I moved to Beijing last year where it is extremely dry, and decided to give this another shot (new, creamier formulation). I had used it about 5 years ago, but lac-hydrin was enough for me at the time (lived in California).
My skin just loves it. I think the key is to use it after stepping out of the shower -- I've never had problems with it not absorbing and/or being sticky using it this way. But I have been using lac-hydrin literally for 10 years every single day after showering, so I'm used to the routine of slathering on lotion afterwards.
I have also tried the raspberry and papaya versions (both for normal skin), but I don't think they are moisturizing enough for me. The mango one suits me best -- moisturizing enough during winter, and doesn't overload even in the summer months. I alternate this with my usual lac-hydrin, and sometimes layer over lac-hydrin.
This is a great body butter. It is a great introduction to the line, but I only buy it when it is on sale as it goes very fast and is preety expensive. Loving Chic Afrique body butters which are just as good for less money.
The only thing I liked in this product is the fruity smell, it reminded me of a jelly kind of food I ate when I was little....Classic TBS body butter packaging, nothing fancy.
I find the butter way to greasy, it DOES NOT really moisturize your skin, just leave a layer of grease on top.
I will not buy it again

I'm not much of a mango fan, but I purchased this anyways. I found this to be a little too thick and oily for my liking so I gave this to my dad. He likes it a lot because his hands are extremely rough and calloused. I do, however, really like the packaging of body butters! I find them to be so cute and convient! Too bad they didn't work our for me, I very much prefer VS hand/body lotions. I won't be purchasing, unless my dad runs out and requests for more.
Great scent, seems to have alot of orange notes to it. It's heavy and you need to let it breathe after applying it, but eventually my skin does seem to absorb it. I like the Mango Whip Body Lotion better, you can just slather it on and go without the "drying time" so I took a lippy off for that.
Smells soo yummy you could eat it. I wish it was yummy on my skin, too. It just is too thick and sticky even for my very dry legs. I tried it in winter, it stuck on my pijamas. I tried it in summer after sunbathing which dries my skin very badly but I needed to shower again after a couple of hours as it felt so uncomfortable. Brazil Nut BB is much better for me.
I love the smell of Mango from this body butter! The consistency of this is really thick hence why its called a 'body butter' The moisture from this product is really good but does take a while to dry into your skin so not great if your in a hurry! The only con about this product is the price. It retails here for 20euro which is a little pricey, but I would buy it again!
This product absolutely great! I generally love anything mango, and I was truly impressed by this body butter. The scent was pretty sweet, but I still liked it. I apply it onto my legs after I shower, since my legs get very dry, and they look moisturized and hydrated. The price, however, is pretty high, but I would repurchase this product again.
