Maybe it's because I have fair skin but this product does nothing for me. It doesn't matter how much I apply, it doesn't show even the slightest bit. I'll keep it and try it during the summer when I have a tan so hopefully it will work with a darker skin tone but as far as with fair skin - nada.

I LOVE this!! Instant glow =)
I used to use high beam, but I soon as I saw this (just as someone said below) I thought it would look much better with my skin tone. I love high beam, but not for everyday. Moon beam looks beautiful and natural on my olive skin.

Also high beam tends to be shiny on me, and having oily skin I don't need the extra shine. Moon beam is more of a luminous glow. It's perfect, I find myself reaching for it most days!

My HG highlighter!!!!! This highlighter is soo universal i use it for everything! The bottle lasts you a VERY long time..so thats also a plus!

I use this when mixing a tinted moisturizer ((preferably Benefits "You Rebel")) for an all over glow on my face. it looks flawless!!!!!! I'll use this on my eyebrow bone, the bridge of my nose, & a couple dots on the top of my cheeks & blend in to my hair line...it gives my face the definition it needs because my face is a little round! i loveeee this stuff i wont leave with out this! I'll also make a line down on my legs & my arms to give the illusion of them looking thinner. Its the perfect color...w/ the peachy/gold irredescent color... i always get compliments on this! The bottle is a little weak...since it looks like a nail polish bottle... but other than that i loveeeee it! 5/5!! continued >>

My HG highlighter. It gives me a perfect dewy glow on my everyday look and with a little extra highlighting powder on nights out, it makes my skin really pop in pictures.

Hmmm...this highlighter wasn't for me. I'm a tan NC40 and it didn't show up AT ALL. I like subtle highlighters but this was taking the mick. After paying £16.50 I wasn't happy. The formula makes my skin greasy and breaks me out. Packaging sucks - my bottle cracked when I dropped it onto my wooden floor. Waste of money for me.

This stuff is great. I love the dewy finish it gives my skin. I don't use it everyday, but I like to use it for special occasions. It makes my skin have a very nice glow to it. I'd recommend it to anyone like me who has very pale skin, because it better compliments my skin tone than High-beam. Love this stuff! I only wish the packaging was more convenient, because then I would use it more often.

After using high beam for a whole, i decided to use something a little more complimentary for my skin tone. While High beam is great, i think it agrees more with my olive skin tone for night time or more dramatic makeup since its almost a frosty white and that blends into a pinkish frost. Moon beam looks tan in the bottle but blends into more of an apricot color on your cheeks, if you're naturally tanned like me. Like another reviewer said, your skin has to be at least moisturized and i believe that the colors pop best when worn over tinted moisturizers or liquid foundation. For best results, i apply right after my foundation or TM application, before it dries and sets. This will allow you to blend the highlighter with the foundation on the specific spots you chose. I actually like the applicator, i dot along the top of my cheek bones, about 4 dots and blend upwards to my brow bone and just a bit into my cheeks. Then one dot on the bridge of my nose and blend down the bridge of my nose but not to the tip. a dot on my chin. Its very subtle but i can definitely see the light reflecting of my cheekbones when i look in them mirror. Product doesnt become greasy during the day or change color. It sometimes clumps in the bottle but all you have to do is shake it like you would a nail polish. Love it.

I really love Moon Beam. I mix this into my liquid foundation and it makes it slightly darker and glowy, not greasy. I dont use this to highlight my cheekbones, but I put it over my Petticoat MSF since it makes it look better.

After finding my long-neglected High Beam & remembering how much I loved it, I thought I'd give Moon Beam a try.
Love that it's easy to apply. Three dots along my cheekbone give me a beautiful, glitter-free highlight. It wears well, once it's on, it stays there until I take my make-up off.
It's more subtle than High Beam. More of a touch of a glow so it's better for day use.
My only disappointment comes from the colour. It's a gorgeous peachy colour with a touch of pink in the bottle. On my skin, it's just straight up pink. Not too far removed from MAC's MSF in Pleasureflush, in fact. Whilst it's very pretty, I would have liked the peachy tones to show up. I don't even get a hint of gold, just the pink.
I would repurchase again though, just because it's a nice alternative to dealing with a powder highlighter when I don't have the time or inclination. continued >>

The reviewer who said this works better on darker skin may be onto something. I have fair skin and this does nothing for me. I also find the goopy texture works poorly with the fingernail-polish-style bottle and applicator. Perhaps the applicator-hassle might be worth it for those with darker complexions, I can't say.
