This is the best mascara I've ever used...when I can get it to apply correctly, which often ends up being a shot in the dark. The product DOES work the way it says it does--my lashes are full, long, plump, luscious, the works. But when the moon is in the wrong position in the sky, or when the bears have gone into hibernation for the winter, or when the sorcerer casts the wrong spell at the inopportune moment...this is the worst mascara I have ever used. When it doesn't work, it's gloopy, it clumps, and is impossible to apply. And the thing is, I can't tell you exactly why it'll work sometimes and it won't work other times. I've finally found some tricks to making it behave a little better (like applying it to the tips of my lashes first and gently, slowly, working my way back), but some days it simply doesn't work. For that, I don't feel comfortable giving it any higher than three lippies. But let me tell you--when this product works, it is completely fantastic. WHEN it works.

This mascara is great for every-day use. I use it mostly on my top lashes, and it clumps a little bit if I don't let it dry between coats, but overall it goes on smoothly and it only takes two to three coats to get the length/thickness I'm looking for. It stays on FOREVER, too, even when wet! I would definitely purchase again.

a good product for non clumpy yet short eyelashes... its works very well with other mascaras through and does not clump!

I picked this up hearing good things about it (and i love Maybelline's mascaras) Anyhoo, as soon as I got home I had to try it out. It separated my lashes pretty well but even with multiple coats my lashes just looked like thin little twiglets. It was pretty disappointing really.

This is pretty good. It is sort of like Full 'n Soft. I like how it doesn't smudge and doesn't flake. The volume is pretty decent and the lengthening is ok. A good mascara, but not great.

This is currently my favorite mascara. It pretty much has every thing I am looking for and has combined features I like in several mascaras, into one. It separates and adds good volume. The black is a nice rich black. The brush works well on my lower lashes without hitting the skin and leaving behind mascara goop. I don't have any issues with it flaking through out the day. And I absolutely adore the fact that it doesn't make my lashes hard or brittle. They feel almost bare and natural to the touch. My only gripe is it a little annoying to remove...definitely needs a separate eye makeup remover because I am still left with raccoon eyes after face washing or even a shower. Oh yeah, can't beat the price, especially when it's something you love!

When I was at walmart today, I realized that it had been several months since I got a new mascara, and that I was well overdue for a new one. So I picked up mega plush. I already had a little bit of mascara on, but I tried it as soon as I got home from the store. And so far, I've gotta say, I love it. Maybe that'll change, but for now I find that it's one of the best mascaras I've ever tried. Which I say.. oh, every time I get a new mascara. So, we'll see how it goes.

I bought this on a whim, I was most likely at the drugstore and maybelline was having a BOGO 50% off and I was missing one item.

I usually go for dramatic mascaras, so when I found myself with a natural look after applying this, I was surprised at my pleasure.

The wand has a weakness in the middle, making it wiggle and squirm when you use it. You may think that'll be a mess to apply, but really it's not. The wand just sort of bounces up your lashes effortlessly. It adds a bit of volume, color, and maybe a trace of length.

For some reason I find myself infatuated with the stuff. Call me crazy, but I love it! If you have lashes that are naturally light and short, the result may be different...that being the reason it has a four lippie in my book.

I really like this mascara. It's a good every day mascara. Since I am a mascara junkie, I layer mascaras. I made this one my base coat because it has the right kind of consistency and it separates my lashes nicely. It is not very dramatic, so if you're looking for dramatic, this is not the mascara for you. Maybelline mascaras have never failed to impress me, and I am very satisfied with this mascara. I will definatly re-purchase.

Unlike other reviewers, I really like this mascara a lot! And this comes after having spent the past year trying about a dozen different mascaras to find "the one." It's now one of my two favorites, along with Jordana's.

The formula is a perfect, gel-like consistency -- not too thick or thin, not too wet or dry -- that goes on from root to tip, lengthening and thickening without speckling on my eyelid. I rarely have to "clean up" my lid after using this, and still get the lush effect that I really like. It layers well, and I haven't noticed any clumps or flakes.

The one drawback (and reason I'm only giving it a 4) is that the brush is too big for me to easily use on my lower lashes. For those, I use Maybelline Lash Discovery.
