in my collection than MAC, but I deter from buying both bc of the price (the BB brushes were mostly gifts). However, I've tried to find dupes and nothing really compares. Great quality brushes.
GREAT Eyeliner for fluidline but can sometimes make for too thick of a line if your not careful. Also good for filling in eyebrows, and foiling pigments or glitters. But other than that, I have no idea what to use this brush for. I would only buy for mac fluidline.
applies my blacktrack fluidline like a dream. so easy to use, easy to change how i want the line to look (can be really thin or thick) just perfect!!.
Hands down THE BEST brush for filling in your brows. I use it daily for this and it's held up perfectly for over a year. I also use it for applying liner- shadows or gel. It works with the contours of your eyelid and makes it a whole lot easier to apply eyeliner without pulling on your eye.
Fabulous for winging out your gel liner, especially if you're new to using gel liner. An angled brush is WAY easier to handle than a fine brush for this.
I just bought another one of these because I use it too much! I want to have one for liner and one for brows, since I accidentally used this on my brows when it was still full of Carbon from last night's liner and made myself look like a Disney queen.
This is the only MAC brush I owned. I bought it like 10 years ago and back then this was just too expensive for me but I suck it up and bought it because I need an angled brush for my eyebrows. Back then, I also didn't have access to that many makeup brands because of where I live and there is no such thing as online shopping yet.
Anyway, after ten years this brush still looks like new and never shed even once. I love it for applying gel liners and filling in my brows with shadows. It's amazing how a brush can hold up this long. Oh, I reason I wouldn't buy this again is because I have access to so many cheaper alternatives online and in stores.

I like this brush. Not amazing, but does a great job at filling in my eyebrows. It's never shed once either.
This is the only MAC brush I own. I don't even remember when I bought it! It was definitely more than five years ago.
Perfect angle and density for my brows, and applying under eye shadow liner. It's small enough that I have total control on where and how much color will be applied. A good brush for detail work.

I love this brush. i use it to apply the fluid line eyeliner and have been using it for 3 years now. it's a bit tricky to get used to, but once you know how to work the angle you can get thin or thick lines. it cleans easy and the bristles are good quality. i have two of these brushes, one i use for fluid line and one i use for shadow. (i use it to fill in my brows or to apply shadow to lash lines). the one i use for fluid line i've had for 3 years and it's still in great shape. you can hardly tell the difference between the 3 year old one and the 6 month old one.
