I have very thick, wavy/curly, partially highlighted hair. I'm very particular about the way hair products leave my hair feeling - I hate anything too heavy or products that don't leave my hair feeling smooth and weightless. I've been using this shampoo in conjunction with the 3 minute miracle deeeeeeep conditioner for the past year or so & I absolutely love it. It detangles, leaves my hair feeling healthy & doesn't weigh it down whatsoever. I would imagine it would be too heavy for people with thinner hair than mine - but if you're someone with semi hard to manage hair, i would definitely check this stuff out. AND, it's only $3.50! (a huge bottle at Target is $6.50 and will last you forever)
I used this for the first time tonight and it got my hair really clean no build up left behind or anything. I used it with the 3 minute deep conditioner which I think helped, it has a nice smell but after the 3 minute deep I cant say it the smell lingers or not. as long as it removes all my buildup and helps my very dry hair I will be buying it again
I have been using this shampoo for about two weeks now, and I have very dry curly hair. I haven't really noticed anything.. it's got a nice smell and it lathers well but that's probably it for me. But then, the fact that I wash my hair every day probably has to do why it isn't so.. "moist" no pun intended. But really, my hair is still straw. Meh. Don't hate it or love it.
PROS: Worked well for my dry/fine hair. Smells good. Inexpensive.
CONS: Might be a bit too cleansing for very dry hair.
ALTERNATES: Weightless Conditioning Shampoo by Motions, found in the African American hair section in my Walmart is a bit more gentle than this. Organic Root Stimulator's Olive Oil Shampoo (found in the African-American section at my Walmart) is definitely gentler than this.
This shampoo is great. The smell is fruity and lasts all day and into the next. My hair feels smooth even before I have to condition.
I really love this. Keeps my hair hydrated and healthy.
I had to switch to a clarifying shampoo when I moved into a house that had hard water.
Got it because it was cheap and seemed like a decent choice for my 6 year old daughter who has outgrown crappy "kids" shampoos, but is too young for Kerastase and Phyto. DD is 6 and has dry hair so this works OK for her, but we tend to like Garnier better.
I personally don't like the smell. It is an okay shampoo, did add some moisture to my hair but not a miracle!
All I can say is awesome. Really moisturizes and detangles. Be wary of getting this close to the roots, it can be a little heavy. I also have been using this as a shaving cream! it gives me the silkiest most moisturized legs!!
